Rodong Sinmun Calls for Observing Revolutionary Principle

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- It is the unbreakable revolutionary principle to strengthen a party of the working class organizationally and ideologically and reliably ensure its leadership over the revolution and construction, steadily enhance the function and role of the socialist power, preserve and develop the socialist ownership and staunchly struggle against imperialism. Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed article.
    If one keeps the revolutionary principle, the principle of the working class, one will emerge victorious, but if not, one will go to ruin, the article notes, and says:
    It is important to consistently maintain the revolutionary principle in accomplishing the popular masses' cause of independence, the cause of socialism. That is the way to defend the basic interests of the revolution and advance the revolution to victory without any deviation.
    If one takes a step back from the revolutionary principle, it will lead to a hundred steps back. In the long run, the dignity of a nation and the sovereignty of a country will be lost to meet a cruel fate of subordination and slavery.
    The socialist cause starts with the class struggle, and it is defended and advanced through the struggle. Under this situation in which the cause of socialism is being carried out in the fierce class struggle, it is important to firmly preserve the principle that one should not have a slightest illusion about the class enemies but wage an uncompromising and merciless struggle against them without the slightest concession.
    The imperialists seek to instigate the remnants of the overthrown exploiting class and the reactionaries to undermine and overturn socialist countries while committing armed interventions against those countries. So, the U.S. annually appropriates a billion US dollars for activities intended to overthrow governments of other countries. The imperialists are benumbing class consciousness of the people under the signboards of "exchange" and "cooperation" of various forms and infiltrating the bourgeois ideology and culture by using all sorts of propaganda medium.
    As evidenced by the historical lesson, one step back and concession from the fierce class struggle resulted in one hundred steps back and concessions and the gains of revolution were lost to the enemies in the end. Therefore, it is important to wage an uncompromising and merciless struggle against the class enemies without any concession.

DPRK Anniversaries to Be Commemorated in Tanzania

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- An inaugural ceremony of the Tanzanian National Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Day of the Sun and February 16 in 2007 was held in Dar-Es-Salaam on Dec. 2. The minister of Information, Culture and Sports, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the ceremony.
    The preparatory committee set the period of commemoration from Dec. 2, 2006, to Apr. 20, 2007, and decided to organize colorful events during the period.

S. Korean Police Authorities' Repressive Measure Denounced

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- Members of human rights organizations including the Bar Association for Democratic Society called a press conference in Seoul on Dec. 6 to denounce the police authorities for banning rallies and demonstrations, according to south Korean KBS. They referred to the fact that the police authorities recently took suppressive measures one after another banning any rally and demonstration against the negotiation for conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. "Free Trade Agreement".
    This is an action of violating democratic freedom and rights of the people, they stressed.
    At the end of the press conference the participants conducted information activities protesting the "government" and authorities' ban on rallies and demos despite interruption by the police.

Neo-conservatives' Distortion of History Protested in S. Korea

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Federation of University Student Councils (Hanchongryon) reportedly issued a statement in denunciation of the history distortion by the neo-conservatives on Dec. 4. Recalling that the neo-conservatives egged a group of swindlers called "Textbook Forum" to make public the "final edition of textbook on modern and present history" full of distorted contents on Nov. 29, the statement said: This history textbook is no less bad and dangerous than the distorted history textbooks made by the Japanese reactionaries.
    The statement referred in detail to the fact that in the textbook the neo-conservatives justify Japan's colonial rule and praise the fascist dictators. The recent distortion of history textbook fully revealed the reactionary nature of the ultra right-wing conservatives advocating "neo-conservatism".
    The statement further said:
    The "Textbook Forum", which has no historian, declared that it would insert in the textbook such nonsensical assertion that "Japan's rule was good luck to the Korean nation". This behavior can never be pardoned.
    Hanchongryon, together with students aspiring after progress, will struggle to check the moves of the neo-conservatives, poison of the times, and throw them as well as the "Grand National Party" into the dustbin of history.

