Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il's famous work "Kimilsungia Is an Immortal Flower which Came into Bloom in the Hearts of Humankind in the Era of Independence" was brought out in booklet in Indonesia on Mar. 31.
This work came off the press on April 6, Juche 94 (2005).
Important Day in DPRK Observed in Ethiopia and Democratic Congo
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- A seminar took place in Ethiopia and a reading session in Democratic Congo on Mar. 26 and 27 on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.
Nigatu Dagnachew, chairman of the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea, at the seminar highly praised Kim Jong Il as the sun of the 21st century as he has led the human cause of independence to victory with his unique Songun leadership, adding that it has become a global trend to follow the Songun idea.
Bele Moukeleng, chairman of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of University of Kinshasa, at the reading session said that it is entirely thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il that socialist Korea has won one victory after another, frustrating the anti-DPRK moves of the imperialists.
Kamwiziku Octave, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo, said that its followers would make positive efforts to know better about the true picture of the DPRK, in which the Juche idea has been embodied, and learn from it.
National Exhibition and Public Presentation of Machine Designs Held
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- The 3rd national exhibition and public presentation of machine designs was held in Pyongyang under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Korean General Federation of Science and Technology.
Introduced there were achievements made in working out and materializing new designs to produce more machines as required by the IT age.
Drawing interest of the visitors were a design of new type machine and its general assembly plan developed in an indigenous way, various programs developed during computer-aided designing and achievements made in developing databases and modernizing information and technical means for designing.
Also introduced there were self-developed plotter and homepage and information on scientific and optimized designing.
S. Korean Organization Declares No to FTA
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking south Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement reportedly held a press conference in a place near Chongwadae on April 2 at which it declared the results of the negotiations for the conclusion of FTA totally null and void.
A press release read out at the conference said that the authorities hastily struck the deal on FTA with the U.S. in defiance of the desire of the people, stressing that it would wage a dynamic action to force the present pro-U.S. and undemocratic regime to step down.
When the results of the negotiations are open to the public, the authorities' sycophancy and treachery will be brought into light, the press release pointed out, saying that the organization would intensify the movement for the total nullification of what was agreed upon at the negotiations, the prevention of its ratification at the "National Assembly" and the resignation of the "government".
For the present, it will hold candlelight cultural events and big rallies across south Korea in protest against the concluded FTA.
More than 700 members of the headquarters held a candlelight cultural event that evening in protest against the south Korean authorities' humiliating behavior.
Anniversary of Chondoism Observed
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- The "Heaven Day Ceremony" was held in Pyongyang Thursday to commemorate the 147th anniversary of the foundation of Chondoism.
Present there were Chairwoman Ryu Mi Yong, Advisor O Ik Je and officials of the Korean Chondoist Church Central Guidance Committee and Chondoists in Pyongyang.
Vice-chairman of the committee said in his speech at the ceremony that Chondoism, the indigenous religion of the Korean nation, enunciated such patriotic ideas as "Broad salvation of the people," "Paradise," "Rejection of West and Japan" and "Promotion of the National Interests and Welfare of the People" after its foundation and has since worked hard to materialize them for the past nearly one and half centuries.
It is the long-standing desire and tradition of Chondoism, he added.
Noting that it is important to glorify the June 15 era of reunification by attaching importance to the nation, defending peace and achieving unity in order to accomplish the historic cause of national reunification, the cause of national historical significance, he said to do so is the only way of realizing the desire of Chondoism and means genuine patriotism.
The participants prayed for the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea and the earliest possible achievement of national reunification so that the desire of Chondoism can come true.
S. Korean Judicial Authorities' Fascist Action under Fire
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- Some time ago, the south Korean judicial authorities imposed heavy punishment upon those related to the "case of Single-minded Association." This action was fascist tyranny against the DPRK and reunification as it is aimed at blocking national reconciliation and reunification.
Papers today observe this in signed commentaries carried in this regard.
The case cooked up in October last year was a sheer fabrication as it lacked clear evidence and those related to the case completely denied the charge, Rodong Sinmun notes, and goes on:
The case is nothing but a charade orchestrated on the basis of a scenario worked out in a secret chamber of the Intelligence Service. This is clearly evidenced by the fact that those related to the case testified at the hearing that what they did was just the discussion they had on the issue of the reunification movement with the DPRK and the name of the "Single-minded Association" was the first words they heard while they were interrogated at the "Intelligence Service."
The successive south Korean regimes fabricated big "spyring cases" to chill the warm desire of the people for reunification whenever the movement for achieving reunification through alliance with the north mounted in south Korea. But the reunification movement advanced and the truth behind the false cases was clearly probed.
The ultra-right conservative forces of the south Korean security authorities are clinging to dastardly methods to achieve their ulterior aim, but their cheap farce will get them nowhere.
Minju Joson in a signed commentary terms the recent action taken by the south Korean judicial authorities to punish people on false charge of espionage after fabricating the groundless case by linking them to the DPRK a deliberate and premeditated plot to deter the inter-Korean ties from warming up and bring back the era of confrontation.
Imperialists' Crafty Method for Domination Blasted
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- A carrot approach being taken by the imperialists serves as a lever to carry out their appeasement strategy. This is a very crafty and wicked plot to create illusion about them by appeasing and deceiving their opponents in a bid to benumb their anti-imperialist spirit and completely disarm them ideologically and morally.

