Korea will certainly be reunified
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The national chairman of the militant party for sovereignty of Madagascar, addressing a meeting which marked the month of international solidarity with the Korean people, expressed the conviction that the Korean people will force the U.S. out of South Korea and certainly achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
He expressed full support to the three charters of national reunification and the five-point policy of great national unity set forth by President Kim Il Sung and the respected Kim Jong Il.
Noting that the U.S. are running amuck in preparations for a new war still with an aggressive ambition, instead of drawing lessons from their defeat in the Korean War (1950-1953), he demanded that the U.S. withdraw its armed forces from South Korea at an early date and stop at once interfering with the reunification of Korea.
Ahmad Ha Sarin, editor-in-chief of the Egyptian paper Al Shabab Al Arab, in a statement on the occasion of the month of international solidarity with the Korean people, fully supported the five-point policy of great national unity clarified by Kim Jong Il and expressed solidarity with the struggle of the Korean people to get the foreign forces withdrawn from South Korea and terminate the division of the country.
He said that Korea will certainly be reunified thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il and the people rallied aqound him in one mind.

S. Korean students called on to solidarize with workers in struggle
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The central committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League sent an appeal to the South Korean students on July 18 as regards the mass unemployment caused by the anti-social labour politics in South Korea.
The economic bankruptcy and unemployment produced by the outsiders' domination over South Korea and the flunkeyist and treacherous moves of the South Korean rulers will last ceaselessly and lead everything to ruin, the appeal said.
This will multiply misfortunes and sufferings of all the South Korean people and cast a dark shadow over the unified development of the country.
"It is high time for the South Korean students to rise up in the struggle, put an end to the economic trusteeship of outside forces and traitors and achieve vital rights, democracy and national reunification," the appeal said.
"They should set fire to such murderous labour laws as the layoff system in firm unity with the workers."
"We will invariably support and encourage the South Korean people and students in their just struggle for independence and democratization of society and the reunification of the country."
CPRF denounces S. Korean puppets' war preparations against north
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The secretariat of the committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland published information bulletin no. 767 on July 18 bitterly denouncing the South Korean puppets' arms buildup and war manoeuvres.
The information bulletin reads in part:
The South Korean bellicose elements are not only purchasing combat equipment from the united states but also spending a fabulous amount of funds in introducing submarines, destroyers and other combat equipment. They are staging war manoeuvres against North Korea on the pretext of "intrusion" and the like.
The war manoeuvres against the north the present South Korean rulers have staged since they took power are nearly ten times as many as in the same period right after the appearance of the "civilian"-veiled "government."
Worse still, the present South Korean chief executive visited military academies and units of the three services of the puppet army and incited war fever, crying for "confrontation with communism."
The arms buildup and war manoeuvres will only result in worsening the north-south relations and leading the situation of the country to the brink of war.
Now that the South Korean rulers are resorting to the arms buildup and war manoeuvres hand in glove with outside forces, we will have no choice but to take strong countermeasures.
They must discontinue their arms buildup and war manoeuvres at once and stop their reckless moves to unleash a war against us immediately.
Just struggle of S. Korean workers supported
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- Working people in Pyongyang bitterly denounced the anti-social labour policy of the South Korean authorities and expressed full support and solidarity for the South Korean workers in their just struggle for elementary rights to existence.
Meetings were held at the General Lighting Appliances Factory, Passenger Motor Company no. 1 and Jangchon Cooperative Farm in Sadong district from July 16 to 18.
Speakers said at the meetings:
South Korea has been turned into a veritable hell of the working people owing to the "economic restructuring" for massive layoffs imposed by the authorities. As a result, a large number of people have lost their jobs, many families have been destroyed and many children became "orphans," abandoned by their parents.
Nevertheless, the South Korean authorities are bestially cracking down upon the struggle of workers and jobless people while appeasing them.
They must put an immediate end to the brutal suppression.
The speakers expressed the belief that the South Korean workers would certainly frustrate the murderous layoff system and "restructuring" by fighting in firm unity in defiance of appeasement, deception and violence employed by the authorities.
Rodong Sinmun on U.S. trip of S. Korean "Defence Minister"
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- The disgraceful behaviour shown by "Minister of National Defence" of South Korea Chon Yong Thaek during his visit to the United States glaringly reveals the ugly nature of the South Korean puppets as colonial war servants who are frantically trying to hurt and stifle the fellow countrymen in the north with the help of their American masters, says Rodong Sinmun today.
The analyst of the paper further says:
While in the United States, Chon alleged that South Korea is now exposed to "dual threat" by the north and that the north is increasing the danger of war on the Korean peninsula. Moreover, he went the length of maliciously slandering the system of the DPRK.
This clearly reveals that he is an anti-communist element of the worst type who lost his reason and judgement, frantically seeking confrontation and war moves against the north.
Worse still, he did not forget to cry that the United States and South Korea must further consolidate the "joint defense preparedness." by doing so, he sided with the U.S. plan to invade the DPRK.
This is an ample evidence of the South Korean puppets' criminal intention to ignite a fratricidal war in league with outside forces.
No matter how desperately the puppets may try to hurt the high dignity of the DPRK, they cannot satisfy their ambition.
They must act with discretion, mindful that their attempt will only result in their own ruin.
