Preparatory Committee Formed

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The Association for Friendship with the Korean People which has its branches in more than 90 countries formed a preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Sun on March 3. Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee and Bjonar Simonsen, representative of the Norway Branch of the association, secretary of the committee.
The preparatory committee decided to open Internet special homepage on the occasion of the Day of the Sun to carry articles praising the undying revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and hold a Korean film show and photo exhibition.

Drug Smuggling Increases in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Drug smuggling is now rapidly increasing in south Korea, according to south Korean MBC. 10 cases of drug smuggling were detected at Inchon airport this year, which increased by 40 percent as compared with those in the same period of last year. Philopon seized accounts for over 1,290 million won in domestic currency, or more than 15 times that of last year.

U.S. Denounced for Aggravating Tensions

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Unless the U.S. gives up its double-dealing attitude toward the six-party talks and hostile policy toward the DPRK, the resumption of the talks and the settlement of the nuclear issue cannot be expected. Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a signed commentary. It goes on:
    The U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK is the main obstacle to the resumption of the six-party talks and the settlement of the nuclear issue. The U.S., persistently evading its obligatory implementation, has laid artificial difficulties in the process of the six-party talks.
    Whenever a sign of progress was seen at the six-party talks, the U.S. put obstacles to their progress under the pretexts of non-existent "human rights, counterfeit notes and drug smuggling issues".
    Even after the 3rd round of the six-party talks in June 2004 agreed on the principle of "words for words" and "action for action" and the principle of "compensation for freeze", a measure of the first phase for the settlement of the nuclear issue, and reached the joint common cognition that the U.S. should change its hostile policy toward the DPRK, thus laying a foundation for the progress of the talks, the U.S. betrayed the principles. Less than a month after the end of the talks, the U.S. totally negated the principle of "compensation for freeze" and, at the same time, rigged up a "north Korean human rights act" to halt the talks.
    Just before the 2nd stage of the 4th round of the six-party talks, the U.S. made public a "report" to designate the DPRK as a "violator of the international arms control conventions". It also alleged that the DPRK has pursued the "uranium enrichment program" in secret, "violating" the Joint Declaration on the Denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the DPRK-U.S. Agreed Framework. When last year witnessed the Sept. 19 joint statement and positive moves for the settlement of the nuclear issue, the U.S. again fabricated "counterfeit notes" and "illegal traffic" to disturb the implementation of the joint statement, thus blocking the resumption of the six-party talks.
    It is the logic of the U.S. hard-line conservative forces and the U.S. stance toward the six-party talks to allege that "dialogue" is no more than a "gesture" to captivate its opponent and the U.S. will for action is "strength". With nothing can the U.S. evade its responsibility for blocking the progress of the six-party talks.

Withdrawal of Agreement on Reshaping S. Korea-U.S Alliance Demanded

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Over 140 civic and social organizations including the Citizens' Solidarity for Democratic Society reportedly held a "news conference of civic organizations urging the withdrawal of the agreement on reshaping the south Korea-U.S. alliance" in Seoul on March 9. Noting that the United States and the south Korean authorities were holding a series of negotiations in camera on the effectuation of the "strategic flexibility" of the U.S. forces, relocation of U.S. military bases, purification of the polluted U.S. bases to be returned to south Korea and other issues, the speakers said these negotiations were premised on the reorganization of the shackling and aggressive military "alliance". They denounced the humiliating submission of the "government" to the U.S. in accepting the unilateral demands of the U.S. root and branch at the closed-door negotiations which would drive the people to death.
They demanded a prompt abolition of the unequal south Korea-U.S. "alliance," noting that it is wholly used as a tool for realizing the U.S. strategy for world supremacy. The press release demanded the "government" totally nullify the results of the humiliating negotiations with the U.S. and immediately retract the agreement on reshaping the "alliance".

