U.S. airforce planes' unabated bombing exercise
Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- U.S. airforce planes based in South Korea, Japan proper and Okinawa were reported to have frequently flown for bombing exercises in the firing range in Maehyang-ri, Hwasong county, Kyonggi Province, according to New Korea Times issued by Koreans in Canada.
The Maehyang-ri exercise ground is "equipped with facilities capable of promptly showing results of any bomb dropping or firing drill" by a U.S. plane and there are a few drill grounds in Asia which have such facilities, the paper added.
Referring to the aggressive and dangerous nature of the Maehyang-ri exercise ground, the paper said that U.S. airforce pilots can display their capabilities in various forms not only on the Korean peninsula but in the gulf region, central America and east Europe.
Home-visiting group of Korean residents in Japan leaves for Seoul
Tokyo, November 18 (KNS-KCNA) -- The second home-visiting group of compatriots under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) left Tokyo by air on November 17.
The group headed by chairman Choe Pyong Jo of the financial committee of Chongryon who is a member of Chongryon central standing committee, comprises 105 compatriots of the first generation, 10 suite members and 4 reporters.
It was seen off at the airport by Chongryon officials and their families and relatives.
The group arrived in Seoul on the same day.
WPK praised as ever-victorious party
Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Leaders of progressive political parties of various countries are unanimous in praising the Worker's Party of Korea as an ever-victorious party which has achieved the single-hearted unity of the leader, the party and masses for the first time in the history of working-class party building.
Peter Persuad, leader of the Amerindian Action Movement of Guyana, said that the WPK has grown stronger and developed to be a party which fully ensures the monolithic idea and leadership, the first of its kind in the history of building working class parties, an ever-victorious party which achieved the single-hearted unity of the leader, the party and masses and an experienced and tested party which firmly defends the bulwark of socialism.
Randriamvao Mahubazakasoa Max Halbari, general secretary of the United Party of Struggle of Madagascar, said that the WPK is an invincible party which firmly united the working people around the leader and a seasoned party which created a model to win the victory in the socialist cause and reliably defends the socialist bastion.
Chairman Thomas French and general secretary Pat Quearney of the Ireland Labour Party said that under the correct guidance of the WPK wisely guided by general secretary Kim Jong Il the Korean people could successfully overcome unprecedented difficulties created by the imperialists' protracted provocative military and economic blockade and serious natural disasters that lasted for several consecutive years.
The great successes achieved by the DPRK in the struggle for socialist construction and the peaceful reunification of the country clearly prove the validity of the line and policies set forth by the WPK, he added.
Rashed Khan Menon, general secretary of the central committee of the Worker's Party of Bangladesh, said: The WPK set a fine example to be followed by all the countries and peoples that sincerely wish to build a working-class revolutionary party under the banner of independence and proletarian internationalism. The shining successes made by the WPK show all of us the way of party construction, he noted.
DPRK praised as greatest country
Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- The video tape "the Mass Gymnastic Display and Artistic Performance 'Ever-victorious Worker's Party of Korea' Marking the 55th Anniversary of the WPK" was shown in the building of the United Party of Struggle of Madagascar on November 13.
At the end of the show the general secretary of the party said that the mass gymnastic display and artistic performance convinced him that the history of the WPK will shine forever as the history of the President Kim Il Sung in the 21st century, too, as the leader Kim Jong Il is carrying forward the cause of Juche.
Watching the video tape I could clearly realize who is the organizer and leader of the victory of socialism in the 21st century and the greatest country is the DPRK and its people are the greatest people in the 20th century, he added.
DPRK ambassador to Egypt appointed
Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Jang Myong Son was appointed as Ambassador E. P. of the DPRK to the Arab Republic of Egypt, according to a decree of the presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.
