Declaration on situation calling for abolition of "NSL"
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The headquarters of all people's struggle for the complete abolition of the "National Security Law" of South Korea and foiling "security"-oriented suppression released a declaration on the situation calling for the total abolition of the "NSL" in Seoul on Thursday in the joint name of 19 public organizations including the south headquarters of the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification (Pomminryon) and the "National Alliance for Democracy and Reunification", according to a news report.
They said in the declaration that the "NSL" has no justification to exist any longer with the effectuation of the July 4 joint statement and the north-south agreement.
They vowed to struggle to make the fascist law totally abolished.
And they strongly urged the release of the head of the reunification vanguard, Jin Kwan, and the advisor to the south headquarters of Pomminryon, Ra Chang Sun, and others who were arrested on charges of violating the "NSL" for the mere reason that they participated in the August 15 pro-reunification function.
Suppression of pro-reunification patriots
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- A joint statement was released Friday by the north and overseas headquarters of the National Alliance of Youth and Students for the Country's Reunification (Pomchonghakryon) denouncing the South Korean authorities for arresting under the "National Security Law" Hwang Hye Ro, a representative of the South Korean Federation of university Student Councils (Hanchongryon) that represents the south Pomchonghakryon headquarters and other south side's representatives, when they returned to South Korea after visiting Pyongyang.
The statement said:
Such a fascist outrage of the South Korean rulers as arresting the south side's representatives, who attended the grand pro-reunification festival, on the "charge" of "sympathizing" with the north is a never-to-be-condoned crime of tearing the hearts of the fellow countrymen who have lived with the pains of national division for over half a century.
The South Korean rulers are persecuting the arrested pro-reunification patriots who visited Pyongyang, far from praising them. They are, indeed, the traitors to the nation and heinous fascists and splittist who should be condemned down through generations.
Youth and students at home and abroad will struggle more dynamically than ever before for the release of the pro-reunification patriots in the south and for the repeal of the "NSL", an anti-reunification evil law, the statement said, stressing the South Korean authorities should look squarely at the trend of times and set free the imprisoned pro-reunification patriots unconditionally and without delay.
U.S. urged to stop aggression and intervention
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun today runs an article by the national reunification institute on the lapse of 54 years since the U.S.'s military occupation of South Korea.
None of Koreans begged for the U.S.'s military occupation of South Korea, the article says, and goes on:
It is unbearable that the yankees trample underfoot the Korean people who are proud of a long history, culture and resourcefulness, lording it over in South Korea.
They occupied South Korea by force of arms taking the place of the Japanese imperialists after the latter's defeat. They have turned South Korea into their colony and hereditary estate, holding it in political, military, economic, cultural and all other leashes, an indication of a most malicious system of colonial domination.
The article cites facts to prove that in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s they, far from drawing a lesson from their ignominious defeat in the Korean War of aggression in the 1950s, have stepped up preparations for a war of aggression in a bid to invade the North Korea.
It documents that they have been a source of artificial division of the Korean nation and hindrance to the reunification of Korea.
It further says:
Korea would not have been divided, but its people would have long remained a reunified nation if it were not the yankees.
They divided Korea and obstructed its reunification by crook. That is their greatest crime in the world in the 20th century.
Humankind is reviewing the 1900s and seeing in the 2000s.
It is time the account was finally settled with the U.S. with its inglorious traces of aggression, plunder and murder. Hopefully, the Korean people are not permanently prejudiced against the U.S. as a sworn enemy. The U.S. must repent of its past wrongdoings and stop aggression and intervention in Korea.
S. Korean rulers hit for yielding to outside forces
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The South Korean rulers should drop flunkeyism, treachery and dependence on outside forces without delay, drawing due lessons from the miserable end which the preceding dictators met, condemned by the nation for their pro-American and pro-Japanese action.
The secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland said this in information bulletin no. 793 on Friday denouncing South Korean "Prime Minister" Kim Jong Pil for making pro-Japanese humiliating remarks, inviting Akihito to visit South Korea during his recent trip to Japan.
The bulletin said:
Kim Jong Pil, when meeting with Akihito, said that he invited the latter to visit South Korea at a convenient time, he would strive to create a favourable atmosphere to make the visit successful and Japan should lead Asia.
This is a heinous treacherous move to remain in power by flattering and yielding to the master and tide over the ruling crisis with the help of outsiders, which betrays the despicable flunkeyist and traitorous nature of the present South Korean rulers.
It is a treacherous act of openly going against the demand of the fellow countrymen for Japan's clear-cut apology, compensation and liquidation of the past that the South Korean rulers invited the Japanese "emperor" to visit South Korea despite the fact that the Korean people regard him as the mastermind of crimes and intend to make Japan pay for its crimes a hundred times.
Kim Jong Pil's utterance that Japan should lead Asia is nothing but a baloney that Japan should dominate and rule Asia. This shows the South Korean rulers' humiliating view on Japan.
