Anniversary of Kalun meeting observed
Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- The Korean revolution will always advance along the road of Juche, says Rodong Sinmun today in an editorial devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Kalun meeting guided by the President Kim Il Sung.
The meeting occupies a special place in the history of the Worker's Party of Korea and the Korean revolution as the principle of the Juche idea was clarified and the Juche-oriented line of the Korean revolution set forth for the first time at the meeting, the editorial says, and goes on:
The principle of the Juche idea and the revolutionary lines laid down at the meeting came to serve as the lifeline of the country and the nation because they put an end to the preceding national liberation movement which was moving hither and thither without a correct guiding idea and indicated the way for the Korean revolution to dynamically advance along the track of Juche.
The editorial calls for invariably holding aloft the banner of Juche which has been lifted high since the beginning of the Korean revolution no matter how much water may flow under the bridge and no matter how the conditions and circumstances of the revolutionary struggle may change.
Herein lie the source of sure victory of the Korean revolution and a firm guarantee for the final triumph of the revolutionary cause of Juche, it adds.
The seven decades since the Kalun meeting are a proud history in which the Juche idea has been fully embodied in all fields of the revolution and construction and a glorious course in which the unbreakable unity and cohesion of the revolutionary ranks have been achieved on the basis of the revolutionary idea of the leader, the editorial notes, and goes on:
The Korean revolution has covered a long way to reach the high eminence of building a powerful nation but the spirit of the Kalun meeting has been steadfastly carried forward.
The struggle of the worker's party and people of Korea to fully embody the Juche idea in all fields of the revolution and construction has reached a new, higher phase under the energetic leadership of the respected Kim Jong Il.
The path of Juche indicated by President Kim Il Sung at the Kalun meeting is the most right path of victory and glory to be followed by the worker's party and people of Korea till the ultimate victory of the revolutionary cause of Korea.
There can be no other way but the road of Juche for the worker's party and people of Korea.
The Korean revolution, which was started and has dynamically advanced along the path illumined by the Juche idea, will surely achieve its ultimate victory under the banner of this idea in the future, too.
