Kim Jong Il's Work Published in Egypt

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il's celebrated work "Giving Priority to Ideological Work Is Essential for Accomplishing Socialism" was printed in pamphlet in Egypt on Jan. 30. The work, published on June 19, Juche 84 (1995), clarifies the idea that top priority should be given to the ideological work in all matters to successfully accomplish the socialist cause and the idea that main task of the ideological work is to imbue the whole society with the socialist idea and this work should be done in principles and method suited to the intrinsic demands of socialism.

Important Day of DPRK Observed Abroad

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- A seminar on the Songun politics was held in Karachi of Pakistan, a lecture at the Kim Jong Il Library in Tanzania and a photo exhibition and a film show by the Laos-Korea Tin Company between Jan. 23 and 26 to celebrate the birthday of Kim Jong Il. Displayed in the venue of the photo exhibition were pictures showing the personality of Kim Jong Il as a great man.
    The participants in the film show watched the Korean film "Mt. Paektu, Spirit of Korea."
    The chairman and the secretary general of the Society for the Study of Self-Reliance of Pakistan at the seminar explained in depth the root, features, validity, and great vitality of the Songun politics. They stressed that the DPRK would advance the human cause of independence to victory, repulsing the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists, under the banner of Songun in the future, too.
    The deputy secretary of the Coast Regional Committee of the Revolutionary Party of Tanzania in the lecture stated that the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for global independence would be everlasting.
    The director of the Laos-Korea Tin Company said that looking around the photos on display, he came to know better about the popular traits of Kim Jong Il. The Korean people led by him will build a great, prosperous and powerful nation in near future, he added.

Int'l Preparatory Committee Formed to Mark February 16

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The International Alliance of the Eastern European and Central Asian Regional Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Songun Politics inaugurated an international preparatory committee for celebrating February 16 and adopted a resolution on it in Sankt-Peterburg, Russia, on January 27. The committee consists of members of parliaments from different countries in the region.
    The chiefs and representatives of Juche idea study organizations in the region held a seminar on Internet to significantly celebrate February 16, the birthday of Kim Jong Il, the resolution noted, and said:
    We agreed that a body sponsoring the celebration events is needed to activate the work of disseminating the Juche idea and the Songun politics, and decided to form the International Preparatory Committee for Celebrating February 16 with the international alliance as an umbrella.
    We reached an agreement in views that it is especially important for the countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia to introduce the experiences of the DPRK in line with their specific conditions.
    One of the main political aims of the committee is to foil the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK.
    Acknowledging the necessity and urgency to introduce the Juche idea and the Songun politics in accord with realities, we are going to draw and execute a unified plan to conduct a more active study and dissemination of Kim Jong Il's works on the Juche idea on the occasion of February 16.
    Meanwhile, the Thai Preparatory Committee for Celebrating February 16 was formed on Jan. 29.
    The chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand and the chairman of the Thailand-Korea Friendship Association were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee.

Meeting for Reunification and Progress Held in S. Korea

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- A meeting of officials of the South Headquarters of the National Alliance of Youth and Students for the Country's Reunification (Pomchonghakryon) was reportedly held in Seoul from Jan. 23 through 24 to accelerate the struggle for reunification in 2007. The speakers at the meeting underlined the need to foil the U.S. moves for sanctions and war against the DPRK through a struggle for peace against the U.S. and war and escalate the struggle to throw overboard the Grand National Party, a war party dead-set against national reunification.
    A declaration of struggle of the South Headquarters of Pomchonghakryon for this year was read out at the meeting, which said that the youth and students would turn out in the struggle to implement the three-point task of attaching importance to the nation, maintaining peace and achieving unity to add brilliance to the June 15 reunification era.
    It urged the need for the youth and students to strengthen the All-Korean Committee for Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration, put their movement on a mass basis and take the lead in the struggle to achieve the great alliance against conservatism so as to foil the GNP's attempt to seize power in the "presidential elections" this year.
    A lecture and speeches on the themes of "Understanding of the Songun Policy" and "History of the U.S. Imperialists' Aggression", etc. were given at the meeting.