Troops' Pullback from Iraq Urged in S. Korea

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification reportedly made public a statement titled "Immediately withdraw Jaitun Unit, hired troops for the U.S. aggression of Iraq," on Dec. 6. Referring to the fact that a "send-off ceremony" for soldiers of the Jaitun Unit who would be replaced with those in Iraq was held in Kyonggi Province on the same day, the statement said: It was for implementing the "agreement on the extension of the unit's presence in Iraq" decided by the south Korean "government" on Nov. 28.
    The statement expressed indignation at the pro-U.S. treachery of the "government" which has enforced the extension of south Korean troops' presence when most of the countries involved in the U.S.-led war of aggression on Iraq are pulling back their troops from there though belatedly.
    There is no justification for the Jaitun Unit to stay in Iraq any longer, the statement said, urging the "government" and the "National Assembly" to promptly withdraw the dispatched troops from Iraq as demanded by the people.

U.S. Intervention Rejected in S. Korea

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the National Alliance of Youth and Students for the Country's Reunification reportedly made public a statement on Dec. 5 in denunciation of the reckless remarks by William Perry, former U.S. secretary of Defense, who openly showed hostility towards the south Korean people's anti-American sentiments. The statement referred to the fact that on Dec. 1, Perry showed enmity toward the anti-U.S. struggle of the south Korean people of different social standings, who gave defeat to the pro-U.S. traitorous "Grand National Party" in the "presidential election" in 2002, and blared the south Korean "government" should not use anti-U.S. sentiments.
    The anti-American sentiments growing in south Korean society are entirely attributable to all sorts of crimes committed by the U.S. there south Korea, the statement said, adding: the U.S. would be well advised to mind its own business, clearly seeing its present position.

U.S. and S. Korean Warlike Forces' Anti-DPRK War Moves Blasted

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warlike forces were reported to have agreed to round off "CONPLAN 5029" the keynote of which is how to cope with "an emergency situation" by someone. This is an intolerable provocation openly revealing the ambition to invade the DPRK. Papers Sunday carry commentaries in this regard.
    The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean military warlike forces agreed to round off a practical "military operation plan" by materializing the "CONPLAN 5029". This fully revealed their criminal intention to antagonize and totally deny the DPRK's idea and system and invade and dominate it at any cost, Rodong Sinmun says.
    The paper goes on:
    The U.S. imperialists and its allies are now getting evermore vicious in the hostile moves against the DPRK. The U.S. imperialists are staging exercises of preemptive attack on the DPRK's strategic facilities while tightening economic sanctions and intensifying military pressure on it. The south Korean warlike forces, too, are stepping up the military reinforcement and the development of up-to-date war equipment, asserting about "new environment for security" and "threat".
    The facts prove that "dialogues" and "peaceful solution to the nuclear issue" on the lip-service of the United States and the south Korean authorities are nothing but a deception and their intention to invade the DPRK by force remains unchanged.
    The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers should clearly know that it is nothing but a daydream for them, preoccupied by the ambition for invasion of the DPRK, to expect "an emergency situation" of somebody.
    The DPRK will show no mercy to any aggressors seeking to debase its dignity and system and invade it.

    If they ignite a war of aggression on this land at any cost the army and people of the DPRK will mobilize all war deterrent forces they have built up under the banner of Songun to deal merciless blows at the aggressors.

World Day of Broadcasting for Children Marked

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- The DPRK government will strictly implement the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea for children in the future, too, to give full play to the advantages of the best Korean style socialism centered on the popular masses. Minju Joson Sunday stresses this in a signed article dedicated to world day of broadcasting for children.
    There are excellent facilities and schools for children in different parts of the DPRK and the policy for children is being implemented ahead of all other policies of the state and society, the article says:
    Such social practices as ill-treatment against children and employment of children common in different countries are prohibited in the DPRK by the law. The State pays deep attention to fully cultivating and displaying talents of children and, after all, many excellent children have been produced one after another in our country. Greetings to President of Burkina Faso

    Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Thursday sent a message of greetings to Blaise Compaore, President of Burkina Faso, on the occasion of the national day of his country. The message expressed belief that the friendly relations between the two countries would grow stronger in the future.

Important Anniversaries in DPRK Observed in Laos

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Round-table talks, photo and book exhibitions, film shows and an art performance took place in Vientiane from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2 on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 89th birth anniversary of the anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk. On display in the venues of the functions were works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and photos showing the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il.
    Secretary and deputy secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union at the round-table talks said that all the achievements made by the Korean people are ascribable to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, stressing that the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union supports the Korean youths who hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem and will make positive efforts to boost the friendship and solidarity between the youth unions of the two countries.
    The secretary of the youth union, addressing the photo and book exhibitions, expressed belief that the Korean people would always emerge victorious under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
    The participants of the film show watched Korean film "The Brilliant History of the Great Leadership."
    Colorful art pieces including Korean songs "Song of General Kim Jong Il", "Let the National Flag of the Republic, Our Tri-Color Flag, Fly" and Lao songs were staged on those occasions.

