Its production cost is one third of formalin and iron sulphate. It, water-soluble contact agent, does not harm to human, farm crops, domestic animals and fishes.
It is widely introduced in production on co-op farms.
Beautiful Scenery of Secret Camp in Mt. Paektu
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- The visitors to the Secret Camp in Mt. Paektu, the birth place of Kim Jong Il, marvel at its beautiful scenes in February.
What is most wonderful is the frostwork.
The needle-leaved trees in rows along the roads are dressed with frosts.
The trees, bushes and mosses on cliffs of Jong Il Peak rising imposingly as well as the sunrise rock, fleet-steed rock and general's rock are all covered with frosts. They present a silver-white world like a illusory one.
The sun rises over the sunrise rock, turning Jong Il Peak red and the flying frost in Sobaeksu Valley shines brightly in various colors and some times forms rainbows. This scenery leads the viewers to ecstasy.
Though knee-deep snow is heaped on the banks of the stream, the Sobaek Stream with the headspring in Mt. Sobaek is meandering down around the secret camp.
The snow-capped large and small stones in the stream look like polar bears.
Snowstorm on Jong Il Peak forms the acme of the snow-covered landscape of the secret camp.
The snowstorm on the peak like a lighthouse on the sea of the Paektu forests presents a spectacular sight.
Willow trees on the banks of the Sobaek Stream near the native home have opened catkins some time ago, delighting the visitors.
The mysterious beauty of the secret camp adds luster to the greatness of the peerlessly illustrious commander Kim Jong Il.
U.S. Arms Buildup under Fire
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- The United States recently carried out a test-fire of a new-type Tomahawk missile.
There is no doubt that when it is deployed for action, the offensive capacity of the U.S. against its adversary will increase, notes the analyst of Minju Joson Tuesday, and goes on:
This new-type cruise missile is said to increase the combat capability of warships and markedly shorten the time of the approach of the missile to the objects as it, unlike the former Tomahawk, can take another sight at a new target appearing while in flight.
This shows that the U.S. is making desperate efforts for the qualitative improvement of offensive capacity and increase of "defense capacity."
It is not because there is any worry about its security matter that the U.S. is getting overheated in the development of a new cruise missile and establishment of the missile defense system (MD). Truth to tell, a military entity threatening the security of the U.S. is nowhere to be seen.
The U.S. connects everything related to the MD with the DPRK. By finalizing the MD targeted against the DPRK it seeks to lay a foundation for a preemptive attack and, through it, establish its military control over the Korean Peninsula.
The hectic push of the U.S. for the MD is a serious criminal act of gravely threatening and wrecking peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and other parts of the world and leading to a new arms race.
With no amount of artifice can the U.S. conceal its true colors as the chief criminal fostering and aggravating the new arms race and harassing world peace and security.
The U.S. would be well advised to stop at once its arms buildup, pondering over the catastrophic consequences it would entail.
U.S. Trounced for Going against Dialogue
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is deploying ultra-modern military hardware in south Korea, Japan and other areas around the Korean Peninsula while intensifying offensive military exercises targeted against the DPRK. Branding this as a deliberate and premeditated act to push the situation on the peninsula to the brink of a war, a Rodong Sinmun analyst Tuesday says:
It is self-evident that it is impossible to expect sound negotiations in the war atmosphere and, even if negotiations are held, they cannot substantially contribute to ensuring peace.
Contacts and talks through various channels are now underway for the settlement of the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula. It can not but be an open denial of dialogue and harassment of peace for the U.S. warlike forces to escalate military threat to the DPRK while massively shipping the ultra-modern military hardware to areas around the peninsula at this time.
The U.S. attitude of whetting sword for aggression behind the scene while paying lip-service to a negotiated solution to the issue is a criminal act aimed at hindering and scuttling the dialogue.
It is the consistent stand of the U.S. to carry its Asian strategy into practice with the Korean Peninsula as the springboard. It intends to realize its ambition to dominate Asia by implementing its Korea strategy through a preemptive nuclear attack and expanding the war beyond the boundary of the Korean Peninsula.
The daily escalating moves of the U.S. to provoke a new war in Korea compel the people of the DPRK to bolster military deterrent to defend the country's sovereignty.
The U.S. would be held fully accountable for the serious consequences to be entailed by its reckless moves for a war of aggression against the DPRK.
