Japan urged to stop its moves for reinvasion

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries intend to review their involvement in the "RIMPAC" joint military exercise participated in by their huge aggressor forces and escalate it into a more bellicose one in future.
Japan is well advised to think twice of what serious consequences its reckless moves for overseas aggression will entail, Minju Joson today says in a signed article, and continues:
"RIMPAC" is a factor of aggravating the situation on the Korean peninsula and in the Asia-Pacific region.
Japan's daredevil moves for overseas aggression and its conversion into a military power clearly indicate that its talk about "peace," "dialogue" and "improvement of relations," etc, is a height of hypocrisy and shamelessness.
Japan should know that if Japan unsheathes its sword to embark upon reinvasion of Asia, this will only lead it to a complete self-destruction.
Japan's wild dream of Asian reinvasion can never come true.
Japan should bear this in mind and halt its reckless moves for reaggression at once.

Jo Song Thae's remarks flayed

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- Jo Song Thae, "Minister of National Defence" of South Korea, again revealed his true colors as an element against the nation and reunification.
At the "national defence panel meeting of the interim national assembly" on June 22, he let loose a string of absurd remarks that "a perfect security posture served as a basis of leading the inter-Korean summit talks to a good fruition." He went the length of saying that "there is no change in the basic stand of the army which considers North Korea as the principal enemy".
His sinister remarks are an anti-national, anti-reunification crime as they are aimed at playing down the success of the historic Pyongyang meeting and inter-Korean summit talks and obstructing the implementation of the north-south joint declaration.
Now all the fellow countrymen are absolutely supporting the historic north-south joint declaration as a landmark of national reunification, and it is hailed by the countries concerned and various countries of the world.
It was against this backdrop that Jo Song Thae again clamored about "the principal enemy," the terminology which was arbitrarily crafted before the publication of the inter-Korean joint declaration. This shows that he is persistently clinging to the line of north-south confrontation.
By nature Jo made outbursts getting nerves on the north and vitiating the atmosphere of inter-Korean summit talks after the publication of the April 8 north-south agreement only to stir up furore.
In late may, too, he went to Japan where he clamored about "cooperation" with the United States and Japan and "military cooperation and exchange" with them in a bid to cope with the inter-Korean summit talks, thus throwing a wet blanket over the atmosphere of the talks. This fact goes to prove that he is a military gangster ignorant of the trend of the times and the desire of the people at home and abroad and, at the same time, a person whom the nation found undesirable.
Such anti-reunification element as Jo Song Thae should be thrown overboard to achieve the reunification of the country, the supreme desire of the nation.
The South Korean authorities should ponder over the adverse impact the outbursts of such anti-national, anti-reunification elements as Jo will have on the development of the north-south relations.
We will certainly make such fanatics advocating confrontation with the north as Jo Song Thae pay for their crimes.