Joint Struggle for Defending Cultural Sovereignty Declared

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Thirty cultural and art organizations of south Korea reportedly called a news conference in Seoul on March 9 and declared the formation of the Culture and Art Joint Measure Committee for Checking the South Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement and Securing Cultural Variety. Kim Yong Thae, co-permanent representative of the committee, and other speakers said the committee would wage an intensive fight against the authorities' decision on the reduction of the screen quota and the negotiation for the signing of a "free trade agreement" in solidarity with organizations of various circles. A press release was made public at the end of the news conference. Denouncing the government for seeking to totally sell out the culture of south Korean society through the conclusion of a humiliating south Korean-U.S. free trade agreement, the release urged the authorities to stop the negotiation for the signing of the agreement and repeal the decision on reduction of the screen quota.

Immediate Cancellation of Plan for Joint Military Exercises Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The National People's Solidarity of south Korea reportedly issued a statement on March 10 demanding the south Korea-U.S. "Combined Forces Command" immediately cancel its plan to stage joint war maneuvers, a combination of RSOI and Foal Eagle, from March 25 to 31. These large-scale war exercises will be U.S.-led saber rattling for aggression to be staged on the Korean Peninsula, the statement noted, and continued: It is a quite objective and natural conclusion that the above-said exercises will be war maneuvers to invade the north and a dangerous move to escalate the stand-off and spark a war crisis on the Korean Peninsula every year.
The projected military exercises are fraught with increasing danger as they are slated to take place at a time when the flexibility for aggression of the U.S. forces in south Korea is openly justified by the agreement on consenting to their "strategic flexibility." We can never recognize the "strategic flexibility" of the U.S. forces in south Korea and their redeployment intended to turn the Korean Peninsula into a base for a war against the north and a base for aggression aimed at holding military supremacy in Northeast Asia and the U.S. move to turn them into "rapid deployment forces" nor can we tolerate large-scale war maneuvers for invasion of the north to be openly staged under the pretext of "joint exercises".

Formation of Umbrella Body of United Front Called for in S. Korea

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The 6th meeting of the Reunification Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and Achieving Peace on the Korean Peninsula held in Seoul on March 8 reportedly discussed as its special agenda item the issue of creating an umbrella body for united front. The Reunification Solidarity decided to formally organize a planning team for creating an umbrella body for united front and wind up the discussion of the above-said issue through consultations with the progressive camp including "the National People's Solidarity" as early as possible within this year.
    It made it clear that the political goal of the umbrella body is to achieve national independence and democracy, regarding the people as a driving force, implement the June 15 joint declaration, realize peaceful reunification and guarantee them the right to their existence and social equality.
    It also declared that it would use the meeting as an occasion of putting spurs to the creation of the umbrella body for the united front, a united political organization for establishing an independent democratic government.
    A resolution adopted at the meeting called for achieving strong solidarity of people from all walks of life including workers, farmers, youth and students, women and the poor and the great unity of the nation by the concerted efforts of the forces for independent reunification.
    The resolution stressed the need to strengthen the June 15 joint national committee to pave a wide avenue for the progress of great national unity and the implementation of the joint declaration.
    The meeting was followed by a function for commemorating the 5th anniversary of the Reunification Solidarity.
    It was addressed by Han Sang Ryol, permanent representative chairman of the Reunification Solidarity, Jong Kwang Hun, permanent representative of "the National People's Solidarity," Mun Kyong Sik, chairman of "the National Federation of Peasants Associations", Jo Jun Ho, chairman of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, Jang Song Hoe, chairman of the south Korean Federation of University Student Councils, and Mun Song Hyon, representative of the Democratic Workers' Party, and others.
    The speakers declared that the way to be followed by the progressive camp in the days ahead is to create an umbrella body for the united front, adding they would take the lead in the actions to attain the goal.