Rodong Sinmun on Revolutionary Traits of Korean People

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Sunday dedicates an article to the 15th anniversary of the publication of Kim Jong Il's famous work "Let Us Cement the Single-minded Unity and Give Full Play to the Korean Nation-First Spirit". U.S.-Japan Tie-ups for Distortion of History under Fire

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The United States has used as a textbook for middle school students a Japanese novel "Story of Yoko" which describes as if the Korean people "maltreated" Japanese in the closing years of the Japanese imperialist colonial rule over Korea, according to CBS of south Korea. This proves that the U.S. has joined Japan in distorting the historical facts and deliberately insulting the Korean nation, says Minju Joson Sunday in a signed commentary.
    It goes on:
    The Bush bellicose group is trying hard to provoke a war against the DPRK in a bid to swallow up not only south Korea but the whole of Korea by force of arms. The reactionaries of Japan, who revived with the help of the U.S., are also raising their sword of reinvasion, crying out for "sanctions and pressure" on the DPRK.
    For their common interests, the U.S. covers up Japan's crime-woven past by misleading public opinion and instigates Japan to act a shock brigade in realizing its design for aggression on the DPRK. That is why the U.S. has connived and fostered the Japanese reactionaries' distortion of history in conspiracy with them.
    The U.S. and Japan should put a ban on the use of the novel and remove its copies at once, clearly understanding the gravity of the development, and apologize to the Korean nation for insulting it.

Policy for Hegemony Bound to Go Bust

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The imperialists are pursuing a high-handed policy but it is bound to go bankrupt, stresses Rodong Sinmun Sunday. It is the truth of history that the unreasonable and reactionary policy has short wings and is doomed to failure as it hamstrings the desire and will of humankind for independence and goes against the trend of the times toward independence, the daily says, and goes on:
    It is the common desire of peoples around the world to build a new peaceful world free from aggression and war.
    The history has advanced and developed through vigorous and persistent struggle of the people aspiring after independence.
    The U.S. exercise of high-handed policy is a very dangerous act of going against history and peace as it is contrary to the desire and will of humankind for independence and progress. It is a height of folly to calculate that it is possible to dominate the world by force of arms.
    All the countries have equal rights as members of the international community and they are obliged to abide by the rules and principles of international relations.
    The U.S. tramples down other countries by military force as they have differing ideology and system and do not obey it. This is a wanton violation of international law and an act of going against history obstructive to the sound development of the international relations.
    High-handed policy can not work in the present world and it is bound to go bust. This is evidenced by the fact that the U.S. finds itself in a hard corner at present.

Removal of Reactionary Conservatives in S. Korea Urged

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The reactionary conservatives of south Korea such as the Grand National Party should be excluded from the nation promptly as they are the filth of the present era and the most hackneyed force seeking only luxury and glory with dependence on the outside forces. Rodong Sinmun Sunday makes this demand in a by-lined article.
    The above-said right-wing conservatives are shabby traitors who stoop to any treachery to live in comfort and luxury, indifferent to the interests of the nation, the article says, and goes on:
    Daily growing are the desire and demand of the south Korean people from all walks of life to eradicate all sorts of the old and ensure social justice through a campaign for progress and reforms.
    Only a handful of reactionary conservatives are persisting in the old, viciously blocking the social progress and reform.
    A majority of south Korean people have demanded the repeal of the "National Security Law" (NSL) and the withdrawal of the U.S. troops.
    But the conservatives stand against the forces for progress and reform, asserting that the repeal of the NSL means "self-disarmament" and it will "destroy the nature of system." Meanwhile, they call for "reinforced alliance" with the U.S., arguing that south Korea and the U.S. should keep step with each other and the forces urging the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea regarded as "pro-north".
    All the Koreans have hailed the June 15 joint declaration and the idea of "By our nation itself", regarding them as a landmark for national reunification in the present era. However, the GNP and other conservatives of south Korea are dead-set against them.
    The reality clearly shows that the desire of the south Korean people for progress and reform and all the Koreans' wish for peace and independent reunification on the Korean Peninsula can not be realized as long as such pro-U.S. conservatives are left intact.

"International Kim Il Sung Prize" Awarded to Kim Jong Il

    New Delhi, February 2 (KCNA) -- The International Kim Il Sung Prize Council announced in New Delhi on February 1 its decision on awarding the "International Kim Il Sung Prize" to Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his birthday. According to it, the council decided to confer the prize on General Secretary Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his birthday in high recognition of his immortal contribution to the noble cause for global peace and security and the independent development of humankind.

