Attempts to Stamp Out Cause of Socialism Termed Day-Dream
Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Socialism is the ideal of humankind and represents its future.
Rodong Sinmun Thursday says this in a signed article.
It continues:
The ideal of humankind is to live independently and happily and develop on an equal footing in the peaceful world free from all sorts of exploitation and oppression, domination and subordination and war and aggression. It is precisely the socialist idea that meets the common demand and aspiration of humankind.
It is the noble purpose and mission of socialism to oppose the exploitation of man by man and all sorts of domination and subordination, respect and guarantee the sovereignty of all countries and nations and struggle to meet the intrinsic demand of humankind and their wishes to live and develop independently.
The popular masses can be independent, all the countries and nations can achieve their independent development and human civilization make progress only when they advance along the road of socialism.
The imperialists and venal hack writers are busy spreading misinformation about the ideal of socialism in a bid to shake the faith in socialism among the revolutionary people of the world and create an illusion about capitalism and thus stop history advancing. This is a blatant challenge to the ideal of humankind and the cause of socialism.
The imperialists and all hues of reactionaries of history are desperately working to stamp out the cause of socialism, but it is nothing but an anachronistic daydream. People are still aspiring after and advancing toward independence and socialism.
The ideal of humankind is sure to come true as it is immortal.