U.S.-led Reckless Joint Military Exercises Blasted

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The "Team Spirit" joint military exercises were a most dangerous DPRK-targeted test nuclear war in their nature, contents and scale, observes Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article carried 30 years since the U.S. imperialists launched the exercises together with the bellicose forces of south Korea. The south Korean authorities' plan to continue staging large-scale joint military exercises against the DPRK along with the U.S. is a criminal move against the nation, peace and reunification as it will chill the ardent desire of the fellow countrymen for reunification, escalate tension on the Korean Peninsula and do harm to the cause of independent reunification, the article notes, and goes on:
    Joint military exercises with foreign forces are quite contrary to the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration.
    Staging the joint military exercises with foreign forces explicitly means close "cooperation" with aggressive foreign forces in the political aspect. The above-said plan of the south Korean authorities is an outright breach of the joint declaration which calls for refraining from any "cooperation" with foreign forces in war and achieving cooperation for peace in the spirit of "By our nation itself". Joint war exercises with outside forces are the factor of exacerbating the tensions on the Korean Peninsula and bedeviling the inter-Korean relations. Intolerable are the joint military maneuvers intended to block the just cause of the Korean nation for peace and independent reunification of the country with provocative war gambles.
    If the south Korean authorities truly stand for the development of the inter-Korean relations and peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula, they should immediately cancel the projected joint military exercises harmful to them.

February Holiday Celebrated Worldwide

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Multifarious functions were held in over 70 countries this year to most auspiciously celebrate February 16, the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il, as a holiday common to humankind. Preparations to significantly mark this day were pushed forward in all parts of the world from the end of the last year.
    The Ugandan National Preparatory Committee for Celebrating February 16 was inaugurated in Kampala in December, 2005, and nearly 50 preparatory committees for celebrating February 16 were organized in many countries and by international organizations this year.
    The preparatory committee was organized by officials of the government and political parties in Cambodia under the instructions of the king and preparatory committees with famous political and public figures as chairpersons were formed in Nepal, Bangladesh, Romania, Congo, Tanzania and other countries.
    The Association for Friendship with the Korean People which has branches in more than 90 countries opened the Internet special homepage and the February 16 International Committee consisting of representatives of East European and Central Asian countries was inaugurated and thus preparations for celebrating the February holiday were conducted on a larger scale.
    Foreign media spared no time and space for introduction and information to excite February holiday atmosphere. The Chinese Hong Kong newspaper Ching Pao, the Russian newspaper Patriot, the German newspaper Die Rote Fahne, the Ugandan newspaper Sun Rise, the Brazilian newspaper Hora do Povo, the Indian magazine Social Look, the Italian magazine La Voce, the Guinean Agency of Press, the Lao National TV, Ecuadorian TV Tele Andina 23 and other media carried the portraits and images of Kim Jong Il and widely introduced his brief biography, famous works and personality as a great man who has led not only the Korean revolution but also the cause of global independence to victory with his unique Songun policy.
    Honorary titles, floral baskets and gifts were presented to him in various countries on the occasion of his birthday.
    He was presented with the honorary title of "Protector and Charitarian of World Art for 2005" and a gift by the Russian International Charity Fund "Protectors of the Art for the Century" at a grand ceremony held at the Kremlin State Palace in Moscow on February 16.
    He was also awarded the title of honorary citizen of Darhan Ol Province in Mongolia. The titles of honorary citizens of Yantzaza City, Zamora Chinchipe Province, in Ecuador were conferred on the three generals of Mt. Paektu.
    And the Cambodian king, the Equatorial Guinean president, the Guinean president, the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the Brazilian Communist Party and other heads of state, governments, political parties, organizations and high-ranking officials sent floral baskets to DPRK missions on the occasion of the birthday of Kim Jong Il. He was presented with gifts by the China Association for International Friendly Contact, the Beijing Association for International Friendly Contact, the Dandong Municipal People's Government of Liaoning Province in China, the general chairperson of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, the vice-chairman of the National Democratic Party of Egypt, the director of the State Academic Moiseyev Dance Company of Russia, the honorary manager of Voluntad Publishing House of Ecuador, the editor of the Bangladesh newspaper Blits and the chairman of the Egyptian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea.
    Meetings, seminars, lectures, book and photo exhibitions and film shows and other celebrations were held in more than 70 countries including Laos, Mongolia, Iran, Pakistan, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Austria, France, Guinea, Uganda, Democratic Congo, Tanzania, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, Brazil and Australia. The participants in celebrations expressed boundless respect and reverence for Kim Jong Il, a great teacher of progressive humankind and an outstanding leader for accomplishing the cause of global independence.