KCNA on S. Korean "PM" Kim Jong Pil
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- South Korean "Prime Minister" Kim Jong Pil had a "talk" with a South Korean press corps during his recent visit to Japan, according to a news report. At the "talk" he, referring to Akihito's tour of South Korea, said that "South Korean people's anti-Japanese sentiment and concern for the north's terrorism should be placated".
This is stirring up the unanimous denunciation of the fellow countrymen as it is a mockery of the nation by a pro-Japanese person obsessed by flunkeyism and treachery.
Kim Jong Pil's visit to Japan itself is an anti-national criminal act. His outburst that the "anti-Japanese sentiment should be placated" fully reveals his nature as a dyed-in-the-wool pro-Japanese element who is steeped in flunkeyism toward Japan to the marrow of his bone.
All the Korean people, to say nothing of those in the north and the south, are trembling with the grievance and hatred for Japan, the sworn enemy, that has inflicted unheard-of sufferings and pains upon the Korean nation for the last one whole century, and they are growing stronger with the flow of the time and replacement of generations.
Kim Jong Pil's silly remarks calling for pacifying the sentiment against Japan that has imposed misfortunes upon the Korean people for 100 years and has not liquidated its past crimes till now can be made only by an arch traitor to the nation.
Some time ago, he let loose a string of balderdash that Japan "should lead Asia," only to be denounced by the nation. Nevertheless, he, losing his sense, called upon the fellow countrymen, the victims of Japan, to forget the criminal past of Japanese imperialism and have good sentiment toward it. He must be condemned by the nation.
What must not go unnoticed is the fact that such traitor to the nation raised a hue and cry over the "concern for the non-existent terrorism of the north."
Not content with floating the worn-out story about "north's terrorism" in South Korea, he peddled it in Japan.
His anti-north confrontation move is a never-to-be-condoned crime.
Such political philistine, traitor to the nation, who does harm to the fellow countrymen and trades off the interests and dignity of the nation, obsessed by flunkeyism and treachery, must be dislodged without fail.

The deputy prime minister extended warm congratulations to the Korean people on the DPRK foundation day and wished them more shining victory in socialist construction and in the cause of national reunification under the leadership of the great Marshal Kim Jong Il.
Foreigners visit DPRK embassies
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The delegation of the Khmer Combatants Party for Mulinaka and Liberty of Cambodia led by its chairman and Candelaria Rodriguez, a woman lawyer of Cuba, visited the DPRK embassies in their countries on September 4 on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the founding of the DPRK.
They laid floral baskets before the portraits of the President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and paid homage to them.
The head of the delegation said that though the U.S. has increased more than ever before the political and military pressure upon the DPRK to stifle its socialism, it cannot venture on an attack against the DPRK. It is because the DPRK holds Marshal Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the supreme leader, he added.
The woman lawyer of Cuba noted that the great leaders President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il have led the party, army and people to be a model for the world.
Kim Jong Il is brilliantly carrying to completion the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by the President, true to the behest of the President.
Indefinite hunger strike of S. Korean priests
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Over 20 priests of South Korean Catholic Priests' Council for Justice including father Mun Kyu Hyon called a press conference at the Myongdong Cathedral on Thursday and called for immediate abolition of the anachronistic "National Security Law" which infringes upon human rights, according to a radio report from Seoul.
They had their hair cut close as a token of protest and went on an indefinite hunger strike.
Detailed report on history of Aug. 15 Pan-National Rally
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The Korean Central News Agency Wednesday made public a detailed report on the decadal history of the pan-national rally in order to let history and posterity know about the true features of patriotism and treachery recorded in the pan-national reunification movement in the 1990s.
The detailed report said:
The past ten years were a historic period during which the most fair and reasonable line and proposal for national reunification were agreed upon and confirmed and the pro-reunification patriotic forces at home and abroad were crowned with victory.
The historic pan-national rally opened at Panmunjom on August 15, 1990, 45 years after the division of the territory.
The pan-national rally swelled as a more grand festival for national reunification on August 15, 1995 and the 10th pan-national rally this year was a nation-wide function for reunification which achieved three-way unity of delegates of all pro-reunification patriotic organisations in the north, the south and abroad.
The report referred to colorful political and cultural functions held on more than 200 occasions during the pan-national rallies in the past ten years and to pan-national pro-reunification functions held in the south and abroad.
Through the August 15 reunification rallies held without letup in the decade the pro-reunification patriotic forces in the north, the south and abroad demonstrated the justness of the reunification line and movement based on the three charters of national reunification and the will of the 70 million fellow countrymen for reunification, recording a brilliant chapter in the history of the national reunification movement, the report stressed, and went on:
The pan-national movement for reunification in the decade brought to light the reactionary nature of the splittist line and moves of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad.
Although the regime of South Korea was replaced three times, August 15 reunification functions have never been held peacefully and the suppression of the August 15 reunification movement has become more hideous and craftier after the appearance of the present regime.
