Rodong Sinmun on powerful state of Juche based on socialist idea
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) - The Workers' Party of Korea's cause of building a powerful state is a historic cause that will be accomplished by the invincible politico-ideological might.
Rodong Sinmun stresses this in a signed article today.
The greatness of ideology totally symbolizes a powerful state and motivates the building of it, the paper says, and goes on:
Our socialist country is the tower of success whose foundation was laid with ideology and whose construction was done by its might.
It is the rockfirm will of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Il to build a powerful state with the might of ideology.
Kim Jong Il has led the revolution and construction since long ago, with the firm faith that a country, a nation and socialism will emerge victorious if they adhere to ideology, but they will be ruined if they fail to do so.
The WPK's plan of building a powerful state fully reflects his theory of ideology. There is nothing impossible in the world if people are set in motion ideologically. This is his steadfast will.
Ours is an invincible powerful state of Juche that is being built with the Marshal's idea of independence and by the idea of singlehearted unity.
The Korean people are now rallied as one in the great idea of Kim Jong Il and are fighting in the spirit of devotedly defending him. It is their revolutionary traits in building a powerful state.
Ours is a strong country that is built by his matchless grit and courageous will and a strong fortress of socialism that is set up in the anti-imperialist revolutionary spirit.
The Korean people's cause of powerful state building is his noble cause for the nation.
Our powerful state is where his idea of love for the country, nation and people is fully embodied and comes into full bloom.
The historic march of building the powerful state has already started.
No force on earth can block this dynamic advance of marchers wisely led by the great marshal.

Repeal of agreement with IMF called for
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- Over 700 members of 60 civic and religious organisations including the South Korea confederation of trade unions launched a people's march for the repeal of the agreement with the International Monetary Fund and for the vital rights of the people at the government building on Saturday, according to a radio report from Seoul.
The march was organised nearly one year after South Korea was placed under the trusteeship of the IMF.
Participants in the march strongly requested the authorities to withdraw the agreement with the IMF at once, asserting that the agreement caused high unemployment and worsened economic bankruptcy, undermining the brittle economic foundations of South Korea.
