Pyongyang, November 23 (KCNA) -- The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea made the following remarks in an interview with KCNA today: The third four-party preliminary meeting held in New York on November 21 agreed to hold the "Four-Party Talks" in Geneva on December 9. We have so far made sincere efforts for the holding of the "Four-Party Talks" since we clarified our principled position to participate in the talks with a view to preserving a lasting peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. Thanks to our sincere efforts, confidence and political atmosphere for the "Four-Party Talks" have been created considerably and it has been promised that the talks will focus on the U.S. troop pullout and the conclusion of a peace agreement between the DPRK and the U.S., as we have demanded. That is why we agreed to hold the talks. We will do all we can to make the talks contribute to peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. And we hope that all the other parties to the talks will sincerely approach the talks to find a substantial solution to the issues.

Continued struggle declared in s. Korea

It denounced the "government"-backed management side of the hospital for asking police to walk away strikers in violation of its promise with unionists and repeatedly declared that it would more stubbornly fight to make the demands of the Hospital Trade Union met.

R.S. on remarks of colonial stooge

Pyongyang, November 23 (KCNA) -- A short while ago, the south Korean puppet Foreign Minister, when giving a lecture on "orientation of diplomatic policy", cried for "isolation" of the northern half of Korea and "inter-Korean dialogue" and spoke ill of the efforts for the improved relations between the DPRK and the U.S. and between the DPRK and Japan. Rodong Sinmun today brands his remarks as the complaints of a colonial stooge who is ignorant of the trend of the times. The news analyst goes on: It is the height of impudence for him to cry for "isolation" of the northern half of Korea. He is not entitled to do so. For Kim Young Sam forsaken by his masters, the U.S. and Japan, to cry for "isolation" is as good as shaking his fists at the sky. The call for "inter-Korean dialogue" is also nonsense. With any honeyed words, the Kim Young Sam regime cannot flee from the responsibility for its crimes in bringing inter-Korean dialogue to a rupture and in laying a stumbling-block in the way of national reunification. In talking about "inter-Korean dialogue", grounlessly slandering the northern half of Korea, the puppets seek to cast a shadow over the zeal for the improvement of relations between the DPRK and the U.S., between the DPRK and Japan. The puppets had better stop acting rashly and mind their own business.