Preparations for Miru Plain Water-way Project under Way

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Preparations for the water-way project of Miru Plain in North Hwanghae Province, the DPRK, are progressing apace. It is another gravity-fed irrigation system extending as far as hundreds of kilometers. It will supply ample water to the plain while saving many pumping and power facilities such as water pumps and electric motors and a huge amount of electricity. Its design has already been completed. Now the government is concentrating construction forces on the project for the purpose of completing it in a short span of time. Leading officials in charge of the project are organizing all the work in a bold and ambitious way under difficult conditions, with the result that labor forces, machines and facilities have been rapidly deployed.
    In particular, compressors, electric generators, rails, pipes and other machines and facilities used in the Paekma-Cholsan Water-way project are being swiftly transported to the new construction sites.
    And definite precedence is being given to establishing power and communication networks and building roads.
    Meanwhile, the constructors from across the country are in high spirits. The officials and workers from Pyongyang in charge of the construction of a large-scale reservoir have finished the laying of power and communication lines and now are engaged in the reconfirmation of project amount, survey and other preparatory work. The workers from the Hwanghae Irrigation Construction Company are registering signal successes in removing surface earth of their construction site every day with the stamina with which they completed the project of the main dam of the Paekma Reservoir, a cardinal object of the Paekma-Cholsan Water-way project, ahead of schedule.
    The builders from South Hamgyong, North Phyongan and other provinces confirmed tunneling sites and are transporting and installing necessary facilities. Ministries of Railways, Electricity and Coal Industries and Post and Telecommunications and other ministries, national institutions and units related to the project are taking concrete steps to ensure the machines and materials needed for the project.

2nd International Martial Arts Games to Be Held

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The 2nd International Martial Arts Games will be held from August 22 to 29 in Pyongyang amid great expectation and interest of the Korean people and martial art players. It will be attended by players from the DPRK and tens of countries. The games will include Taekwon-Do, the orthodox martial art in Korea, wushu, Karate, Paduk(go) and Ssirum(Korean wrestling) and demonstration and exhibition shows of national martial arts of the various countries.
    Its first games were held in the DPRK in September Juche 93 (2004). They, the first of their kind in history, were a significant festival in which some 400 martial art players and representatives from over 40 countries including China, Japan, Germany and UK got together and demonstrated their noble sportsmanship and high degree of martial arts technique.
    The organizing committee for the 2nd International Martial Arts Games has already been formed and its panels buckled down to the preparatory work.