Korean People's Efforts for Peace Supported in Chad

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Chad is opposed to any threat of armed forces to the Korean Peninsula and supports the Korean people's efforts for peace. President of Chad Idriss Deby said this when receiving credentials from the DPRK Ambassador E.P. to Chad Kim Pyong Gi on Nov. 30.
    The president said he has always followed the situation on the Korean Peninsula with attention.

Pamphlet "Down-with-Imperialism Union" Issued in Peru

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The National Association of Writers and Artistes of Peru on Dec. 1 brought out in pamphlet article titled "Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU)" written by its First Vice-Chairman Estuardo Martinez Perez, who is vice-president of the General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institute. The pamphlet carried a photo of young Kim Il Sung at a time when he was bringing up revolutionaries of the younger generation bringing the Juche-oriented line of the Korean revolution into maturity.
    The article recalled that Kim Il Sung formed the DIU on Oct. 17, 1926, adding that the DIU became the roots of the Workers' Party of Korea and its formation meant the start of the Korean revolution.
    Noting that the Songun idea originated from the DIU, the pamphlet stressed that the Songun revolutionary cause has been successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Il.
    No formidable enemy can ever bring down the DPRK where the leader, the party and the masses are single-mindedly united.

DPRK Players Prove Successful at 15th Asiad

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Myong Hwa, a shooter from the DPRK, bagged a gold medal in women's individual game of skeet event on Dec. 7. Meanwhile, Kim Myong Hwa, Pak Jong Ran and Pak Kum Hui came second in the women's group game to catch silver medals.
    The DPRK women's soccer team placed first in its group by beating the south Korean team 4:1 in the last preliminary round held on Dec. 7.
    The DPRK women's team will face the Chinese team in the semi-finals on Dec. 10.

S. Korean Authorities Urged to Stop Anti-Reunification Plots

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The European Regional Headquarters of the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification reportedly made public a statement on Dec. 2 to denounce the south Korean police authorities for arresting and investigating Kang Sun Jong, advisor to the Reunification Solidarity of south Korea, on the charges of violation of the "National Security Law" and "espionage." The statement said that the recent ceaseless plots hatched by the pro-U.S. conservative forces including the Grand National Party of south Korea are nothing but anachronistic reckless actions to check the nationwide movement for reunification and wrest power, taking advantage of the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK.
    Branding the pro-U.S. conservative forces in south Korea as sycophantic traitors leaving the destiny of the nation to the tender mercy of outside forces, the statement demanded they stop at once hatching plots against the June 15 era of reunification and repeal the anti-reunification law NSL.

General Strike of Workers Unabated in S. Korea

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- At least 130,000 members of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) reportedly went on with their fierce all-out strike on Dec. 5, too, in protest against the authorities' adoption of the evil law on part-time jobs and suppression of the labor movement. The participants held a rally to vow to win in the all-out strike in front of the "National Assembly" building in Seoul.
    Jo Jun Ho, chairman of the KCTU, in his speech at the rally bitterly denounced the authorities for railroading through the NA the evil bill on part-time jobs aimed at mercilessly trampling down upon the life of the workers under the absurd pretext of "protecting part-time jobs."
    Noting that the ranks of the workers participating in the strike to win legislation on guaranteeing rights to the part-time workers are daily increasing, he declared they are sure to emerge victorious in the struggle.
    Those who made solidarity speeches declared they would stage dynamic actions in different parts of Seoul.
    The rally was followed by a demonstration.

