Kim Il Sung praised highly

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Alva Chavez, director of the board of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and member of the executive committee of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, who visited the DPRK, highly praised the feats of the President Kim Il Sung who brought up the Korean people to be a heroic people with strong independence.
The DPRK and the Korean people are well known to the world as a country and people with very strong independence, he said, and continued: The Korean people, once reduced to colonial slaves, retook their national dignity and honor and built their country into a strong country independent, self-supporting and self-reliant in national defence. This miracle could not be wrought without the leadership feats of Kim Il Sung.
He is a great man who trained the Korean people to be a people with strong independence and a heroic people who do not yield to difficulties and ordeals. Such a thing as his feats cannot be seen in history of any country for all ages. Just as Korea startled the world with the successful launching of an artificial satellite because it is guided by Kim Jong Il and its people have the strong spirit of independence, so it will imposingly rise up as a powerful nation before long and enjoy the highest praise of the world again.

S. Korean crewmen arrested

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Two crewmen of the South Korean ship Sindaejin enrolled at the Ryangpho port in Kyongju, North Kyongsang Province, attempted to come over to the North Korea on May 23, a Seoul-based radio reported. They were sailing northward for ten hours from the sea 130 miles east of the Taebo port, Phohang city. The South Korean police arrested them by invoking an evil law.

Legislation for "Japan-U.S. Defence Cooperation Guidelines"

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- With the legislation for implementing the "Japan-U.S. Defence Cooperation Guidelines" passed through the House of Councilors, Japan has come to retake the right of belligerency in fact and legally set out on overseas aggression on the plea of "cooperation" with the U.S. forces. Rodong Sinmun says this in a signed commentary today.
The paper goes on: The legislation allows the Japanese militarist forces to rush headlong along the road of exerting military influence upon the Asia-pacific region. Their first target is the Korean peninsula. "Emergencies" in areas surrounding Japan implies "emergencies" on the Korean peninsula and the first target of Japan's overseas aggression is Korea.
The Japanese reactionaries intend to stage a comeback to Korea that is closest to Japan and situated in a geopolitically, militarily and strategically important place, and to revive their colonial domination and use Korea as the bridgehead of their aggression on Asia.
That is why they have led the DPRK-Japan relations to warring relations, clamoring about "threat from North Korea" and they do not make apology and compensation for their past crimes. They will be well advised to ponder over the grave consequence to be entailed by their moves for reinvasion. Japan's reinvasion will only precipitate its destruction.

Scheme to frame up "coordinating organization"

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- The Japanese government on May 23 decided to frame up a "coordinating organization" to cope with the "emergencies in area surrounding Japan" and work out a concrete war plan of the "Self-Defence Forces" and the U.S. forces under simulated conditions of the "emergencies" on the Korean peninsula.
It was reported that the "coordinating organization" consists of U.S. troops in Japan and department directors of the Japanese Foreign Ministry, Defence Agency and other relevant ministries and agencies, under which a working team consisting of section chiefs of all the ministries and agencies will be organized.
Japan is going to place the central command post of the defence agency under the "Japan-U.S. joint coordinating center" which will be a "Japan-U.S. joint command". On this basis Japan, together with the United States, is scheming to round off the "mutual cooperation plan" for simulated "emergencies" on the Korean peninsula and unify "readiness for defence" and warring regulations on information gathering, alert and watch and stand-by alert.

Separatists' fascist suppression

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Minju Joson today denounces the South Korean authorities for arresting Pak Sung Dae, an inhabitant in Taejon city, by invoking the "National Security Law" for the mere reason that he mailed letters praising the North Korea to different places of the city some days ago.
The news analyst goes on: Deeply revering the great leader of the nation and praising the North Korea that is glorifying the dignity of the nation are feelings of each member of the nation, and mailing letters containing such feelings cannot be incriminated.
Through long experience of his life Pak Sung Dae has grasped the advantages of the anthropocentric socialist system in the North Korea and has realised that the "NSL" should be abolished, the U.S. aggression forces withdrawn from South Korea and the reunification of the country achieved. So, he tried to convey his feelings to others. How can this be a crime?
By arresting the patriotic inhabitant who conducted such righteous activity, the fascist ruling quarters of the "people's government" fully revealed themselves as a group of traitors who are getting frantic in anti-north confrontation and man-hunting.
