Aphorisms of Kim Jong Il Carried in Internet Homepage

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The U.S. Group for the Study of the Songun Politics carried more than 100 aphorisms of leader Kim Jong Il in Internet homepage "Research room on red sun of militant socialism of Juche" on January 25. The group introduced to over 30 progressive Web Sites of the U.S. and other regions of the world aphorisms compiled in book form under the title "Treasured sword of Songun sun; aphorisms of the great Marshal Kim Jong Il" and an article explaining his greatness so that anyone may print and read them.

February 16 Celebrated in Foreign Countries

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Celebration meetings were held in Moscow, Canar Province of Ecuador and Dubreka Region of Guinea on February 2 and 4 on the occasion of the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il. Alexandr Krutov, secretary of the Moscow City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, said in a speech:
    Kim Jong Il wisely leads the DPRK along the road of victory with his patriotic politics, Songun politics which serves as an all-powerful treasured sword for the building of a great prosperous powerful socialist nation and the defense of the country.
    Thanks to his Songun diplomatic resources the international prestige of the DPRK is rising as the days go by. The number of those people who boundlessly respect and revere him is increasing in many countries around the world.
    The governor of Canar Province of Ecuador in a speech stressed:
    Kim Jong Il has led the struggle of the Korean people and the revolutionary people of the world for national sovereignty and independence along the road of victory under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and now converted the DPRK into a powerful nation with his outstanding politics rare in the world.

Floral Basket to Kim Jong Il

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il received a floral basket from Khamtay Siphandone, chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on the occasion of his birthday. It was conveyed to an official concerned by Chanpheng Sihaphom, Laotian ambassador e. p. to the DPRK, yesterday.

Large Bunch of Flowers to Kim Jong Il

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il received a large bunch of flowers from Pervez Musharraf, president of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in the run-up to February 16, his birthday. It was handed to an official concerned by Ahmed Hussain Dayo, charge d'Affaires ad Interim of the Pakistani embassy here, on February 11.

Korea's Reunification Supported

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Tassos Papadopoulos, president of the Republic of Cyprus, when receiving credentials from Jon Hui Jong, new DPRK ambassador e.p. to Cyprus, on February 6, said that the two countries have suffered from division and supported the struggle for the reunification with each other. Cyprus hopes that Korea's reunification would be achieved as early as possible, he added.
    Noting that the relations between the two countries have steadily developed in the common interests, he expressed the readiness to develop the relations in various fields in the future, too.

Preparatory Committee Formed in Indonesia

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The Indonesian Soekarno Foundation for Education inaugurated a preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Sun and February 16, the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il, on February 5 with its President Rachmawati Soekarnoputri as chairman of the committee. The committee set the days from February 5 to April 16 as a commemorative period.

Film Show and Friendly Meeting Held

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A film show and a friendly meeting were held at Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on February 11 in honor of officials in charge of cultural and friendly relations of various embassies here on the occasion of the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il. Present there were Mun Jae Chol, acting chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Jo Chan Gu, vice-minister of Culture, officials concerned and movie actors and actresses.

Concert of Koreans in U.S.

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A concert of Koreans in the United States for celebrating February 16 was held in New York on Feb.1 on the occasion of the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il. In the audience were Ri Jun Mu, chairman of the Culture and Art Committee of the Federation of Koreans in the U.S., officials of regional compatriots' organizations and compatriots, more than 350 in all.
    Present on invitation were the permanent representative and officials of the DPRK mission at the United Nations.
    Put on the stage were orchestras "Song of General Kim Jong Il" and "Thunder on Jong Il Peak", a tenor "Mt. Paektu Is Cradle of Revolution", a soprano "I Know It Now" and other colorful numbers.

