U.S. aggressors hit for their outrage
Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The U.S. aggressors committed violence against the residents in Misan-subcounty, Ryonchon county, Kyonggi Province of South Korea who were holding a strong protest against the war exercises of the U.S. Forces and inflicted a severe injury upon them on May 30.
Rodong Sinmun today says that the outrage can be committed only by the U.S. Imperialist aggressors, descendants of the pirates notorious for man-hunting.
The news analyst says:
It must not go unnoticed that such outrage still continues under the present "government" of South Korea.
The present puppet rulers of South Korea are begging for the permanent presence of the u.s. Forces in South Korea more zealously than their predecessors did. They claim that even after the reunification of the country the U.S. Forces should be kept in South Korea.
With the aggressors left in the country the South Koreans cannot extricate themselves from misfortune any time. Nor can they live in peace.
The South Korean people, therefore, call for the U.S. troop pullout more earnestly with each passing day. Their call manifests their unanimous will to drive the U.S. imperialist aggression forces out of South Korea.

DPRK to strongly urge Japan to liquidate past crime
Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- Since Japan's liquidation of the past crime is directly linked with the question of creating an atmosphere of true good neighbourhood and friendship in Asia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will fight it out till it is solved completely.
The delegate of the DPRK made the remarks on May 26 at the 23rd session of the working group on slave of modern version held in Switzerland.
He said the DPRK bitterly condemns all sorts of slavery and enslavement which still remain worldwide, and calls for an early liquidation of such acts.
Japan's "comfort women for the army" issue is not mere sexual harassment of Asian women, but a thrice-cursed crime ever known in history, that is, reducing women to mental and physical cripples, beating, stabbing and strangling them to death, he said, and continued:
Japan should show her willingness to do away with the past crime in practice. She admits the criminal facts, but refuses to make them public and tries to distort them.

The Japanese government should make a due apology and compensation for the great pains and losses the victims and their bereaved families are subjected to for its refusal to do away with the crime, the DPRK delegate said.
Efforts made to create new speed
Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- Korea is creating a "New Chollima Speed, the speed of forced march".
The speed is very instrumental in turning impossibility into possibility and working miracles in the present difficult situation.
The new speed began in the construction of major objects in Pyongyang in less than one month after the central committee of the Workers' Party of Korea called for vigorously dashing forward at a New Chollima Speed by following the workers of the Songjin Steel Complex.
Soldier-builders raised the construction speed of objects 2.5-3 times.
The soldier-builders in charge of the laying of a new Rimhung crossroad-Sinmidong Road leading to the Pyongyang airport have already built hundreds of reinforced concrete piers, which amounted to what would have taken several months.
They completed a project in a single night, which would have taken three or four days at an ordinary speed, and finished another project in a matter of two days, which would have taken ten days.
The builders in charge of the April 25 Hotel and the April 25 Film Studio of the Korean People's Army which are of world standard finished the last 50 percent project of floor assembling in a month.
That amounted to what was done for the past few months.
The builders there are gaining dazzling successes in the construction of the interior.
Three more floors were assembled in the wake of the publication of the WPK Central Committee's calls.
The plastering is carried out at more than 220 percent compared with the daily average standard.
Innovations are reported from housing and structural construction, river improvement project and other construction sites of the capital city.
A drive to create the "New Chollima Speed, the speed of the forced march" which began in the building of the capital city is brisk throughout the country.
The builders of the capital city assembled a flat for a household in 14 minutes to create world-shaking "Pyongyang Speed" at the end of the 50s during which the great Chollima Upswing was effected.

Kim In Ho, recently-elected chairman of the north headquarters of Pomchonghakryon, expressed the expectation that the proposals of the north students would be accepted at an early date, stressing:
The students in the north and the south should hold travels and contacts before anyone else. Through this, they should preserve the commonness and superiority of the Korean nation and narrow down margins of differences between the north and the south.
This is precisely the way to reunification of the country.