Japan's Ambition for Reinvasion under Fire

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Papers Saturday carry commentaries 65 years after the Japanese imperialists ignited the Pacific War. Descendants of Japanese samurai are totally distorting and denying the past war of aggression by describing it as a "liberation war", a war for "independence and prosperity" of Asian countries in a bid to repeat the history of the past crimes, say the commentaries.
    A signed commentary of Rodong Sinmun points out:
    The descendants of Japanese samurai are now resorting to the moves for reinvasion, which brings most serious concern and uneasiness to the world.
    Japan is prohibited by law to have the armed forces of war and conduct any military action against other countries. But Japan is now rushing headlong along the road of unlimited armaments expansion and arms buildup in disregard of the legal restrictions. Japan has already established institutional mechanism enough to make any military action if it wants. Japan is seeking to realize its ambition for continental aggression in the new century at any cost by way of exercising armed forces with strong military power.
    A typical example of this is Japan's brigandish claim for "dominium" over the territory of other country. The samurai descendants are intentionally provoking Koreans by claiming "dominium" over Tok Islet of Korea. They are trying to open the road of comeback to Korea and furthermore to Asia by grabbing the islet, part of the inviolable territory of Korea.
    Japan has put off the mask of a "pacifist state" and presented itself as a dangerous state of war, the force of aggression.
    The samurai descendents should give up their anachronistic ambition for reinvasion, mindful that the Korean and other Asian peoples today are not what they were in the past when the Japanese imperialists ignited the Pacific War.
    A commentary of Minju Joson warns that their reinvasion will lead them to final ruin, saying that the peace and security of Asia are seriously threatened by the reckless moves of the Japanese reactionaries to repeat the history of crimes.

GNP's Anti-DPRK Racket of Confrontation and War under Fire

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- A deplorable situation is prevailing in south Korea due to the moves of the Grand National Party though it is standing at the crossroads of independence or subjugation, peace or war and democracy or fascism. The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland issued a statement Friday in this regard. The GNP's anti-DPRK hysteria for confrontation and war has gone beyond the danger line, the statement said, and went on:
    The GNP let loose a spate of invectives against its fellow countrymen in the north, talking about "threat" and "disaster" over its deterrent for self-defence while shutting eyes to the U.S. nuclear weapons for aggression. As if it were not enough with this, it is now crying out for applying "sanctions against the north even by not ruling out a war," bereft of reason to ponder over the serious consequences to be entailed by its treacherous act.
    The GNP is a top-class nuclear war servant party of the U.S. as it does not bother to jump into fire with faggot on its back, calling for not ruling out even a war in collusion with foreign aggressors, utterly indifferent to the destiny of the country and the nation.
    The GNP clan incited distrust and stand-off between the north and the south in the past, talking about "unification by prevailing over communism", "reunification under the liberal democratic system" and "reunification by absorbing the north". Though the nation lives in the June 15 era the GNP is working hard to stamp out the idea of "By our nation itself" and hamstringing the nation's efforts for reconciliation and cooperation while totally denying the idea itself.
    Such act of the GNP clearly proves that its anti-reunification moves have reached an extremely mean and reckless phase as it insists that it can not get reconciled, cooperate and co-exist with the fellow countrymen in the north with the differing ideology.
    The GNP is a foreign party going by the Korean name as it is a group of pro-U.S. henchmen and top-class servants who are prolonging their remaining days under the U.S. patronage.
    It is a group of fascist remnants and their descendents who are marginalized being censured and denounced by the people. It is keen to bring back the bygone days when they were engrossed in treachery, fascism and anti-reunification acts lording it over the people, backed by the U.S. which has manipulated the successive pro-U.S. dictatorial regimes in south Korea for the past more than half a century.
    There is nothing to be expected from the GNP.
    It is as clear as noonday that the whole of south Korea will turn into a hotbed for the U.S. nuclear war and the Korean nation fall victim to it once the GNP is allowed to seize power. Then the June 15 joint declaration will be reduced to a dead paper and the tour of Mt. Kumgang and the construction of the Kaesong Industrial Zone will be totally stopped and south Korea will come under the second "Yusin" fascist dictatorship.
    The south Koreans can not live in peace nor can the whole nation evade a disaster as long as the GNP is at large just as any chronic tumor is bound to get worse if it is left unoperated.
    The south Korean brothers and sisters should never pardon the most wicked traitors including the GNP but throw them into the graveyard of history through a resolute and merciless struggle to be buried there for good.
    The statement calls on all Koreans to wage a nationwide struggle to meet the challenges of the U.S. and other anti-reunification war forces including the GNP and achieve independence, peace and reunification under the banner of "By our nation itself" enshrined in the historic June 15 joint declaration.
    It expressed the conviction that the south Korean brothers and sisters would deal a telling blow at the GNP, a group of the most despicable sycophantic traitors, never forgetting the nightmare of military fascism that tormented them in the past.