Commemorative Stamps Published

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The Korea Stamp Corporation published two　kinds of commemorative postage stamps (a sheetlet and a piece stamp) on the　occasion of the February holiday. Written on the top of the sheetlet "Four Seasons of Jong Il Peak" with the　snow covered peak and its surroundings on the background are the letters　"Commemorating the Birthday of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il", "Juche　31 (1942)" and "Juche 93 (2004)". Seen in its lower part are the spring　scenery of Sobaek Stream meandering before the old home in the secret camp　of Mt. Paektu where Kim Jong Il was born, the grand summer scenery on Jong　Il Peak, the autumn scenery of the thick forest of Mt. Paektu and the　moonlit night scene in winter with snow on the branches of trees.
    In the piece stamp is the sublime old home in the secret camp of Mt. Paektu　in a beautiful snow-covered scene against the background of Jong Il　Peak.

National Photo Exhibition Opens

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A national photo exhibition opened at the People's Palace of Culture on Feb. 11 to celebrate February 16, the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il. Displayed at the exhibition hall under the titles "Modeling the whole society on the Juche idea is the supreme programme of our party", "Long live the glorious Songun revolutionary idea of our party" and "In the spirit of work and struggle displayed in the 1970s" are at least 170 photos showing the immortal revolutionary exploits Kim Jong Il performed by leading the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean revolution to victory for 40 years since his start of work at the WPK Central Committee.
    Present at the opening ceremony were Jong Ha Chol, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang.

Books "Brilliant Sun" and "Human Emancipation and Juche Idea" Published abroad

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A book "Brilliant Sun" written by a professor of history at Marien Ngouabi University of Congo and a book "Human Emancipation and Juche Idea" written by a professor at Kinshasa University of Democratic Congo were brought out by a publishing and disseminating office of Democratic Congo in the run-up to February 16, the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il. The book "Brilliant Sun" consists of 13 chapters including "The Great Son of Guerrillas", "The Growth of Great Man", "The Illustrious Commander Born of Heaven Who Has Trained the Matchless Army", "Kim Jong Il, the Leader of the 21st Century" and "The Locomotive Running in Asian Continent".
    The author in the book cited detailed facts to prove that Kim Jong Il was born on Mt. Paektu and grew up with the traits and qualification as the leader of the people and turned the DPRK into an independent and dignified socialist power by leading the revolution and construction to victory for 40 years.
    He elaborated that as guided by Kim Jong Il, the DPRK is firmly defending socialism and thoroughly applying the spirit of the red flag of socialism into all the fields of politics, economy and culture.
    The book "Human Emancipation and Juche Idea" consists of 4 chapters and 10 sections including "The Juche Idea and Its Philosophical Principle", "The Idea of the Revolution and Construction Indicated by the Juche Idea" and "African Countries and the Juche Idea".
    The author in the book ascertained that the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and developed and enriched by Kim Jong Il is, indeed, an encyclopedic idea indicating the true path of humankind for national, class and human emancipation.

Friendship and Solidarity Association Formed in Ecuador

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- An inaugural ceremony of the Canar Province, Ecuador, Association for Friendship and Solidarity with the DPRK was held in a city of Canar Province on Feb. 2. A declaration was published and the leadership of the association was formed at the ceremony.

DPRK Gov't Urged Not to Allow Japan to Participate in Six-way Talks

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League requests the DPRK government to shut out Japan from the six-way talks, considering that we should not deal with the Japanese reactionaries who continue to act nastily in disregard of our sincerity and magnanimity. A spokesman for the Central Committee of the youth league issued a statement Wednesday as regards the recent adoption of an "amendment to the law on foreign exchange" in Japan.
    The reckless act of Japan is, to all intents and purposes, an intentional and premeditated provocation to lead the DPRK-Japan relations to an extreme confrontation by taking advantage of the U.S. hard-line policy of stifling the DPRK, the spokesman said, and went on: Underlying it is the sinister intention to put pressure on the DPRK in a bid to wrest a concession from it and avoid the responsibility for the past crimes against the Korean people.
    It is a mistake if the Japanese reactionaries think that they can frighten the Korean people and youth and stop their advance at least for a moment by such thing as a foreign exchange law.
    The current developments compel all the Korean youth to harden their will not to make any compromise with Japan, the century-old sworn enemy, but settle account with it to pay for the blood shed by the Korean people.
    We solemnly warn once again with the honor of the Songun young vanguard that the Japanese authorities will meet a hopeless miserable lot in face of the might of the 5 million rifles and bombs fully charged, if they persistently cling to the hostile policy toward the DPRK, forgetting the lesson of history, seized by anachronistic notion.