KCNA Blasts U.S. Dangerous Moves to Spark off Nuclear Arms Race

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The U.S. undisguised moves to step up the modernization of nuclear weapons production bases in a bid to put its plan for the R & D of nuclear weapons of new generation into practice is drawing attention of the world public. The nuclear security director for nuclear weapons development of the U.S. Department of Energy at the Armed Services Committee of the House of Representatives announced a plan to modernize all the bases of the production of nuclear weapons of new generation by 2030.
    The key points of the plan are to perfect those bases which would involve their infrastructural renewal geared to the new-type nuclear warhead development program to be prepared for unpredictable future.
    The aim sought by the U.S. in its stepped-up modernization of nuclear weapons production bases is to hold unchallenged edge in the strategic nuclear weapons and realize its strategy of world supremacy. Nuclear arms buildup is the hardcore of the U.S. drive for the implementation of this strategy by force.
    It is its pet theory that it can stand at a decisive advantage over other nuclear weapons states and dominate the world only when it develops more powerful nuclear weapons and possesses them in greater number than other countries. The U.S. has spent a staggering amount of fund to massively develop and produce all types of nuclear weapons including strategic and tactical nuclear weapons in the past. Stockpiled in its nuclear arsenal are more than 20,000 nuclear weapons including nuclear bombs, nuclear warheads of inter-continental ballistic missiles and cruise missiles.
    It has constantly supplemented and renewed its nuclear arsenal through the replacement of old ones and improvement of weapons' performance. What remains to be done by it now in keeping its unchallenged nuclear edge is to rationalize the production processes of new-type nuclear weapons under development and increase their production. To this end, it has buckled down to modernizing their production bases, putting the main stress on the development of "new-type nuclear warheads" which was carried by Congress last year.
    Through the modernization of the production bases of nuclear weapons of new generation the U.S. seeks to significantly increase the speed of production of nuclear weapons and improve their quality and quantity, deploy more of them as quickly as possible and thus ensure its unchallenged nuclear predominance and realize its ambition for world supremacy.
    The U.S. modernization plan is, explicitly speaking, an extremely adventurous nuclear war plan to bring a horrible nuclear disaster to humankind. It is self-evident that this would spark off a nuclear arms race in the international arena. The reality clearly proves that the U.S. is a nuclear fanatic and a rogue state threatening peace and stability of humankind.
    The U.S. is letting loose sophism that the modernization of nuclear weapons does not pose any problem, unlike the development of new- type nuclear weapon, and that the NPT does not ban the modernization of nuclear combat capability while loudly crying for the modernization of the production bases of nuclear weapons of new generation. It is pressurizing other countries not to possess nuclear weapons while framing sheer lies and breeding plots to justify its stepped-up development of new-type nuclear weapons and modernization of their production bases. This is the height of effrontery. The DPRK, a target of the U.S. preemptive nuclear attack, cannot but keep the sharpest vigilance against its spurred preparations to put its doctrine of this attack into practice.
    The U.S. feverish development of smaller nukes of new types and modernization of nuclear weapons production bases targeted against the DPRK convinces the latter once again that its possession and increase of nuclear deterrent is an entirely just self-defensive measure.

KCNA Dismisses U.S. False Propaganda against DPRK

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The United States, a past master at lies and deception, is now suffering bitter shame before the international community for a series of conspiratorial plots hatched by it recently. This is proved by the recently announced results of the final investigation into the case of the ship "Pongsu", a trading cargo ship of the DPRK.
    As already known, the U.S. hard-line conservatives who launched an invasion of Iraq under the pretext of "eliminating weapons of mass destruction (WMD)" in March 2003 kicked off an anti-DPRK smear campaign over the "issue of drug trafficking" in April of the same year. As part of the campaign they instigated some dishonest forces of Australia to commit such a piratical act as impounding the ship "Pongsu" and its crew engaged in normal trade on the groundless charge that they were directly involved in the "drug trafficking".
    Even before an investigation into the case began, the U.S. instigated reptile media to build public opinion critical of the DPRK, charging that the north Korean authorities were involved in the case, pursuant to its policy.
    Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of State in an annual "international narcotics control and strategy report" described the case of the ship "Pongsu" as a "state-sponsored drug trafficking case" which drew world attention.
    It published such a "report" on March 1, too, in a bid to restart the campaign of criticism and pressure against the DPRK, asserting that there was possible state involvement in the drug trafficking and a trial of the master and other senior crewmen would be held soon.
    But on March 5, a few days later, the High Court of Australia declared the crewmen of the ship not guilty and set all of them free. This brought to light the deceptive nature of the U.S. and the true picture of its burlesque against the DPRK. As the results of the case of the ship "Pongsu" showed, truth is bound to be discerned from a lie.
    No sooner had this case occurred than the DPRK strongly protested against the fabrication of the case, stating that it is not a simple drug matter but a political plot hatched by the U.S. and its allies in a premeditated and deliberate manner to do harm to the DPRK and stifle it over its nuclear issue.
    The U.S., however, has escalated its smear campaign to label the DPRK a "criminal state". This is evidenced by the U.S. loudmouthed story about the DPRK's "issue of counterfeit notes", "fake cigarette smuggling" and the like.
    No matter how desperately the U.S. may try to label the DPRK an "illegal state" under this or that charge, it can never deceive the world.
    The socialist system in the DPRK which aspires after justice and truth and holds man dearest strictly bans misuse of narcotics and their trafficking and such things as "the issue of counterfeit notes", prompted by its intrinsic nature.
    The fiction of "the development of weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq and the case of the ship "Pongsu" convinced the international community that all the "criminal cases" much touted by the U.S. were nothing but charades aimed to hoodwink the world. Misuse of narcotics and their trafficking, the issue of counterfeit notes and other crimes are chronic evils that have long plagued the American society. The DPRK remains unfazed at the U.S. base smear campaign as the DPRK's line and policies are very just and it is upright in everything.
    The DPRK is sure to triumph just as truth is bound to prevail over a lie. The above-said case inflicted not small damage upon the DPRK's ship and its crewmen. The U.S. should make a formal apology and compensation for its piratical act and political swindle. And it should stop at once all its farces intended to mislead the international community.
    This is the only right way of getting rid of the deplorable situation where it is censured by the international community.