Multimedia Program "Korean Pharmacopeia" Produced

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Multi-media program "Korean Pharmacopeia", its sixth edition, was produced recently. This was developed by scientists and technicians of the Korean Pharmacopeia Committee and the Pulunbyol Information Center through their concerted wisdom and efforts as required by the trend of the development of standardization of medicament on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the start of the work for instituting the "DPRK Pharmacopeia". In the DPRK the institution of the pharmacopeia has made progress, giving full play to the advantages of the correct public health policy of the Workers' Party of Korea and the socialist healthcare system.
    The Korean Pharmacopeia Institution Committee was set up in December of Juche 45 (1956). This helped establish a well-regulated system for observing the law and discipline as regards drugs and ensuring the scientific and technological verification of medicament. The subsequent period witnessed the institution and publication of the first version of "Korean Pharmacopeia" which helped thoroughly establish a drug verification and quality guarantee system.
    The institution of "Korean Pharmacopeia" made rapid progress under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Il who has shown profound loving care for the promotion of the people's health. As a result, continued editions of pharmacopeia were instituted and published.
    IT was introduced to the institution of pharmacopeia, a basic book containing regulations on medicament and a legal standard which obliges the relevant units to observe it in the development, standardization, production, supply, storage and management of medicaments. This has brought about a drastic turn in ensuring the proper installation and use of pharmacopeia database, effective processing and editing of its information and in its supply and service.

Greetings to Popular Liberation Movement of Angola

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Saturday sent a message of greetings to the Central Committee of the Popular Liberation Movement of Angola today on its golden jubilee. The message said that in the past five decades the movement put an end to the colonial rule of the imperialists and achieved the national independence through its long armed struggle and gained great successes in its efforts for national reconciliation and unity and stability and reconstruction of the country after the independence.
    Expressing the belief that the good relations of friendship and cooperation between the WPK and the movement would further expand and develop in the interests of the two parties and the two peoples, the message wished the movement greater success in the work for its development and prosperity of the country.

Message of Sympathy to Vietnamese PM

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Pak Pong Ju, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, sent a message of sympathy to Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of Vietnam, in connection with the cyclone that hit the central and southern parts of Vietnam, causing big human and material losses. Extending deep sympathy and consolation to the Vietnamese government and the population in the afflicted areas, the message expressed belief that the prime minister and his government would eradicate the aftermath of the natural disaster and bring their living to normal as early as possible.

S. Korean Security Authorities' Fascist Outrage under Fire

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The south Korean security authorities recently arrested former vice-chairperson of the South Headquarters of the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification (Pomminryon) on the charge of "espionage for the north". A spokesman for the North Headquarters of Pomminryon in a statement on Dec. 9 termed this fascist act a political plot of the south Korean security authorities and other pro-U.S. ultra-right conservative forces to cook up a "spy-ring case" in a bid to block the advance of the progressive reform forces and restore the fascist dictatorial regime under the backstage manipulation of the U.S. by applying the same method as done in the past period of military fascist dictatorship.
    The statement said:
    The groundless whirlwind of arrest kicked up by the security authorities is mainly aimed to punish the pro-reunification patriotic figures and bring the June 15 era for reunification back to the era of confrontation era at any cost.
    Their trumpeting about "spy-ring case" had already been proved by history to be politically motivated since the advent of the June 15 era. This diatribe will never help mislead the mindset of the people towards reunification.
    It is a challenge to the advance of the times that they again orchestrated such long-bankrupt charade as the above-said "spy-ring case" to accuse her for the mere reason that she got in touch with compatriots in the north in the era of independent reunification when the idea of "By our nation itself" has become an irresistible trend of the times.
    The south Korean security authorities should face up to the trend of history and immediately stop the unreasonable suppression of the pro-reunification patriotic figures including those related to Pomminryon.

