Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- The South Korean coalition ruling parties, the "National Congress for New Politics" and the "United Liberal Democrats," on January 5 rushed some 70 "bills" through the "National Assembly," and on January 6 they also railroaded through the "National Assembly" the bill on the ratification of the treacherous "fisheries accord" with the Japanese reactionaries, according to a radio report from Seoul.
At the "National assembly extraordinary session" they laid the bill on the ratification of the "fisheries accord" and 65 other "bills" before the "National Assembly" in the "capacity of the chairman" and approved all of them in a little over ten minutes without the explanation of and deliberation on them, the radio said.
Enraged by this, the opposition "assemblymen" began an indefinite sit-in, calling for a stop to the political surveillance and the withdrawal of the ratification of the "fisheries accord" at the main conference hall of the "National Assembly" building on the evening of January 6, the radio added.

Japan's move to reinvade Korea denounced
Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- The secretariat of the committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland issued information bulletin No. 777 on Saturday to denounce the Japanese military boss for exposing Japan's ambition to reinvade the Korean peninsula.
The bulletin said:
Director-general of the Defence Agency of Japan Hosei Norota's tour of Panmunjom during his recent visit to South Korea clearly reveals Japan's ambition to reinvade the Korean peninsula, which is a grave provocation against the DPRK.
It also shows that the Japanese reactionaries' design to stage a comeback to Korea with the backing of the United States has entered the stage of implementation.
What is clear is that the war moves of the South Korean ruling quarters to invade the north according to the scenario of the U.S. imperialists have also gone beyond the limit line.
The Japan as well as the U.S. is a sworn enemy of the Korean people. We will certainly square accounts with the Japanese Samurais any time.
Rodong Sinmun on U.S. subcritical nuclear test
Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- The subcritical nuclear test made by the United States on December 12 last year can not be justified in any case.
Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun today says:
The United States seeks to continue the test, development and production of new nuclear weapons by such a method as subcritical nuclear test because it cannot openly make nuclear tests after the cold war.
The U.S. plans to make a monopoly of nuclear weapons from the strategic point of view and enforce a policy of unrestricted domination through the subcritical nuclear test.
The test may cause a "domino" phenomenon.
Especially, a structure of nuclear confrontation may be formed when the "partnership" of big powers splits or is broken.
Then, the danger of thermonuclear war will grow more serious than in the Cold War era.
It is only too natural that the international public denounces the test as a dangerous factor of a new nuclear arms race against the international demand for elimination of nuclear weapons.
Japan is not qualified for UNSC permanent member
Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- Some time ago, the Russian ambassador to Japan criticized Japan for zealously supporting the military attack of the United States and Britain on Iraq in disregard of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), saying that Japan's support does not agree with its purpose to become a permanent member of the UNSC.
Assessing his criticism as impartial, a news analyst of Rodong Sinmun today says:
The Japanese reactionaries were the first to support the U.S. attack on Iraq.
What they sought in this is to egg the Uited Sates on to make an armed invasion of other nations as it attacked Iraq and thus take the opportunity to make an overseas aggression.
Japan unhesitatingly ignored the sovereignty of the other country in disregard of the international law and the UN charter.
Therefore, Japan has no elementary qualification to become a permanent member of the UNSC.
Much effort is not needed to guess how shamelessly and impudently Japan will behave in case it gets the permanent membership. Then, the world will become confused and the sovereignty of other countries will be infringed upon.
It is natural that the world is following Japan's movement with sharpened vigilance.
