Japanese-Korean women to visit Japan

Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- The Cuban movement for peace and sovereignty among the peoples sent a letter to the United Nations commission on human rights on October 24, in demand of the repatriation of old Kim in so, who is an unconverted long-term prisoner. Kim in so was taken prisoner during the 1950-1953 Korean War and has been under the harsh political persecution by the south Korean authorities since being released. The letter asked the U.N. commission on human rights to urge the south Korean "government" to send the old man back to the DPRK at an early date, and criticised the violations of human rights in south Korea. Since he was arrested by the south Korean authorities, Kim in so has undergone all pains for nearly half a century. He is unable to move without a helping hand due to the worsening sequela of cerebral hemorrhage after being put on a parole. Recalling this fact, the letter called upon humanitarian organizations of the world to take a relevant step by all possible means so that he may be sent back to his hometown in the northern half of Korea.