Kim Jong Il inspects Command of KPA Unit 946

    Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected the Command of KPA Unit 946 honored with the title of O Jung Hup-led 7th regiment. He went round the room devoted to the history of the unit, guided by the commander of the unit.
    The unit has performed shining exploits in the defence of the country and socialist construction, he said, underscoring the need for the servicepersons of the unit to preserve and develop this brilliant tradition and thus demonstrate its might as an invincible contingent.
    He dropped in at the operation commanding room to learn about the unit's performance of duty. He praised the servicepersons of the unit for performing their combat duties in a responsible manner, keeping themselves in a tense and mobilized posture.
    Going round the military lecture room, he expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the unit is preparing all its commanding officers as able ones fully capable of skillfully organizing and commanding any difficult operations and combats by building a modern military lecture room and organizing effective trainings to boost the operation commanding ability and fully devoting creative wisdom and energies to putting training on a scientific basis.
    He acquainted himself with how the political work is conducted among its servicepersons, making the rounds of the servicepersons' hall, library, video-recording and VCR and CD room and other entertainment and educational facilities.
    Praising the unit for having made its servicepersons enthusiastic readers, he called for encouraging them to read a lot of books of various kinds so as to more firmly arm them with the WPK's revolutionary idea and steadily improve their cultural attainment.
    He learned about how the unit has created a thick woodland and greenery, walking round the compound of the barracks kept neat and tidy to demonstrate the majestic appearance of a regular armed force.
    He highly appreciated the patriotic devotion displayed by the servicepersons of the unit, greatly pleased to learn that they planted trees in the compound of the barracks and on the nearby mountains covering more than a hundred hectares and tended them with good care, thus creating a thick forest with ardent patriotism.
    He took deep care of the servicepersons' living, looking round supply service facilities of the unit.
    He highly praised the commanding officers and soldiers of the unit for having upheld the party's Songun policy with loyalty, noting that the unit has done a lot of things in all aspects including the strengthening of its combat capability and management.

Kim Jong Il inspecciona subunidad de la Division de Tanques No. 105

    Pyongyang, 9 de diciembre (ATCC) -- El Dirigente Kim Jong Il, Secretario General del Partido del Trabajo de Corea, Presidente del Comite de Defensa Nacional de la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea y Comandante Supremo del Ejercito Popular de Corea, inspecciono una subunidad directamente subordinada a la Division de Tanques No. 105 Ryu Kyong Su "Seul Vanguardia" del EPC. 　Estaba colmada de infinita emocion y jubilo esta subunidad que acoge al Comandante Supremo por 22a vez desde el inolvidable 25 de agosto del 49 (1960) de la Era Juche en que el dejo su primera huella de la direccion mediante el Songun (priorizacion militar).
    　Luego de hacer conocimiento del estado de cumplimiento del deber de la subunidad, el Comandante Supremo vio ejercicios de los militares.
    　Se mostro muy satisfecho de que todos los militares crecieron como combatientes preparados tanto en lo ideo-politico y tecnico-militar como fisicamente, siendo capaces de defender con firmeza la patria socialista y de pelear a solas contra cien enemigos y presento las tareas para el aumento de la combatividad de la subunidad.
    　Al recorrer el aula de leccion general, la sala de educacion y otras instalaciones de cultura y educacion, hizo conocimiento del estado de la labor politica sobre los militares.
    　Evaluo que la subunidad realiza sustancialmente la educacion revolucionaria y clasista usando diversos datos y, en particular, forma a los militares como heroes del nuevo siglo al desplegar activamente una campana para aprender el noble espiritu revolucionario del heroe Ri Su Bok y otros martires revolucionarios.
    　Senalo que la Division de Tanques No. 105 Ryu Kyong Su, que sirvio de cantera de las fuerzas armadas tanquistas de nuestro pais, fue una unidad vanguardia tanto en el combate como en la idea y asevero que ella debe seguir exaltando ese honor al dar continuidad a esas tradiciones brillantes de lucha.
    　Acto seguido, recorrio el dormitorio, comedor, cocina, bano, almacen de alimentos subsidiarios y otras instalaciones de intendencia.
    　Al recorrer el almacen de autoabastecimiento donde estaban repletos los alimentos subsidiarios cosechados este ano en el huerto de autoconsumo, dijo que esto es un precioso fruto de los valiosos esfuerzos de nuestros militares que encarnan el espiritu revolucionario de autososten y lucha tenaz.
    　Anadio que la agricultura para el autoabastecimiento es buena para multiplicar la diligencia y la creatividad de los militares.
    　El Comandante Supremo dejo como recuerdo a los uniformados de esta subunidad binoculos y fusil automatico y se fotografio junto a ellos.
    　Le acompanaron los generales de ejercito del EPC Ri Myong Su, Hyon Chol Hae y Pak Jae Gyong y el subjefe de departamento del CC del PTC Hwang Pyong So.