Friday Meeting in S. Korea

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the Movement for Opposing the United States and War and Urging the Conclusion of the Non-aggression Treaty between North Korea and the U.S. in south Korea reportedly held the 11th Friday meeting for peace against the U.S. and war in front of the U.S. embassy in Seoul on Feb. 6 to denounce warmonger Bush. The rally was addressed by Hong Sok Yong, co-representative of the Headquarters of the People's Movement for the Withdrawal of the U.S. Troops, and Son Jun Hyok, spokesman for the Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration.
    They denounced the U.S. for its brigandish pressure for offering south Korean troops as bullet shields instead of admitting its fabrication of information about weapons of mass destruction it used for launching the war of aggression against Iraq.
    They criticized the U.S. for straining the situation by spreading all sorts of misinformation not only about Iraq but about the north.
    A resolution read out at the meeting demanded the U.S. not try to deceive the world public with misinformation but exert efforts to peacefully settle the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula caused by it.
    The 70 million Koreans will smash through firm national cooperation the U.S. moves to threaten the dignity and existence of the nation, it concluded.

New Tanks Shipped into South Korea

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The U.S. forces in south Korea reportedly shipped scores of new tanks M1-A1 Abrams into south Korea on January 29. They introduced these tanks into the headquarters of the U.S. Second Division near the Military Demarcation Line under the pretext of increasing the war capacity.
    The U.S. imperialists are now driving the situation on the Korean peninsula to a crisis by introducing weapons of mass destruction and up-to-date war equipment tested in real wars in other countries into south Korea and its surrounding areas according to the plan to bolster the U.S. troops in south Korea.

Passage of Motion on Troop Dispatch to Iraq Opposed in S. Korea

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The People's Action against Troop Dispatch in south Korea reportedly held a rally in front of the "National Assembly" building on Feb. 6 to denounce the present regime for the troop dispatch and oppose the passage of the motion on troop dispatch to Iraq through the NA. At the rally the speakers noted with resentment that on Feb. 3 Pak Kwan Yong, speaker of the NA, Choe Pyong Ryol, representative of the Grand National Party, Kim Jong Phil, president of the United Liberal Democrats, and others met and agreed to pass the motion on troop dispatch through the session of the NA.
    The motion on troop dispatch is an undemocratic one introduced by the "government" after deceiving the people with misinformation and false promises and a humiliating one intended to serve the purpose of aggression as it has nothing to do with peace and the rebuilding of Iraq, they stressed.
    They called for directing all efforts to judging on behalf of the people those "national assemblymen" who supported the passage of such reckless motion on troop dispatch.
    At the end of the rally the participants gathered in front of the GNP building and continued their struggle.

Reception Given by Iranian Ambassador

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Jalaleddin Namini Mianji, Iranian ambassador to the DPRK, hosted a reception Wednesday on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran. Present there on invitation were Kim Yong Dae, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, officials concerned, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations here.
    The ambassador said in his speech that the Islamic Republic of Iran was on the way of building democracy based on its religious and cultural value while respecting the internationally recognized principles and was striving to develop relations with other countries on the principle of equality and mutual respect.
    We are deeply interested in developing our excellent friendly ties with the DPRK not only in the political and cultural relations but in the economic field, he said, and stated: Iran actively supports the Korean people in their efforts for the country's reunification and negotiated settlement of the nuclear issue.
    Ri Won Il, minister of Labour who is chairman of the DPRK-Iran Friendship Association, speaking at the reception, said the Iranian people founded the Republic and had dynamically advanced along the road chosen by themselves while firmly defending the sovereignty of the country and the gains of revolution after winning victory in the Islamic revolution under the leadership of Ayatollah Imam Khomeini, leader of the Islamic revolution of Iran, 25 years ago.
    He stated the Korean people, valuing the friendly relations between the two peoples forged in the joint struggle for independence against imperialism,would make every possible effort to further expand and develop the friendly relations between the DPRK and Iran in the future, too.

