Yemeni figure refers to his Korea visit
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Ali Mohammed Al-Olafi, secretary general of the Yemen-Korea Friendship Association and editor of the Yemeni paper As-Rai Al-Aam who participated in the commemorations of the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, gave his impressions of the DPRK on May 29.
I deeply felt that no force on earth can match the great might of the singleheartedly united Korean people, he said, stressing:
I am convinced again that the Korean people will certainly defeat the United States under the army-based leadership of Kim Jong Il because they are firmly united around him.

U.S. urged to drop reckless war scenario
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Minju Joson today in a signed commentary slams the recently disclosed top secret war scenario dubbed "sledge hammer" worked out by the U.S. Department of Defense in a bid to escalate the "anti-terrorism" war.
The commentary says:
The U.S. is working hard to overthrow independent countries by mobilizing huge armed forces under the pretext of "combating terrorism" and establish an order favorable to it. This is a brigandish act of aggression and means state terrorism.
It is busy staging computer mock exercises pursuant to the top secret war scenario.
It is as clear as noonday what disastrous consequences will be entailed by these reckless moves.
The U.S. bellicose forces formally listed the DPRK, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, China and Russia as the targets of their nuclear attacks. This is little short of making the U.S. use of nuclear weapons in the "anti-terrorism war" an established fact.
The U.S. self-justified and high-handed practices can never go down with the DPRK.
The U.S. bellicose forces' attempt to ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK compels it to take corresponding countermeasures. The right to take an option does not reside with the U.S. only.
The U.S. is seriously mistaken if it thinks it can overrun other countries with a military edge over them. The U.S. is well advised to face up to the reality and give up its reckless attempt.
