U.S. urged to opt for its forces' pullback from S. Korea

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The withdrawal of the U.S. forces from South Korea is a prerequisite for national reunification because Korea was divided by their occupation of South Korea and they are still present there, says Minju Joson today in a signed article. It urges the united states to opt for an early withdrawal of its forces from South Korea.
    It goes on:
If the U.S. forces had not occupied South Korea, Korea would not have been divided into the north and the south and the issue of reunification would not have cropped up.
Hard historical facts prove that the U.S. forces' occupation of South Korea was the root cause of the Korea's division.
If the U.S. forces pull out of South Korea and stop obstructing Korea's reunification, the Korean nation is fully capable of achieving the country's reunification by its own efforts.
Those who love the country and the nation are turning out in a vigorous struggle to force the U.S. forces to pull out of South Korea.
There is neither ground nor pretext for the U.S. to keep its forces in South Korea.

Japan's dangerous move for overseas aggression assailed

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun today in a signed commentary denounces the chief executive of Japan for working hard to revise the constitution in a bid to legislate on the reorganization of the "Self-Defense Forces" (SDF) into an "army". His proposal to revise the constitution signifies one formal step toward the practical moves to replace the "peace constitution" by a war constitution and legalize the moves for aggression and war, the commentary says, and goes on:
The three services of Japan's armed forces going in the guise of the SDF in order not to give the impression that they are an "army" have grown to be the world's leading armed forces of aggression. After the adoption of the law related to the "U.S.-Japan defence cooperation guideline" the SDF has regained the right to participate in war and the right of belligerency. Japan, a military power, is getting all the more arrogant. The only stumbling block lying in its way is the present constitution which bans the use of armed forces.
The proposal made by the chief executive of Japan is aimed to legally allow Japan to keep huge regular modern combat forces and use them as it wishes under the pretext of the "state security and interests " and demonstrate their might before the world. It is now trying to display its "skill" with the surprise attacks on the U.S. and its retaliation operation as a momentum.
But Japan's reckless moves for overseas aggression are little short of digging its own grave.

Japan's rash act assailed

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Korean social scientists society today issued a statement denouncing the Tokyo district prosecutors' office and the metropolitan police office of Japan for searching Juche idea study organizations and confiscating their materials. The statement said:
On October 5 the Tokyo district prosecutors' office and the metropolitan police office of Japan let some 60 policemen search all at once the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI), the house of its secretary general and seven units associated with the Japan society for the study of Kimilsungism, the society for independence and other Japanese organizations for the study of the Juche idea and took away more than 100 pieces of materials.
The Juche idea study organizations in Japan have studied and disseminated the immortal Juche idea whose truth and vitality have been clearly proved worldwide, and conducted activities for solidarity with the Korean people.
The Japanese authorities that have regarded this as a thorn in their flesh resorted to an undisguised crackdown upon them on the groundless charge of "violation of the passport act" by a person related to the "Yodo" airliner, thus fully revealing once again their hostile policy toward the DPRK.
Their reckless suppression of the progressive idea and persons are a wanton challenge to the just cause of the people for world peace and independence and an anachronistic rash act of the reactionaries of history to block the Juche idea from being studied and disseminated.
What is more intolerable is that they took away even the diploma and gold medal for International Kim Il Sung Prize which were awarded to the secretary general of the IIJI by the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council.
The prize was instituted by the world progressives in high praise of President Kim Il Sung who fathered the Juche idea and performed immortal feats in accomplishing the human cause of independence, and this prize is awarded to those who made distinguished contributions to the global independence and peace by advocating this idea.
The Korean people and social scientists and the Juche idea followers of the world are expressing irrepressible bitter resentment at the Japanese authorities who were so indiscreet as to take away the highly dignified prize.
The Japanese authorities must stop at once such rash act as ignoring the need of the era and wholly own the responsibility for the ensuing consequences.