KCNA Assails Japan's Passage of Anti-DPRK Amendment

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Japan finally passed the "amendment to the law on foreign exchange" calling for applying sanctions and blockade against the DPRK through the House of Councilors at its meeting on Feb. 9. By passing the amendment through the House of Councilors in the wake of its carriage through the House of Representatives on Jan. 29 Japan adopted it as its state policy to apply economic sanctions against the DPRK, disclosing its despicable true colors as a sworn enemy of the Korean nation.
    This legislation clearly proves that Japan is keen to bedevil the DPRK-Japan relations of confrontation, isolate and stifle the DPRK and realize its ambition for reinvasion whatever the cost, while paying its lip-service to dialogue.
    The Japanese authorities in collusion with ruling and opposition parties staged such farce as revising the law at the Diet in a bid to strangle an independent sovereign state. This can take place only in such an abnormal country as Japan where moral vulgarity and shamelessness have reached their height.
    The Japanese reactionaries who have acted a shock brigade in implementing the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK are now asserting that it is now possible for Japan to unilaterally apply sanctions against the DPRK.
    This is a wanton violation of the DPRK-Japan Pyongyang Declaration in which both sides committed themselves to abide by international law and refrain from doing any act of threatening the security of the other side. This also clearly proves that the Japanese reactionaries' thinking power has reached the state of paralysis.
    Japan's hostile policy toward the DPRK is getting all the more pronounced as the days go by though it is not yet 2 years since the publication of the Pyongyang declaration. This is hardening the determination of the Korean army and people toward Japan which has brought all sorts of pain and misfortune to the Korean nation in the past to fully settle accounts with it.
    The Japanese reactionaries have constantly applied economic sanctions against the DPRK for scores of years since the end of the war. But it is the first time that they have become so frantic in their economic sanctions against the DPRK. The DPRK will regard any economic sanctions against it by the Japanese reactionaries as a declaration of war and take a resolute counter-measure for self-defense.
    The Japanese reactionaries should clearly understand that the Koreans are not what they used to be in the past when they were oppressed and despised by the Japanese imperialists.
    Japan will have to bear full responsibility for all the consequences to be caused to the bilateral relations if it keeps going reckless, forgetful of the historical lesson.

South Side's Behavior at Inter-Korean Talks under Fire

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The south side persistently negated and rejected the idea of "By our nation itself" at the 13th inter-Korean ministerial-level talks. Such behavior of the south side is a very unreasonable act quite contrary to the nature, purpose and spirit of the inter-Korean dialogue for reconciliation, unity and reunification of the Korean nation and a blatant challenge to the aspiration and will of the nation to get reconciled and cooperate with each other and achieve the reunification. Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed commentary.
    It continues:
    The idea of "By our nation itself" is the common desire of the whole Korean nation, a historical terminology of the present times and a principled idea of the movement for independent reunification.
    The south side took this attitude for fear that this idea may offend the forces opposed to reconciliation and reunification of the Korean nation.
    As already disclosed, from the very outset of the year the U.S. put pressure upon the south Korean authorities to adjust the process of improving the inter-Korean relations depending on the progress made in settling the nuclear issue. In a word, the U.S. sent a red signal to this process. If the south side had a principle and remained independent it would have behaved otherwise.
    The Korean people are firm in their will to defend peace of the country and develop the process of reconciliation and reunification through national cooperation under the banner of "By our nation itself".
    The north side at the talks served a warning to the south side by stating that if it continues paying lip-service to the development of inter-Korean relations, not respecting the idea of "By our nation itself" clarified in the June 15 joint declaration, and the north side can not but take other options.
    The south side is well advised not to drive the situation to such a phase.

