Relics unearthed
Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Korean archaeologists recently unearthed new relics in Pyongyang area.
The relics prove the long history of Tangun's Korea and "Taedonggang Culture."
The relics include an ancient wall of a citadel belonging to the period of ancient Korea discovered in the under layer of the walled city of Pyongyang which had been considered to belong only to the Koguryo Dynasty= altars for king Tangun discovered in Hwasong-Dong, Ryongsong district, and in Honam-Ri, Samsok district, Pyongyang= and the site of a large village.
The ancient wall made of clay and stones is 1.5m high, 5.2m wide in the bottom and 4.2m wide on the top.
The wall has proved to date back to king Tangun's Korea in view of the layer of the wall, the style of construction and historical data.
The altars situated on a plain area and a low hill are 800 metres apart from each other. Pieces of bowl and stone spear dating back to Tangun's Korea were also discovered there.
It has been confirmed that one of the two belongs to the early period of Tangun's Korea (5,000-4,500 years ago) and the other to the late period of Tangun's Korea (4,000-3,500 years ago).
The altars are three times as large as the one in Yonthan county which has so far been known to be the largest.
The site of a village covers an area of 150,000 square metres. There were discovered some 40 house sites as old as the new stone age and the ancient period. They date back as far as between the latter half of the fourth millennium BC and the first half of the second millennium BC, all in the period of Tangun's Korea.
There were also discovered carbonized rice and beans that show the nation's long history of grain cultivation. The rice and beans are 4,980-4,680 years old. They prove that irrigation farming already began when Tangun's Korea was founded.
The recently unearthed relics show once again that Tangun's Korea was founded as a state in the early period of the third millennium BC and that Pyongyang was the capital of ancient Korea.
Sea-Kumgang
Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- The wonders of Sea-Kumgang are made up of double of manmulsang (peaks of ten thousand features), one above the water and the other underwater.

Continued threats by warmanics
Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- The spokesman for the U.S. Defense Department on July 30 said that the United States will continue to "support" South Korea allegedly to prevent "infiltration by the DPRK" and that there is no change in the operation of U.S. warships including the aircraft carrier Carl Vinson, a Seoul-based radio reported.
He made such utterances after the spokesman for the U.S. State Department on July 27 vociferated about "support" of U.S. fleets for South Korea, hurling slanders at the DPRK.
These ill-boding utterances are intended to threaten the DPRK and stimulate its nerve.
This shows that the U.S. imperialists' moves to start a war on the Korean peninsula have entered a very dangerous stage.
If they finally unleash war in defiance of our repeated warnings, they will certainly be annihilated.