Projected RSOI and Foal Eagle Exercises under Fire

    Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- the south Korea-U.S. "Combined Forces Command" officially announced on Mar. 10 that it would stage "RSOI" and "Foal Eagle" in south Korea under the simulated conditions of an emergency on the Korean Peninsula from Mar. 25 to 31. A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland issued a statement Monday assailing its plan.
    The plan of the U.S. and the south Korean bellicose forces to stage large-scale joint military maneuvers targeted against the north despite its repeated warnings and the unanimous opposition and condemnation by the public opinion at home and abroad is an extremely grave criminal move to bedevil the present inter-Korean relations and bring the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war, the statement notes, and goes on:
    This once again clearly indicates that the U.S. loudmouthed "talks" and the like are nothing but hypocrisy to mislead the public opinion at home and abroad and it is pursuing stand-off and war only.
    We can not but take note of the fact that despite our repeated strong demand the U.S. announced its plan to start the provocative war exercises to invade the north at a time when the 18th inter-Korean ministerial talks were about to open. The U.S. should know that the projected saber rattling will becloud the prospect of a peaceful solution to the nuclear issue and the six-party talks and drive the inter-Korean relations to a more serious phase.
    It is the spirit and mettle of the army and people in the DPRK advancing under the uplifted banner of Songun to respond to force in kind and to react to any provocation with merciless telling blows.
    The U.S. should ponder over the serious consequences to be entailed by the war maneuvers targeted against the north and unconditionally cancel its very dangerous plan for them.
    We, at the same time, serve a strong warning to the south Korean bellicose forces involved in the U.S. moves to invade the north.
    If the south Korean authorities truly wish to improve the inter-Korean relations and preserve the peace on the peninsula, they should neither toe the policy of outside forces for aggression nor become an accomplice in executing it but give up the plan to stage the joint military exercises with the outside forces and make an option for national independence, peace against war and great national unity.