10-day Film Show Opens

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A 10-day film show opened to celebrate February 16, the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il. To be screened at cinemas and houses of culture across the country in this period are "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il Gives On-the-Spot Guidance to Different Fields" (serial), "Bringing about a Great Turn with the Songun Revolutionary Leadership", "Holding the Great Brilliant Commander in High Esteem" (serial), "Care for a Worthy Life" (serial) and other documentary films showing the Songun revolutionary leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il.
    "The Nation and Destiny" (serial), "Chief Secretary of Taehongdan County" (serial), "People of Jagang Province", "Our Life" and other feature films will also be screened.
    An opening ceremony took place at the People's Palace of Culture today.
    At the end of the ceremony documentary film "Legend about Love Associated with the Journey for On-spot Guidance" Part 6 and a feature film were shown.
    That day similar film show opened in all provinces.

21st Century to Witness Victory of Songun Idea

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The 21st century will be exalted as a stirring century when the popular masses' cause of independence, the cause of socialism, will triumph under the banner of Songun idea, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Thursday. The present era witnesses a fierce struggle between socialism and imperialism and between independent forces and dominationist forces, the author of the article says, and goes on:
    Imperialist reactionary forces can be contained only by armed forces.
    The revolutionary philosophy that arms precisely mean revolution and represent the victory of socialism and the Songun principle that the popular masses' cause of independence can be won only by a key and leading role played by the army were propounded in the grim reality in which unprecedented ordeals were overcome with the army in the van. And, in this course, the Songun politics have been completed as a political mode in the present era.
    Songun idea is an idea calling for putting the army before everything and a great line, strategy and tactics of Songun revolution calling for advancing the revolution and construction by putting the army in the foreground as the pillar and the main force of the revolution and relying upon it. It is a revolutionary idea representing the era of fierce struggle against imperialism and a revolutionary theory of a higher phase whereby all the countries and nations advocating independence are building independent and prospering new societies today when the imperialists' aggressive and predatory nature have been carried into extremes.
    Songun idea indicates the way of achieving the final victory of the revolution by strengthening the driving force of revolution and immensely enhancing its role as required by the Juche idea.
    Hundreds of media of over a hundred countries have vied with each other in covering the news of leader Kim Jong Il's inspection of units of the Korean People's Army and carried special write-ups and reports introducing his extraordinary leadership traits thousands of times since he started on the long journey of Songun revolution.
    Seminars, lectures and round-table talks on his revolutionary idea and exploits in Songun revolutionary leadership were held at least 300 times in over 40 countries in 2000, over 350 times in more than 60 countries in 2001,over 400 times in several dozen countries in 2002 and more than 500 times in 70-odd countries in 2003.
    At least 340 party delegations from all continents of the world had visited Pyongyang to study and learn from Songun politics up to June 2002.
    Many groups for the study of the Juche idea all over the world are engaged in activities for the study and dissemination of Songun idea and new groups for the study of Songun politics are taking shapes.
    Brisk activities are underway in various countries to deeply study Songun politics and apply it to the specific realities in their countries.

