Rodong Sinmun on labor policy of S. Korean regime

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun today says the South Korean regime's labor policy does not become the name of "people's government." The news analyst of the paper says: Despite strong protests of workers, the South Korean authorities insist that the lay-off system should never be withdrawn. They ask the workers to join in the "second-term labor-management-government committee" and to bear the sufferings. They also issue one order after another to suppress the workers' righteous action for vital rights at the point of the bayonet. The authorities insist on continuance of the lay-off system, though they are well aware that it will plunge South Korea into a flood of unemployment. This shows they aim to kill all the workers. What the present regime that styles itself as "people's government" has done is that it blocked the workers' livelihood and cracks down on their struggle for existence. Now that it is obvious that the present regime's labor policy is anti-social, the South Korean working people will never tolerate it.