Greetings to Sri Lankan President

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Sunday sent a message of greetings to Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka, on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of its independence. In the message Kim wished the president success in his work for political stability and economic development of the country and expressed the belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would further develop on good terms.

U.S., Japan Hit for Distortion of History

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The United States has used as a textbook for middle school students the history novel written by descendant of a Japanese war criminal which seriously defiles the Korean nation. Such behavior is an intolerable mockery of the Korean nation and an act of going against justice, conscience, truth and history that is little short of painting evil as good and an assailant as a victim. A spokesman for the History Society of the DPRK stressed this in a statement on Sunday.
    As for the novel, it is a book made up of falsehood and fabrication quite contrary to the then historical backgrounds and facts, the statement said.
    Noting that the book describes that Japan occupied Korea through such legitimate process as the "Taft-Katsura Agreement," the statement cited data to prove that such claim is a brigandish sophism.
    It further said:
    The U.S. application of this distorted novel as a textbook is a wrong behavior against common sense, and it is designed to cover up the Japanese imperialists' bloody crime-woven past and mislead the public opinion to use them as a shock brigade in executing aggression and war.
    The U.S. should immediately stop such behavior and, together with Japan, remove copies of the novel and textbooks and make an apology for it.
    The authorities and the Grand National Party of south Korea have turned aside from the case, failing to make even a word of protest, the statement pointed out, saying: Historians and other people from different circles in south Korea should resolutely denounce the U.S. and Japan for their distortion of history and nexus for aggression.

Homage to Kim Il Sung Paid

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The participants in the meeting of front-runners of the Songun revolution visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on Sunday to pay respects to President Kim Il Sung.     Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The Tunisian preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Sun and February 16 was inaugurated in Tunis on Jan. 27. Mustapha Fersy, chairman of the Tunisia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.
    The preparatory committee decided to set a commemoration period from Feb. 1 to April 30 during which it will hold various events.

Works of Peerless Great Men Disseminated in Different Countries

    Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A seminar and a lecture on famous works of Kim Jong Il were held by the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea and at Mongolian State University on Jan. 22 and 23 on the occasion of his birthday. The chairman of the Ethiopian group said at the seminar on the work "Let Us Defend and Further Glorify Our Own Socialism under the Uplifted Banner of the Juche Idea" that socialism of Korea is a people-centered socialism based on the Juche idea fathered by President Kim Il Sung.
    It is thanks to Kim Jong Il and the great idea that the DPRK has advanced along the road chosen by itself, not yielding to the moves of the world reactionaries.
    The vice-chairman of the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development said, before his lecture explaining the work "Socialism Is What Keeps Our People Alive," that the Korean people have made long strides, meeting all challenges of the imperialist allied forces, under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.
    Meanwhile, the Nepal Institute for the Juche Studies donated famous works of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il to a middle school on Jan. 19.
    The vice-chairman of the institute and other figures said at the presentation ceremony that the works would help the Nepalese people to have a better understanding of the Korean people who always emerge victorious in showdown with the imperialist allied forces under the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il. In particular, they greatly encourage all the Nepalese people in their efforts to build an independent, peaceful and prosperous, new society, the speakers added.

Maltese Preparatory Committee Formed to Celebrate February 16

Pyongyang City Water System Improved

    Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The project for renovating the Pyongyang City water system has been completed. This will help ensure the production and supply of drinking water on a higher level on the basis of modern equipment and information means.
    A ceremony for the completion of the project was held on the spot on Friday.

S. Korean Police's Gag on Press under Fire

    Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The Internet Journalists Association and other press organizations, the Council of Human Rights Organizations and the People's Solidarity for the Abolition of the "security law" in south Korea reportedly issued a joint statement on Jan. 29 to denounce the police's suppression of Ri Si U, a mediaperson who has devoted himself to dealing with matters related to the U.S. troops and the "UN Command" in south Korea. The statement recalled that through a document obtained in the U.S., Ri exposed the fact that depleted uranium shells are kept in the U.S. military bases in south Korea and has written articles contributing to peace, positively acting as a mediaman.
    The police's crackdown on him cannot be interpreted otherwise than an intention to put a gag on the specialist as the issue of dissolving the "UN Command" was raised recently, the statement said, holding that the SL, which encourages such anachronistic repressive moves as wanton violation of freedom of speech, should be scrapped at once.