S. Korean People's Struggle Goes On

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) --South Korean people reportedly staged strong actions in Seoul on Feb. 9 in protest against the passage of the "motion on troop dispatch to Iraq" and the "motion on the ratification of an agreement on free trade" through the "National Assembly." A meeting to decisively check the passage of the motion on troop dispatch to Iraq through the "National Assembly" took place in front of the assembly building in Youido with at least 1,500 people attending under the sponsorship of the People's Action against the Troop Dispatch.
    At the meeting speakers declared that all the workers, peasants, students and all other people would turn out in the struggle against the troop dispatch if the motion is carried through the "National Assembly" under the pressure of the U.S. despite the opposition of all the people.
    A resolution was read out at the meeting.
    A seven-member delegation of the action paid a protest visit to the house of the chairman of the "National Defense Committee of the National Assembly" and stopped him from going to his office and demanded him not pass the motion through the committee.
    Meanwhile, members of the peasant associations across south Korea including Ryoju and Phyongthaek in Kyonggi Province and South Kyongsang Province paid protest visits to offices of "assemblymen" from different parties in Seoul and staged sit-in strikes there in protest against the handling of the "motion on the ratification of the agreement on free trade."
    At least 20,000 peasants from all parts of south Korea held a national meeting of peasants in front of the cultural ground of Youido Park that afternoon in protest against the conclusion of the agreement on free trade.
    At the end of the meeting they marched toward the "National Assembly" building.

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il received a floral basket and a congratulatory message from the officials in charge of cultural and friendly relations of various embassies here on the occasion of February 16, his birthday, and the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of the programme for modeling the whole society on the Juche Idea. Mahmoud Masoud Amer, first councilor of the People's Bureau of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya here, conveyed them to an official concerned on behalf of those officials on Feb. 12.

Kim Jong Il Inspects KPA UNit

     Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspected KPA Unit 162 honored with the title of Kum Song Lifeguard. After receiving a salute, he went round a room devoted to the unit's history, conducted by its commander.
    Recalling with deep emotion the proud militant path covered by the unit, he highly praised its officers and men for having achieved many successes in the defence of the country and socialist construction in the past. He congratulated them on having won one victory after another with arms of Songun in hands by carrying forward the glorious tradition of the unit.
    After seeing the training of the soldiers of the unit, he advanced highly important tasks which would serve as guidelines in increasing the combat power of the unit in every way, greatly satisfied to learn that all the soldiers have grown to be combatants fully prepared politically, ideologically and physically and in military technique, who are capable enough to defeat any formidable enemy at one blow and firmly defend the socialist homeland.
    He dropped in at a comprehensive military lecture room to inspect a lecture given for commanding officers. He was very pleased to see commanding officers being prepared as competent officers equipped with high operation commanding ability by devoting all their wisdom and enthusiasm to the training after building excellent lecture rooms in order to successfully carry out the Juche-oriented military strategy of the WPK.
    He acquainted himself in detail with the political and ideological work conducted among the soldiers and the management of the unit, going round a servicemen's hall, a library, the compound of the barracks, a nursery and other places.
    The next leg of his inspection was a company under the unit.
    Going round an education room, a lecture room, a bedroom, a mess, a kitchen, a washroom, a daily provision store and other entertainment and logistic facilities, he noted with great satisfaction that they have been spruced up in such a way as to make every visitor to the company feel refreshed.