    En la tercera ronda de conversaciones a 6 bandas de junio de 2004, se preparo la base para llevar adelante esta cita al acordarse el principio de "palabra vs palabra" y "accion vs accion" y el principio de "congelacion vs recompensa" que es la medida de primera etapa para la solucion del problema nuclear y al lograr el acuerdo comun de que EE.UU. debe renunciar su politica de hostilidad a Corea. Pero, a menos de un mes del termino de las conversaciones EE.UU., puso freno a la marcha de la cita al rehusar totalmente el principio de "congelacion vs recompensa" y fraguar la "ley de DDHH del Norte de Corea". En visperas de la segunda etapa de la cuarta ronda de conversaciones a 6 bandas EE.UU. publico un "informe" para estigmatizar a la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea como "violadora de Convenio Internacional de Control de Armas" y dijo que ella al cumplir de modo disimulado el "plan de enriquecimiento de uranio" "viola" la Declaracion Conjunta de la desnuclearizacion de la Peninsula Coreana y el Acuerdo Basico RPDC-EE.UU. Cuando el ano pasado se publico la Declaracion Conjunta del 19 de septiembre y se aparecio asi un movimiento positivo para la solucion del problema nuclear, EE.UU. volvio a escandalizar el problema de "falsificacion de billetes" y "transaccion ilegal" para obstaculizar la ejecucion de la Declaracion Conjunta y la reanudacion de la cita a 6 bandas.
    El "dialogo" "no es mas que un gesto" para enganar a la contraparte y lo que persigue realmente EE.UU. es la "fuerza". Esto es la logica de las fuerzas ultraconservadoras norteamericanas y la posicion de EE.UU. ante las conversaciones a 6 partes. EE.UU. no podra liberarse jamas de su accion obstaculizadora de la marcha de las conversaciones.

Agresividad de la "flexibilidad estrategica" de tropas yanquis

    Pyongyang, 13 de marzo (ATCC) -- La "flexibilidad estrategica" de las tropas norteamericanas ocupantes del Sur de Corea es un medio de la agresion y la intervencion militar con que Estados Unidos trata de realizar la estrategia asiatica y ambicion de heguemonia mundial aprovechando sutilmente la cambiada situacion internacional. Asi senala el periodico Rodong Sinmun en un articulo individual del dia 12 y continua:
    La llamada "flexibilidad estrategica" es la doctrina para una nueva guerra coreana y la teoria de dominio al Nordeste Asiatico para alcanzar su objetivo hegemonico bajo el rotulo de la "paz y la "estabilidad".
    EE.UU. maniobra tesoneramente para hacer realidad la "flexibilidad estrategica" de sus tropas ocupantes del Sur de Corea para mantenerlas indefinidamente y cumplir con mas facilidad la guerra de agresion a la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea al hacer mas moviles y modernizadas sus tropas ocupantes de la parte Sur de la Peninsula Coreana y su perferia.
    En fin se trata de la nueva estrategia militar para agredir a la RPDC y el resto de Asia y perturbar la paz y la estabilidad de la region.
    Si la "flexibilidad estrategica" se hace realidad, los imperialistas norteamericanos tendran la posibilidad de desatar la guerra a todo momento y en cualquier lugar de Asia para no hablar de la Peninsula Coreana.
    Por tanto, la retirada de las tropas norteamericanas del Sur de Corea constituye un problema apremiante relacionado con la paz y la seguridad de la Peninsula Coreana, el Nordeste Asiatico y el resto del mundo.
    Todos los paises asiaticos deben conocer correctamente la esencia agresiva y la peligrosidad de la "flexibilidad estrategica" de las tropas norteamericanas ocupantes del Sur de Corea y luchar activamente por frenarla.

Constituido comite preparatorio de AAC por Dia de Sol

�@Pyongyang, 13 de marzo (ATCC) -- La Asociacion de Amistad con Corea, que tiene sucursales en mas de 90 paises del mundo, constituyo el dia 3 el comite preparatorio para el Dia del Sol (15 de abril, cumpleanos del Presidente Kim Il Sung). Como presidente del comite naciente fue elegido Alejandro Cao de Benos, presidente de la citada Asociacion, y como secretario general Bjonar Simonsen, representante de la sucursal en Noruega.
La entidad decidio abrir una pagina Web de Internet en ocasion de esa efemeride para redactar articulos de elogio a las inmortales hazanas revolucionarias del Presidente Kim Il Sung y ofrecer proyeccion de filmes coreanos y exhibicion de fotos.