Moves for Revival of Fascist Dictatorship Blasted in S. Korea

    Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The authorities of the Hapchon County Office in South Kyongsang Province, south Korea, decided to call a park in the county "Ilhae Park," which is the nickname of traitor Chun Doo Hwan. In this connection, public circles of south Korea have strongly denounced it as a move to revive the fascist dictatorship, according to a press report. The Kwangju-South Jolla Provincial Measure Committee against Ilhae Park, consisting of ten civic and public organizations in Kwangju including the Association of May 18 Men of Merits for Democracy and Bereaved Families, issued a statement on Jan. 29 at which it said that the county office authorities' decision to rename the park in "memory of" the traitor is as good as an act of going back to the past era of fascist dictatorship and stabbing a dagger into all the people desirous of democracy.
    The statement contended that traitor Chun Doo Hwan is a dictator and murderer.
    The south Korean Journalists Association in a statement on Jan. 30 said that Chun, a military dictator, is the chief culprit of the Kwangju massacre and suppression of the press and a kingpin of illicit fortune, adding that it is nonsensical to "honor" such guy.

No to Revival of Dark Era in S. Korea

    Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- On Jan. 23 the south Korean Court declared not guilty the eight persons who had been sentenced to capital punishment on charges of violation of "emergency measure No.1," "National Security Law" and "the anti-communist law" and "conspiracy of a rebellion" after drawing the conclusion that the case of the "Committee for the Reconstruction of the People's Revolutionary Party" was faked up through harsh acts including torture. This court ruling once again brought to light the "Yusin" dictator's cruel killings of innocent people. Minju Joson Saturday says this in a signed commentary.
    It goes on:
    The case was a conspiratorial case in which the dictator used again the already disclosed case of "the People's Revolutionary Party" in a bid to stay long in power.
    As those who were killed on charges of involvement in the above-said case were declared not guilty more than 30 years later, the Grand National Party of south Korea (GNP) has become the target of public criticism.
    The south Korean people are now strongly demanding the GNP and the daughter of the "Yusin" dictator, in particular, come out to apologize for the anti-communist cases faked up in the past period of fascist dictatorship. It is quite a just assertion.
    Nevertheless, the GNP gentry are only keen to grab power, far from uttering even a word of apology.
    If they are allowed to come to power, they will bring no doubt disastrous consequences to south Korea. It is as clear as a pikestaff that there will rage the same whirlwind of fascist tyranny and confrontation as what was under the "Yusin" dictatorship and more cases similar to the above-mentioned case will be fabricated to kill innocent people on false charges.
    It is the only way of preventing the revival of the dark rule of fascist dictatorship to deter the descendants of the dictator from usurping power again.