Kim Jong Il inspecciona una fabrica de alimentos en construccion

     Pyongyang, 12 de enero (ATCC) -- El Dirigente Kim Jong Il, Secretario General del Partido del Trabajo de Corea, Presidente del Comite de Defensa Nacional de la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea y Comandante Supremo del Ejercito Popular de Corea inspecciono una fabrica de alimentos que construyen militares del EPC. Esta fabrica, que se construye en un area de mas de 130 mil metros cuadrados, es una base combinada de elaboracion alimentaria capaz de producir diversos alimentos, los basicos y subsidiarios, y de elaborar hasta los cereales.
    El Dirigente, al recorrer el exterior y el interior de esta fabrica, se entero en detalles del estado de construccion y produccion.
    Tras recorrer el taller de procesamiento de maiz, el de alimentos subsidiarios, el de elaboracion de arroz y otros procesos de produccion, se mostro muy satisfecho de que los constructores estan levantando magnificamente una nueva fabrica de alimentos de alto nivel, evaluo altamente sus meritos laborales y envio su cordial saludo a todos los constructores.
    Dijo que el diseno de la fabrica esta elaborado con audacia y con vistas al futuro y la calidad del edificio esta garantizada al maximo nivel, y destaco que esto es un fruto valioso que dio el noble mundo espiritual de nuestros constructores quienes con el ardiente amor a la patria viven no para hoy sino para el manana.
    Subrayo que todo el trabajo que hacemos es la sagrada labor en aras de la prosperidad de la patria, la felicidad del pueblo y las generaciones venideras, por lo tanto, debemos construir de modo cualitativo esta fabrica como creacion de eterna duracion que no tendra defecto en el futuro lejano.
    Recalco que con la normalizacion de la produccion de las modernas fabricas de gallinas, patos, siluros y los criaderos de peces, erguidas por doquier en pleno acato a las instrucciones del Presidente Kim Il Sung segun las que la intendencia es precisamente la labor politica, hay que preparar cuanto antes la vida alimenticia abundante.
    El Comandante Supremo presento las tareas programaticas que sirven de guia para terminar con anticipacion la construccion de la fabrica y para la administracion y mantenimiento de esta.
    Le acompanaron los generales de ejercito del EPC Ri Myong Su, Hyon Chol Hae y Pak Jae Gyong y los primeros subjefes de departamento del Comite Central del PTC Ri Yong Chol y Choe Chun Hwang.

Tendra lugar VIII festival de Kimjongilia en Pyongyang

     Pyongyang, 12 de enero (ATCC) -- Con motivo de la fiesta de febrero, cumpleanos del Dirigente Kim Jong Il, durante mas de 10 dias a partir del 14 de febrero del 93 (2004) de la Era Juche, tendra lugar grandiosamente en Pyongyang el VIII Festival de Kimjongilia auspiciado por el Comite de Kimilsungia y Kimjongilia de Corea en la Exposicion Permanente de Kimilsungia y Kimjongilia.. En el festival participaran los comites del Consejo de Ministros, ministerios, organos centrales, organismos de las Fuerzas Armadas, las provincias y trabajadores individuales que cultivan Kimjongilia.

Granja Ganadera de Kyenam

     Pyongyang, 12 de enero (ATCC) -- Recientemente la provincia de Hwanghae del Sur de Corea termino exitosamente durante 4 meses y pico la obra de ampliacion en mas de 2 veces de capacidad de la Granja Ganadera de Kyenam. Esta vez, mas de 150 edificios fueron construidos o reconstruidos.
    Su superficie llega a mas de 20 mil metros cuadrados.
    Los corrales de cabras cuya superficie de cada uno es mas de 320 metros cuadrados podran realizar la cria y cuidado cientificos y tecnicos y tambien tienen lugar de recreo al aire libre.
    Cada sala del corral de cabra tiene la capacidad de criar unos 10~20 cabras.
    El corral de puerco tambien fue proyectado y construido de modo racional al tomar en consideracion la productividad estacional y la prevencion veterinaria. Se construyeron tipicamente las salas de elaboracion y los almacenes de cebos.
    La granja cuenta con miles de hectareas de herbazales a lo largo de carreteras en medio del monte de decenas de ries (10 ries equivalen a 4 kilometros) de Este a Oeste. Las instalaciones de la Granja estan modernizadas.
    La fabrica de elaboracion lechera esta dotada de instalaciones ultramodernas desde el proceso de medicion de leche hasta los procesos de produccion de manteca, queso, kefir, etc.
    Hace poco, el Dirigente Kim Jong Il visito esta granja ganadera donde dijo que la Granja Ganadera de Kyenam es una base de productos ganaderos que dispone suficientemente de todas las instalaciones para criar de modo cientifico y tecnico los animales domesticos como la cabra y el puerco y de grandes y modernas instalaciones de elaboracion de leche y presento las tareas programaticas que se presentan en su administracion y gestion.