Periodicos condenan el intento de agresion de reaccionarios japoneses

    Pyongyang, 9 de diciembre (ATCC) -- Los descendientes de los samurais japoneses niegan totalmente la historia de agresion del pasado describiendola como la "guerra de liberacion y la para la independencia y prosperidad" de los paises asiaticos. Esto parte de su intento para reproducir la historia criminal del pasado.
    Asi insisten los periodicos capitalinos en sus comentarios individuales publicados este sabado en relacion con el 65o aniversario de la provocacion de la Guerra del Pacifico por los imperialistas japoneses.
    El comentarista del diario Rodong Sinmun senalo que las maniobras de nueva agresion de los descendientes de los samurais devienen uno de los problemas que causan mayor preocupacion e inquietud del mundo y continuo:
    La constitucion japonesa prohibe la posesion de las fuerzas armadas belicas y las actividades militares contra otros paises. Pero, Japon desprecia tales medidas de restriccion juridica y se inclina cada vez mas al camino del ilimitado aumento armamentista.
    Este pais isleno preparo ya los aparatos institucionales para desplegar cualquier actividad militar que se le antoje. Por eso, trata de realizar a toda costa en el nuevo siglo su ambicion de agresion al continente, fracasada en el pasado, mediante el uso de las poderosas fuerzas armadas.
    Lo demuestra su bandidesca conducta de reclamar la "jurisdiccion" sobre la isla Tok de Corea.
    Tomando por punto de partida la usurpacion de esa isla coreana, los imperialistas japoneses tratan de abrir el camino de nueva agresion a Corea y el resto de Asia.
    Ahora, Japon emergio como peligroso Estado de guerra y fuerzas agresivas quitandose la mascara del "Estado pacifista".
    Los descendientes de los samurais japoneses deben tener en cuenta el hecho de que el pueblo coreano y los otros asiaticos no son los de aquel tiempo cuando Japon provoco la Guerra del Pacifico y abandonar su anacronica ilusion de nueva agresion.
    Por su parte, el periodico Minju Joson senala que debido a los imprudentes actos de los reaccionarios japoneses que tratan de repetir la historia criminal, estan amenazadas gravemente la paz y la seguridad de Asia y advierte que la nueva agresion de Japon es precisamente el camino de autodestruccion total.

CRPP emite acta condenatoria al "Gran Partido Nacional"