Anti-DPRK Outbursts of GNP Representative Blasted

    Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The representative of the Grand National Party of south Korea called a "New Year press conference" on Jan. 26, asserting it is allegedly aimed at exercising the "right to refute" the "New Year address" made by the chief executive. He went so impudent as to serve a "warning" to the north, letting loose a spate of balderdash that "the north's nukes and missiles pose a threat to the Korean Peninsula and the global peace" and "it is necessary to urge the north to dismantle its nukes and opt for peace as early as possible."
    A news analyst of Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in this regard: The representative of the GNP at the "New Year press conference" began with slandering and attacking not only the authorities of south Korea but forces for progressive reforms and, not content with this, went the lengths of pulling up and admonishing the DPRK. This was nothing but a spate of vituperation and provocative remarks.
    When looking back on history, peace on the Korean Peninsula has been threatened by the U.S. imperialist aggression troops and the south Korean warlike forces, the conservative forces opposed to reunification including the GNP in actuality. The above-said U.S. aggressor forces, equipped with all types of ultra-modern weapons of mass destruction including nukes, have watched for a chance to invade the north, pursuant to the U.S. policy of aggression towards the DPRK, and those trigger-happy forces of south Korea have followed the road of confrontation with the north and war, backed by the U.S.
    The DPRK has built up the nuclear deterrent despite all hardships, guided by the will of all its servicepersons and people for self-defence because it is possible to counter the enemy equipped with nukes with nukes only. It is a reality that the majority of the south Koreans agree with this and feel proud of the north's nuclear deterrent.
    The responsibility for compelling the DPRK to have access to nukes also rests with the GNP, a war servant of the U.S.
    Had not the military dictators who ruled south Korea before the GNP allowed the U.S. introduction of nuclear weapons to it, the issue of the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula would not have cropped up and had not they permitted the U.S. interference and domination over south Korea while keeping its occupation forces after faking up a "resolution on opposing the withdrawal of the U.S. forces", the independent and peaceful reunification of the peninsula would already have come true.
    Now is the June 15 era for reunification. To reject pro-north people at a time when the north and the south should get reconciled and cooperate with each other to solve the issue of peace and promote co-existence and co-prosperity is like a declaration of war as it is an open negation of the north and a declaration of continued confrontation with it and a revelation of an intention to scrap the June 15 joint declaration and put an end to the June 15 era.
    What the GNP seeks is to keep everything in Korea divided by perpetuating the territorial division and deepening the social division, etc.
    It is none other than the GNP gentry who are so weak as to cling to the coattails of the aggression forces, taken aback by a mere word of independence uttered by someone.
    It is an inveterate habit of the GNP group to depend on outsiders. It feels no shame as its days are numbered.
    In the final analysis, the GNP gentry staged the above-said charade in a bid to win popularity under the pretext of exercising the "right to refute" the above-mentioned "New Year address" but it only brought into bolder relief their true colors as traitors.
    It is clear from the recent press conference that the GNP has finally betrayed its ulterior intention and unsheathed its sword to hurt not only the north but the forces supporting the June 15 joint declaration.
    It is nothing but a political cartoon and an ugly conduct for the GNP, the worst party of traitors in history, to pull up others.

Rodong Sinmun on Immortal Feats of Kim Il Sung

    The book "Story of Yoko" is an autobiography-novel written by Kawashima Yoko, daughter of a Japanese war criminal. She was 11 years old at the time of the defeat of the Japanese imperialism. The book describes as if Koreans maltreated and sexually assaulted Japanese on their way to the Japan proper.
    It also asserts that Japan occupied Korea, which was subject to the scramble of big powers, through such legitimate process as the "Taft-Katsura Agreement."
    The U.S. application of this distorted novel as textbook for students is designed to cover up the past crimes of Japan and mislead the public opinion to use it as a shock brigade in executing aggression and war. This brings into bolder relief the truth that the U.S. and Japan have been conspiring to launch aggression on Korea.
    All the Koreans in the north and the south and abroad should never allow the U.S. and Japan, which cruelly violated the destiny of the Korean nation through their nexus for aggression on it a century ago, to run amuck to invade it again while burying their crime-woven past into oblivion.

Japanese Authorities' Suppression of Chongryon under Fire

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The Communist Party of Mexico in a statement on Jan. 29 strongly denounced the Japanese authorities' recently intensified suppression of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) at the U.S. back and call as a wanton violation of human rights and international law. Saying that the suppression is intended to stamp out Chongryon, the statement demanded an immediate stop to it.
    It expressed full support to the Koreans in Japan struggling to defend their rights to independence and existence.

Japan's Crackdown on Chongryon Assailed

    Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The policy authorities of Japan are keen in the crackdown on the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) from the outset of this year. On Jan. 28 they searched Chongryon-related institutions and houses of Korean residents in Japan and arrested its official and a Korean businessman. What is more intolerable is that they arrested the businessman in hospital who was caught with cerebral infarction during the search before being carried there.
    In this regard, Rodong Sinmun today says in a signed commentary:
    The Japanese reactionaries extremely antagonize and persecute Chongryon and Korean residents for the mere reason that they support their motherland. They are, indeed, a clan of barbarians in human skin and a group of gangsters engrossed in high-handed practices and terrorism.
    Japan is not entitled to talk about rule by law and human rights as it is the most shameful and disgusting country in the world. It is ridiculous for Japan, a rogue state which has mercilessly violated the human rights of Korean residents, to style itself as an "advanced country".
    Japan is further lurching to militarism and the Right as the days go by and its reactionaries are making desperate efforts to stifle Chongryon at any cost as part of its hostile policy toward the DPRK.
    But it is a miscalculation and a daydream to do so.
    No matter how desperately the reactionaries of Japan may try, they can neither stamp out Chongryon under the protection of its homeland with powerful national strength nor break the steadfast patriotic will of the Korean residents in Japan.
    The authorities of Japan would be well advised to ponder over the present developments and immediately stop repressing Chongryon and Korean residents and violating their human rights for a sinister purpose.