El fraude y la verdad quedaran revelados sin falta, comenta ATCC

    Pyongyang, 13 de marzo (ATCC) -- Ultimamente, el gran maestro del fraude y el engano EE.UU. se halla en una situacion muy bochornosa ante la sociedad internacional al caerse en las trampas tendidas por si mismo. �@Como ya trascendidos, las fuerzas conservadoras intransigentes de EE.UU., que iniciaron en marzo de 2003 la invasion a Iraq so pretexto de la "eliminacion de armas de destruccion masiva", incurrieron en abril del mismo ano en la campana intrigante contra la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea circulando el supuesto rumor del "narcotrafico".
    �@En el mismo contexto, insistieron en que participaron directamente en el "narcotrafico" los tripulantes del barco de la RPDC "Pongsu", quienes se dedicaban unicamente a las actividades comerciales sanas, e instigaron a algunos elementos malsanos de Australia a cometer la pirateria de detener la nave y a sus tripulantes. �@Aun antes de iniciada la investigacion, EE.UU. instigo a los medios de prensa venales a dar una opinion publica en contra de la RPDC pregonando que las "autoridades norcoreanas estan involucradas politicamente en el caso".
    �@De otro lado, a traves de sus "informes de la estrategia del control del narcotrafico internacional" que se emiten anualmente, el Departamento de Estado norteamericano anuncio que el incidente del "Pongsu" centro la atencion del mundo por haber sido "auspiciado por el Estado".
    �@En el mismo informe emitido el primero de marzo ultimo, esta entidad intento dar otra vez el clima de censura y presion a la RPDC al resaltar las "posibilidades de participacion estatal en el narcotrafico" y al anunciar que "habra pronto un juicio contra el capitan y marineros importantes del barco en cuestion". �@Sin embargo, unos dias despues, exactamente el dia 5, la corte suprema de Australia sentencio la inocencia de los tripulantes coreanos y excarcelaron a todos ellos. �@Con este fallo, quedo desenmascarado el complot intrigante que urdio EE.UU. para calumniar a la RPDC.
    �@Como demuestra el resultado final del incidente, el fraude y la verdad se revelan tarde o temprano.
    �@Tan pronto como flotara el caso, la RPDC protesto fuertemente revelando que esto no se limita al problema del narcotrafico sino un complot politico que prepararon premeditada y malintencionadamente EE.UU. y sus satelites para aplastar a aquella. �@Pero, EE.UU. dio mas giros a la tuerca de su campana para acusar a la RPDC del "pais criminal".
    �@En ella tienen su origen otras acusaciones de EE.UU. de "falsificacion de billetes" y de "venta ilegal de cigarros imitados".
    �@Pero, EE.UU. no podra enganar el mundo clarividente por mucho que intente tildar a la RPDC del "pais ilegal" con etiquetas de todos los colores.
    �@El caracter intrinseco del sistema socialista de la RPDC, que aspira a la justicia y la verdad y valora al ser humano como el ente mas precioso, prohibe rigidamente el abuso de drogas y el narcotrafico. Ademas, en el resulta una cuestion de ni pensar la "falsificacion de billetes".
    �@A traves de la teoria del "desarrollo de armas de destruccion masiva" por Iraq y el incidente del barco "Pongsu", la sociedad internacional se dio clara cuenta de que todos los "casos criminales" escandalizados por EE.UU. son farsas para enganar el mundo. �@Al contrario, todos esos actos criminales son males cronicos de que padece historicamente la sociedad norteamericana.
    �@La RPDC no se amilana ni un comino ante esa sucia campana de EE.UU. porque son mil veces justas sus lineas y politicas y nunca incurre en cosas deshonestas. �@Para este caso viene como anillo al dedo el dicho "siempre gana la verdad". �@EE.UU. debe indemnizar las perdidas que sufrieron la embarcacion comercial de la RPDC y sus tripulantes y pedir disculpas por haber cometido una pirateria y estafa politica contra esta.