    Pyongyang, 9 de diciembre (ATCC) -- Debido al "Gran Partido Nacional" (GPN), en el Sur de Corea se da una situacion muy critica en estos tiempos cuando la poblacion surcoreana se halla en las disyuntivas de la independencia o la subyugacion, la paz o la guerra, la democracia o el fascismo. Al respecto, el Comite por la Reunificacion Pacifica de la Patria (CRPP) emitio la vispera un acta condenatoria a esa agrupacion politica.
    Ultimamente, sobrepasan su limite alarmante el belicismo y la locura del "GPN" por la confrontacion con la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea, senala el texto y prosigue:
    Los compinches del "GPN" no se atreven a cuestionar ni en lo minimo las armas nucleares agresivas de Estados Unidos, pero, pronuncian improperios de toda clase sobre el disuasivo nuclear para la autodefensa del coterraneo Norte calificandolo de "amenaza" y "desastre".
    Para colmo, abogan ahora por "sancionar al Norte recurriendo hasta a la guerra si es necesario" sin reflexionar de las nefastas consecuencias que tendran sus actos traidores.
    Por cierto, esta entidad es el lacayo mas fiel a EE.UU. que para realizar el intento de su amo de desatar una guerra nuclear contra la RPDC, no repararia en lanzarse al fuego con la gasolina.
    Entonces, no le importa ni un comino al "GPN" el futuro del pais y la nacion ni el destino de los compatriotas.
    Al igual que en el pasado cuando fomentaban la desconfianza y confrontacion entre el Norte y el Sur de Corea esgrimiendo las doctrinas de la "reunificacion basada en la victoria sobre el comunismo", la "reunificacion bajo el sistema democratico liberal" y la "reunificacion de absorcion", tambien en la actual epoca del 15 de Junio los tipejos del "GPN" se niegan al mismo ideal de "entre nosotros, los connacionales" y frenan la reconciliacion y colaboracion nacionales.
    Tal conducta significa que no se puede reconciliar, cooperar y convivir en ningun caso con los connacionales nortenos porque tienen ideologia e ideal distintos. Al mismo tiempo, corrobora fehacientemente que llegaron a una fase sumamente virulenta e imprudente los actos anti-reunificacion de ellos.
    El "GPN" es un partido extranjero con militantes disfrazados de coreanos que viven como parasitos pegados a EE.UU.
    Esta entidad, en que estan agrupados los remanentes fascistas, marginados por la historia siendo objeto de condena y denuncia de los habitantes, y sus descendientes, se esfuerza desesperadamente hoy por reconstruir el viejo mundo en que por encima de las masas populares, practicaba los actos vendepatrias, fascistas y anti-reunificacion bajo el amparo de EE.UU. que durante mas de medio siglo, vino controlando los sucesivos "poderes" de dictadura proyanquis del Sur de Corea.
    No hay nada que esperar del "GNP".
    Si asume el poder esta organizacion caracterizada por el servilismo a EE.UU. en el tema de guerra nuclear, la oposicion a la reunificacion y la represion fascista, todo el territorio surcoreano se convertira en la fuente de la guerra nuclear y todos los coreanos seran sus victimas.
    Igualmente, se invalidara completamente la Declaracion Conjunta del 15 de Junio, se interrumpiran totalmente el turismo al monte Kumgang y la construccion de la zona industrial de Kaesong y se resucitara la segunda dictadura fascista de "renovacion".
    Si se deja intacto un tumor maligno, correra un grave riesgo el cuerpo humano. Por lo tanto, si no se disuelve el "GPN", los habitantes surcoreanos no podran vivir en paz y toda la nacion coreana no podra evitar desastres.
    Los compatriotas y hermanos del Sur de Corea no deben perdonar jamas a la horda de traidores de pesima calana, inclusive el "GPN", y castigarlos implacablemente de modo que ellos no puedan revivir.
    El CRPP llama a intensificar en el ambito pannacional la lucha por lograr la independencia, la paz y la reunificacion frustrando los desafios del "GPN" y otras fuerzas belicistas anti-reunificacion bajo la bandera de "Entre nosotros, los connacionales" indicado en la historica Declaracion Conjunta Norte-Sur del 15 de Junio.
    Aprovechando esta ocasion, el CRPP expresa su confianza en que los compatriotas y hermanos surcoreanos castigaran duramente al "GPN" sin olvidar nunca las pesadillas del pasado sufridas por la dictadura fascista militar.

APRP condena a las autoridades surcoreanas de seguridad publica

    Pyongyang, 9 de diciembre (ATCC) -- En los ultimos dias, las autoridades surcoreanas de seguridad publica detuvieron al ex vicepresidente de la Direccion Surena de la Alianza Pannacional por la Reunificacion de la Patria (APRP) acusandolo de "espia norcoreano". Esto es un complot politico de las autoridades de seguridad publica y otras fuerzas conservadoras ultraderechistas proyanquis quienes bajo el control trasero de Estados Unidos, intentan detener el avance de las fuerzas reformistas progresistas y resucitar el "poder" de dictadura fascista inventando el "incidente del grupo de espias", lo que deviene un metodo rutinario de aquel periodo de la dictadura fascista militar.
    Asi senala el portavoz de la Direccion Nortena de la APRP en una declaracion fechada 9 y continua:
    　Esta detencion injusta tiene por su objetivo principal ejecutar a las personalidades patrioticas pro-reunificacion y retrogradar a toda costa la epoca del 15 de Junio a la de enfrentamiento del pasado.
    Pero, en la epoca del 15 de Junio, ellas no podran frustrar jamas la aspiracion del pueblo a la reunificacion con tales maniobras ya caducas.
    En la era de reunificacion independiente, en que el espiritu de "entre nosotros, los connacionales" deviene la tendencia infrenable, resulta un desafio a la epoca la invencion del "incidente del grupo de espias" bajo acusacion de haber tenido contactos con los compatriotas norcoreanos.
    Las autoridades surcoreanas de seguridad publica deben ver correctamente la corriente de la historia y cesar ahora mismo la criminal represion a los hombres relacionados con la APRP y otras personalidades patrioticas pro-reunificacion.