Rodong Sinmun fustiga al representante del "GPN"

    Pyongyang, 3 de febrero (ATCC) -- El pasado 26 de enero, el representante del "Gran Partido Nacional" del Sur de Corea concedio la "rueda de prensa del ano nuevo" pretextando ejercer el "derecho a contradecir" el "discurso por la misma ocasion" pronunciado por el actual mandatario surcoreano. Ese dia, este tipejo se atrevio a "advertir" e "instruir" a la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea diciendo que las "armas nucleares y misiles norcoreanos representan una amenaza para la paz de la Peninsula Coreana y el resto del mundo" y "exige al Norte de Corea que renuncie cuanto antes a sus armas nucleares y emprenda el camino de la paz".
    Al respecto, el diario Rodong Sinmun difunde este sabado un comentario individual que va como sigue:
    Esa "entrevista" provocativa del representante censuro tambien a las autoridades surcoreanas y las fuerzas reformistas progresistas.
    La historica y verdadera amenaza para la paz de la Peninsula Coreana reside en la politica agresiva de Estados Unidos a la RPDC, las tropas agresoras del primero que acechan la oportunidad para atacar a la segunda con artefactos nucleares y otras armas de destruccion masiva y las fuerzas belicistas y las conservadoras opuestas a la reunificacion quienes persiguen la confrontacion fratricida con el Norte y la guerra contra este bajo la tutela del imperio.
    Puesto que es posible paralizar con armas nucleares a los enemigos armados con las mismas, de acuerdo con la voluntad de todo el ejercito y pueblo de defender la patria por cuenta propia, la RPDC preparo su disuasivo nuclear resistiendo y superando multiples pruebas.
    La abrumadora mayoria de la poblacion surcoreana da visto bueno a tal medida del Norte y se enorgullece de ser integrantes de la nacion coreana con artefactos nucleares.
    Ademas de EE.UU., el "GPN", conocido como mayordomo del primero en las maniobras belicistas contra el Norte, tiene la responsabilidad de haber empujado a este a poseer el arma nuclear.
    Si los dictadores militares, antecesores del "GPN", no hubieran permitido la entrada en suelo surcoreano de armas nucleares norteamericanas, ni se habria surgido el problema de la desnuclearizacion de la Peninsula Coreana.
    Ademas, si ellos no hubieran tolerado la intervencion y el dominio de Estados Unidos y suplicado el estacionamiento de las tropas ocupantes del imperio fraguando hasta el "proyecto de resolucion negativa a la retirada de las mismas", ya se habria alcanzado hace mucho tiempo la reunificacion independiente y pacifica de la Peninsula Coreana.
    Estamos viviendo la epoca de reunificacion iniciada el 15 de junio.
    En estos tiempos en que el Norte y el Sur de Corea deben resolver el problema de la paz y promover la coexistencia y los intereses comunes reconciliandose y colaborandose mutuamente, el hostigamiento a los "simpatizantes con el Norte" significa la negativa abierta y el anuncio conflictivo a este, siendo el manifiesto de echar abajo la epoca iniciada al aprobarse la Declaracion Conjunta N-S del 15 de Junio.
    Esa agrupacion politica se caracteriza por el separatismo como hacer perenne la division nacional y agudizar la dispersion social.
    Por eso, estos compinches tan vulnerables y sinverguenzas tienen tremendo miedo a la misma palabra de independencia y buscan su refugio en las tropas agresoras yanquis porque es un vicio cronico de ellos el servilismo a las fuerzas extranjeras.
    Aunque en su intento de elevar su popularidad ellos justificaron el motivo de la "entrevista" como el ejercicio del "derecho a contradecir", solo resaltaron mas en esta ocasion su naturaleza antinacional.
    Se puede sacar la siguiente conclusion de esa "rueda de prensa": el "GPN" declaro la guerra tanto al Norte de Corea como a las fuerzas partidarias surcoreanas a la Declaracion Conjunta del 15 de Junio.
    Resulta una caricatura politica que esta agrupacion traidora, que tiene todas las manchas sucias de la historia, osara cuestionar a otros.

