Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The South Korean authorities are slandering the launch of the artificial satellite by the north. The South Korean ruler, when meeting with the former U.S. State Secretary, his master, a few days ago, cried for "close cooperation" against the north, talking about "provocation" and "purpose" in the wake of the launch. Rodong Sinmun today says this is as good as barking at the moon. The news analyst says: With a view to using the space for peaceful purposes we successfully launched the artificial satellite. The launch is a great pride of the Tangun nation and a historic event heralding the bright future of a strong and prosperous country. The South Korean authorities, far from congratulating the fellow countrymen in the north upon the successful launch, are slandering it. Their slander is a revelation of their hostile consciousness and a jealousy of ill-natured ruffians. They joined in the smear campaign of their masters, the U.S. and Japan, claiming that the north launched a ballistic missile, only to betray their true colors as the colonial stooges. If the South Korean authorities resort to the criminal campaign to slander and stifle the DPRK with the backing of their masters, they will certainly meet with destruction.