The above-said approach may bring consequences as dangerous as open aggression by force of arms.
One should not interpret the above-said approach as a sort of change in the aggressive nature of the imperialists. The carrot approach of the imperialists which is bound to be accompanied by appeasement tactics and smiling diplomacy is designed to do harm to their opponents at a slow pace till they prove ineffective in face of their moves for domination and end up collapsing.
It is the aim sought by the imperialists in the above-said approach to create illusion about them and thus put other countries under the yoke of domination and subjugation and gratify their interests.
The imperialists, while acting an "apostle of peace" by abusing the wish of humankind for a peaceful free world, are craftily working to confuse the spirit of people and cause them to harbor illusion about imperialism.
They are intensifying economic domination and subjugation of other countries by such levers as "aid", "cooperation" and "loan".
This is eloquently proved by the reality of those countries which have been put under the yoke of political subjugation after receiving the "aid" and "loan" offered by the imperialists as a "kind gesture."
There will be disastrous consequences for those countries which abandon their revolutionary principle and meet the imperialists' demand, taken in by glossy words uttered by them as part of their appeasement policy. Worse still, their wrong behavior may lead to the loss of their sovereignty. All countries should, therefore, be vigilant against the imperialists' carrot approach and should not be tempted by it under any circumstances.

DPRK Representative Demands Stop to Suppression of Koreans in Japan
Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- Japan should immediately stop its suppression of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and Koreans in Japan and its discrimination against them.
A DPRK representative demanded this, when discussing the report presented by a special rapporteur on opposing racism and national discrimination to the 4th meeting of the UN Human Rights Council on Mar. 28.
Recalling that the special rapporteur in his report took note of the fact that the Koreans in Japan, in particular, are subject to suppression and discrimination in Japan and proposed measures for putting an end to them, the DPRK representative said this was very important.
He said that Japan has become brutal in its political suppression and human rights abuses against Chongryon and Koreans in Japan, something unprecedented since the formation of Chongryon.
Citing facts to prove Japan's frantic crackdown upon Chongryon, he noted that it mobilized heavily armed police forces to perpetrate an unreasonable search operation against at least 30 objects including the Headquarters and branches of Chongryon and Korean schools and indiscriminately arrest innocent people.

This reminds one of something that happens only in battlefields as it goes beyond the conception of suppression and discrimination.
No wonder, political parties, organizations and media of different countries of the world termed Japan's suppression of Chongryon a gross violation of the publicly recognized international law and a crime against humanity.
We request the special rapporteur to continue putting pressure upon the Japanese government till Japan puts an end to the suppression of Koreans in Japan and its national discrimination against them.

Pyongyang, 5 de abril (ATCC) -- Los periodicos de este jueves, al denunciar la reciente represion de las autoridades judiciales del Sur de Corea que impusieron penas severas a los involucrados en el "caso de la sociedad Ilsim", la califican de fechoria fascista contra la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea y de intento de obstaculizar la reconciliacion y la reunificacion de la nacion.

@El caso en cuestion reportado en octubre del ano pasado es una pura invencion carente de pruebas claras que niegan totalmente los involucrados.
Es una farsa intrigante escenificada segun un guion elaborado en las camaras secretas del "Centro de informacion". Durante el juicio los involucrados en el "caso" declararon que ellos mismos habian consultado con el Norte de Corea sobre el movimiento por la reunificacion y que habian oido por primera vez el termino la "sociedad Ilsim" en el curso de la interrogacion del "centro de informacion".
Historicamente, cada vez que en el Sur de Corea cobraba auge la tendencia por la reunificacion en alianza con el Norte, se fraguaron los "casos de grupos de espias" echando agua fria al anhelo de reunificacion de los habitantes. Pero, el movimiento por la reunificacion marchaba adelante y se esclarecieron los verdaderos aspectos de los casos inventados.
Con tal farsa grosera las fuerzas conservadoras ultraderechistas del Sur de Corea no podran convencer a nadie.
El periodico Minju Joson lo califica de una conspiracion de quienes tratan de impedir la mejora de las relaciones con el Norte y hacer retornarlas a la confrontacion.
Indonesia: obra de Kim Jong Il en folleto
Pyongyang, 5 de abril (ATCC) -- Una Empresa de Edicion e Imprenta de Indonesia dio a luz el 31 de marzo en folleto la obra maestra del Dirigente Kim Jong Il "La Kimilsungia es la flor inmarcesible brotada en el alma de la humanidad de la epoca de independencia".

III Exhibicion y Presentacion Nacional de Disenos de Maquinas
Pyongyang, 5 de abril (ATCC) -- Tuvo lugar en esta capital la III Exhibicion y Presentacion Nacional de Disenos de Maquinas, bajo los auspicios del Comite Central de la Federacion General de Ciencias y Tecnicas de Corea.
En el certamen fueron anunciados los exitos logrados en trazar y llevar a la practica nuevos disenos para aumentar la produccion de las maquinas conforme a la demanda de la epoca de informatica.
Atrajeron la atencion publica un diseno y plano de ensamblaje general de maquinas desarrolladas al estilo coreano, distintos programas utilizados en el proceso de disenos computerizados, los exitos logrados en el proceso de exploracion de bases de informaciones y los datos sobre la modernizacion de los medios tecnicos de informacion de disenos.
Tambien fueron presentados instrumentos de diseno y Pagina Web, desarrollados nuevamente, y unos datos sobre la cientifizacion y la optimizacion de los disenos.
