Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's work commemorated
Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il's historic work on modeling the whole society on the Juche idea by radically improving and strengthening the party work published on August 2, 1974 serves as a precious guideline to be held fast to by all party organizations in the ongoing dynamic drive to build a powerful country, says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article.
The ideas and theories laid down in the work clearly proved valid and vital in practice over the last 26 years, the article notes, and goes on:
A great vitality of the work lies in that the Worker's Party of Korea has developed to be a revolutionary party of Juche type that fully embodies the idea and intention of General Secretary Kim Il Sung.
Elucidated in the work are theoretical and practical problems which should be settled to strengthen and develop the party into a party of the leader including the issue of training all the officials and party members into elite revolutionaries boundlessly faithful to Kim Il Sung and conducting the party building and activities based on his ideas, theories and methods, etc.
The WPK took on fresh new looks as a result of the successful embodiment of these ideas and theories.
All the activities of the WPK are organized and conducted exactly as President Kim Il Sung intended and did in his lifetime.
The validity and vitality of this work also lie in that the political and ideological unity and cohesion of the WPK have grown stronger than ever before.
Kim Jong Il in his work set forth specific tasks to ensure the purity of the party ranks and strengthen and develop the WPK into an invincible, united and revolutionary one and ways for their fulfillment.
The "arduous march" and forced march represented a proud course which demonstrated the unbreakable unity and cohesion of the WPK.
The validity and vitality of the work has been also proved by the fact that the anti-Japanese guerrilla style of work has been fully introduced to the whole party to bring in a fresh turn in the method of party work.
The article calls for exerting great efforts on firmly building up the ranks of the party and revolution and increasing its militancy under the uplifted banner of modeling the whole party on the Juche idea.
Thorough implementation of calls of C. C. of WPK urged
Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- Papers here today editorially call on all the people to make a general advance in hearty response to the calls of the Central Committee of the Worker's Party of Korea published with the approach of its 55th anniversary.
The basic spirit of the calls lies in that the whole party and army and all the people should make a general charge to greet the 55th anniversary of the WPK as a great festival of victors and thus pave a new wide avenue for building a powerful nation, says Rodong Sinmun, the organ of the Central Committee of the WPK.
It continues:
To carry through the calls represents a sacred struggle to fully demonstrate the might of single-hearted unity of the WPK, the army and people rallied close around the great Kim Jong Il.
55 years of the WPK have clearly proved that if all the people are single-heartedly united around the party and leader in thought and purpose, morality and sense of obligation, they can beat any formidable enemy and there is nothing impossible for them.
To thoroughly implement the calls is a worthwhile drive to fully demonstrate the indomitable stamina and heroic spirit of the Korean people who are making uninterrupted innovations and advance to achieve final victory despite whatever difficulties. It is the most honorable task before the party members and other working people to creditably discharge their mission and duty in this general advance as soldiers and disciples of Kim Jong Il.
The whole party and army and all the people should devotedly defend the headquarters of the revolution headed by Kim Jong Il, deeply grasp the greatness of his unique army-first politics and hold fast to the army-first revolutionary line as an invariable strategic line of the Korean revolution.
Victory is in store for us as long as there are his wise leadership and the correct line and policies of the experienced and seasoned WPK, the paper stresses, calling for more dynamically accelerating the general advance for building a powerful nation in hearty response to the calls of the WPK Central Committee.
Minju Joson, the organ of the presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in an editorial calls on all the party members, working people and servicemen of the people's army to greet the 55th anniversary of the WPK as a great festival of victors true to the calls and thus demonstrate once again the heroic spirit of Korea of Juche, Kim Il Sung's nation.
