Korean People's Cause of Justice Supported

Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- The Asia-Pacific regional meeting of the World Peace Council was held in New Delhi on Sept. 20 and 21. Decision of South Korean National Assembly Blasted

Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland issued information bulletin No. 850 on Sept. 26 as regards the decision made by the "Cultural and Tourist Committee" of the south Korean National Assembly on Sept 25 to visit Pyongyang and Kaesong along the Seoul-Sinuiju land route from October 6 to 9 and make a "state policy inspection regarding the north". It is preposterous and impudent for the sycophantic traitorous political charlatans to dare watch and inspect the independent and dignified DPRK as they are bereft of any philosophy, dignity and sovereignty, the bulletin said, and went on:
We have never invited the Cultural and Tourist Committee of the south Korean National Assembly to visit the north nor had any intention to do so. And the Seoul-Sinuiju land route is not the road available for it any time it wishes for Pyongyang visit.
The south Korean National Assembly should clearly know that the land routes on the east and west coasts that have been relinked for the first time in the history of national division are available only for those persons and organizations that truly love the country and the nation and desire the reunification of the country, not for those who are opposed to national unity and cooperation.
The south Korean National Assembly should face up to the reality today when the whole nation is dynamically advancing to achieve independent reunification by its concerted efforts under the banner of the June 15 joint declaration, behave with discretion and apologize for its crimes.
We will never allow those who go against the national unity and reunification and those who are keen on confrontation between compatriots to enter the territory of our side even 0.001 mm.

Japan's Political Bargaining Dismissed

Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- The Japanese government reiterated its stand on September 19 that it would not resume talks on normalizing relations with the DPRK unless the issue of abduction is settled. Rodong Sinmun today in a signed commentary dismisses this as a despicable move to wrest a sort of political concession from the DPRK while putting up the solution to the issue of abduction as a precondition for the normalization of the bilateral relations.
Disclosing Japan's intention to evade its responsibility to redeem its past under the pretext of the issue of abduction and keep its past crimes buried into oblivion, the commentary goes on:
The DPRK has lived and achieved steady progress in the absence of diplomatic relations with Japan for more than half a century. It is good to see the hostile relations between the two countries terminated and diplomatic relations established between them. But even if this does not happen the DPRK has no reason to worry about it. The Japanese ruling quarters should know well that the normalization of the relations between the two countries can by no means serve the purpose of meeting their political interests.
The fact that the Japanese government insists on the issue of abduction as its main policy regarding its diplomacy towards the DPRK and as a precondition for the normalization of DPRK-Japan relations goes to prove that Japan is not interested in the implementation of the DPRK-Japan Pyongyang Declaration and, on the contrary, regards it troublesome.
Japan's violation of the declaration only pushes the bilateral relations to a grave phase of confrontation and jeopardizes peace and security in the region. This would be harmful to Japan, too.
Japan had better liquidate its crime-woven past as early as possible and stop employing a sleight of hand in dealing with the issue.
It should discard such wrong way of thinking as regarding the normalization of the bilateral relations as a "benefit" and "present" to be given to the DPRK.

KCNA Refutes Rumsfeld's Anti-DPRK Vituperation

Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- U.S. Defense Secretary Rumsfeld reportedly let loose a string of malignant vituperation against the DPRK at a luncheon hosted by the Association of U.S. and South Korean Businessmen. He told nonsense that it is necessary to make sure that the rays of freedom reach the oppressed north Koreans, asserting that a satellite photo shows the rays of freedom on one part of the Korean peninsula and the darkness of dictatorship on the other part of it and communism is shaking on its own.
These unsavory remarks intended to tarnish the image of the dignified DPRK and destroy its steel-strong political system are touching off towering indignation of the Koreans and evoking their stronger anti-Americanism.
His remarks only go to prove that he is just an old man politically illiterate as he can not measure up the present reality when all the countries are promoting peaceful co-existence, reconciliation and cooperation irrespective of ideologies and beliefs.
It is not likely at all that he would speak truth as he is obsessed with wantonly harassing peace and security in different parts of the world and igniting wars. His outbursts, therefore, can not be construed otherwise than a desperate shrill cry of a psychopath on his death bed.
Rumsfeld whose political faith is to establish the U.S. style world order by strength is known to be a typical stupid man for professing "neo-conservatism" censured and mocked at worldwide. He is, therefore, not a guy who the DPRK can deal with.
Rumsfeld asserted with acrimony that one who does not follow the U.S. view on value can never coexist with it but must die. One can easily assess the political line of the Bush administration which includes such a dangerous international dictator as that guy
It is only the U.S.which has the right to judge the international justice, its sovereignty remains supreme and that of those countries challenging the U.S. view on value must be overthrown. This is what Rumsfeld, a principal proponent of the U.S. theory of neo-conservatism, advocates. He is cursed and hated worldwide for this.
The policy pursued by the U.S. neo-conservatives to hold hegemony over the world and steadily increase their unchallenged control over the international issues is rejected in different parts of the world for its reactionary and anachronistic nature. It is considered to be trash of history.
This is clearly proved by the U.S. Iraq policy which has gone totally bankrupt.
It is true that the DPRK has economic difficulties. But that is attributable to the economic blockade and sanctions imposed by the U.S. pursuant to its decades-long hostile policy toward the DPRK.
These difficulties are temporary and there are ways to cross over them.
The DPRK has its socialist system of its own style chosen by its people themselves and a solid economic foundation and strong potentials they have created for scores of years with much effort.
No smear campaign can ever keep the DPRK from going its own way with strong pluck and faith in sure victory.

Telephone Message to S. Korean Chief Delegate to Inter-Korean Ministerial Talks

Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Ryong Song, head of the north side to the North-South Ministerial Talks, today sent a telephone message to Jong Se Hyon, chief delegate of the south side as regards the decision of the Cultural and Tourist Committee of the south Korean National Assembly to make a "state policy inspection regarding the north". The message says:
As you know, the Cultural and Tourist Committee of the south Korean National Assembly made public its decision to make a "state policy inspection regarding the north" from October 6 to 9.
We can not but take a serious note of this as this is an intolerable mockery of the dignity of the DPRK, an unpardonable infringement upon its sovereignty and an act of overturning the basis of the north-south agreement upon which both sides promised each other to recognize and respect each other's system.
The National Assembly of your side is seriously mistaken, gripped by a reckless and senseless way of thinking.
Their rash acts in the south have now reached such phase that they are unable to discern the dignified DPRK from their own land in the south. Your National Assembly should immediately withdraw the unreasonable measure taken to insult and infringe upon the north's sovereignty and overturn the foundation of the inter-Korean relations and formally apologize for it.
If your National Assembly does not take such step, that will bring irrevocably serious consequences to the inter-Korean relations and your side will be fully accountable for them.