All the facts historically prove that the stand toward the three principles of national reunification which the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification and other pro-reunification patriotic forces at home and abroad regard as their action program is a touchstone that distinguishes reunification from anti-reunification and the justest reunification program of our fellow countrymen. The facts give a serious lesson that any dialogue or compromise with those who turn aside from the principles will only result in delaying the fellow countrymen's cause of reunification.
Through the August 15 pan-national rallies for reunification in the past decade the pro-reunification patriotic forces of the Korean nation have grown up to be a powerful driving force of national reunification that can neither be destroyed nor be stamped out.
UN efforts for peace in Korea urged
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The Finnish Solidarity Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification on September 1 issued an appeal regarding the 54th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The appeal said that the government of Finland, the chair-country of the European Union, should do its best to treat the DPRK and South Korea on an equal footing at the 54th session of the UN General Assembly proceeding from the principles that the north and south of Korea may choose their political and economic system independently.
It noted that the United Nations should do its best to ensure a durable peace in the Korean peninsula.
It urged the 54th session of the UN General Assembly and all UN member nations to pay a special attention to the development of the situation in the Korean peninsula and take a substantial measure for a peaceful solution to the confrontation between the north and south of Korea.
Kim Jong Suk, peerlessly great woman
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Alba Chavez, a dean of a faculty of Guayaquil university in Ecuador, published an article titled "woman commander of Korea Kim Jong Suk is peerlessly great woman" in praise of the greatness of Kim Jong Suk, who was a communist revolutionary fighter.
The article says:
I had looked for a true model of woman for a long time, who would inspire and lead me to the road of justice and a worthy life and at last found a great model in Korea. There is in socialist Korea where the sun of Juche is shining the supreme paragon for all women, mothers and revolutionaries in the world, a peerlessly great woman Kim Jong Suk.
Greatness of Kim Jong Suk is characterized by an absolute loyalty to the great leader of the people.
She was possessed of all traits and qualities a famous commander, a great woman would have such as rare resources, matchless courage, strong faith and sense of obligation, fervent humanity and marksmanship never missing target, which stemmed from her loyalty.
I was deeply moved by the self-sacrificing spirit displayed by her in the struggle to defend the headquarters of the revolution.
Her loyalty and dedication to President Kim Il Sung made the sun of Juche shine on this planet and guaranteed the victorious advance of the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence.
Touching on Kim Jong Suk's rare resources, matchless courage and outstanding quality, the article notes that many slogans written on trees found in mountains of Korea represent the resources and courage of the woman commander.
She was a great woman who was possessed of noblest traits as a human being and a woman as well as a typical woman.
Everybody could not but be fascinated by her warm humanity shown for others.
Her unbounded modesty and simplicity was part of her distinguished traits. She was, indeed, a most famous commander of the commanders, a most genuine human being and a peerlessly great woman.
Marshal Kim Jong Il, who is leading socialist Korea, has been inspired by the great mother Kim Jong Suk, the article says, noting the mother is, indeed, alive in the hearts of the Marshal and the people.
"Three Kims" must be dislodged
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Hong Nam Jin, a South Korean professor of politics, published an article headlined "three Kims must be dislodged," Seoul-based radio Voice of National Salvation reported.
Noting that the politics of "three Kims"--"President" Kim Dae Jung, "Prime Minister" Kim Jong Pil and former "president" Kim Young Sam of South Korea--is reviving, the article exposed their crimes.
These three Kims should go to hell and a true politics representing the people's will should be administered, it said, and went on:
Kim Jong Pil who was known as the chief architect of "Yusin" played a leading role in the May 16 "military coup" under the manipulation of the United States. Acting the first "director of the central intelligence agency," he committed all sorts of crimes and took treacherous actions to perpetuate the division of the nation and bar the reunification of the country.
Kim Young Sam won an illfame as a political charlatan and political prostitute well versed in the art of disguise from his days of opposition party. During the tenure of his office he turned South Korea into a graveyard of human rights, a barren land of democracy and made the South Korean economy fall prey to foreign monopoly capital.
Far from expressing condolences over the unexpected biggest loss to the nation, he leveled guns at the weeping mourners. He is the villain without an equal in the world.
Kim Dae Jung is a fascist, flunkeyist, traitor and enemy of reunification who is not inferior to the two other Kims.
No sooner had he taken power than he made South Korea increasingly dependent on the United States and sold off Tok Islet, part of our territory, and a golden fishing ground to Japan, vociferating about "cooperation" with the United States and Japan.
He is an anti-reunification element who declared the north as the "principal enemy" and is scheming to allure and absorb the north with the "sunshine policy".
It is these "three Kims" who have made a mess of all domains of South Korean society including politics, economy and culture.
The revival of the ruinous politics of "three Kims" should be checked and a true politics representing the demand and aspiration of the people be administered at an early date.