Hay que impedir la repeticion de la era de oscurantismo en Sur de Corea

    Pyongyang, 3 de febrero (ATCC) -- El pasado 23 de enero, un tribunal surcoreano sentencio la inocencia de 8 personas ejecutadas a pena capital por cargos de violacion de la "medida urgente no. 1", la "ley de seguridad" y la "ley anticomunista" y de planeamiento de una "conspiracion preparatoria de rebelion", tras admitir que el "incidente del Comite para la Refundacion del Partido Revolucionario Popular" (CRPRP) es un caso manipulado con torturas y otros tipos de vejacion. 　De esta manera, se conocio otro crimen tan infame del dictador de "renovacion" que mato a su capricho a numerosos habitantes inocentes.
    Senala asi el rotativo Minju Joson en un comentario individual de este sabado y prosigue:
    　El caso del CRPRP, inventado por el dictador para continuar siempre en el poder, fue la reedicion del "incidente del Partido Revolucionario Popular", cuyo caracter fraudulento ya se revelo hace mucho tiempo.
    Al conocerse ese fallo de inculpabilidad de 8 victimas del caso del CRPRP a mas de 30 anos de su ejecucion, el "Gran Partido Nacional" se halla ahora bajo la avalancha de criticas de la opinion publica.
    Los habitantes surcoreanos demandan fuertemente al "GPN", en particular, a la hija del dictador de "renovacion", que pidan disculpa por tales complots anticomunistas fraguados en el regimen de la tirania fascista.
    Sin embargo, los compinches de esta entidad solo andan enloquecidos por arrebatar el poder sin pensar ni en lo minimo en el perdon. Cuando ellos tomen el poder, en el Sur de Corea se reeditara la epoca de fascismo y confrontacion al igual que el periodo de la dictadura de "renovacion" y se reportaran otros incidentes similares al caso del CRPRP, que sacrificaran a muchos inocentes mas.
    Para impedirlo, hay que frustrar el intento de los descendientes del dictador de "renovacion" de tomar de nuevo el poder.

Terminada obra de reconstruccion de acueductos de Pyongyang

    Pyongyang, 3 de febrero (ATCC) -- Se completo una obra para mejorar el sistema de acueductos de Pyongyang. 　Gracias a ello, se aseguraran en un alto nivel la produccion y el suministro de agua potable a base de las instalaciones modernas y medios informaticos.
    Tuvo lugar el dia 2 en el mismo terreno una ceremonia de inauguracion de acueductos.
    En la ocasion estuvieron presentes el ministro de Urbanismo Choe Jong Gon, el presidente de la Asociacion de Amistad Corea-Kuwait y vicepresidente del Comite Coreano de Relaciones Culturales con el Extranjero Jon Hyon Chan, el vicepresidente del Comite Popular de la Ciudad de Pyongyang, Han Hyon Sop, y otros funcionarios asi como trabajadores capitalinos.
    Tambien se distinguian los miembros de la delegacion del Fondo de Kuwait para el Desarrollo Economico Arabe presidida por su subdirector general Hesham Al-Waqayan, de visita en Corea.
    Tras escuchar un discurso del ministro de Urbanismo, los participantes recorrieron los acueductos renovados.

Tunez: comite preparatorio para efemerides coreanas

    Pyongyang, 3 de febrero (ATCC) -- Quedo constituido el 27 de enero en Tunez el Comite Preparatorio para el Dia del Sol (15 de abril, cumpleanos del Presidente Kim Il Sung) y el 16 de febrero (cumpleanos del Dirigente Kim Jong Il). 　Como su presidente fue electo Mustapha Fersy, titular de la Asociacion de Amistad Tunez-Corea.
    　La entidad naciente decidio fijar del primero de febrero al 30 de abril como ciclo de festejo y organizar diversas actividades.
