Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il sent a congratulatory message to Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, chairman of the National Democratic Party of Egypt and President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on Thursday.
The message said:
I extend heartfelt congratulations to you on your 79th birthday.
I wish you good health and happiness and greater success in your work for the country's stability and prosperity, the Arab unity and fair and comprehensive settlement of the Mideast issue.
Day of Sun Commemorated
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- Meetings were held in Russia, Venezuela, Nigeria and Tunisia from Apr. 12 to 15 on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
Speeches were made at the meetings.
Omar Marcano, chairman of the Venezuela-Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group, and Omar Lopez, chairman of the Venezuelan National Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, highly praised President Kim Il Sung as the sun of the Korean nation as he defeated the Japanese imperialists through an armed struggle and liberated Korea, a great hero who inflicted a shameful defeat upon the U.S. imperialists who had boasted of being the world's "strongest" in the three year-long Korean war and started the downhill turn for them and a great leader who built a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence on the land of Korea.
The commissioner of Science and Technology of the Niger state government of Nigeria lauded Kim Il Sung as the most outstanding political elder in the world history of politics, expressing the belief that the Korean people would build a great prosperous powerful socialist nation in the near future under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, a successor to the cause of the President.
Messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings in Venezuela and Tunisia.
More Dynamic Actions for Glorifying June 15 Era Called for
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The director of the Worker and Peasant Department of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF) issued a statement on May Day, according to the Kuguk Jonson Internet site.
The statement said that AINDF would join the toiling masses of this land in a more strenuous struggle to bring about a new reunified society for the people free from outside forces.
Noting that even the elementary vital rights and dignity of the people are being ruthlessly violated due to the U.S. colonial domination and plunder that lasted for more than six decades, the statement went on:

Mass Gymnastic Display "Place Dear to General" Given
Kanggye, May 2 (KCNA) -- Mass gymnastic display "Place Dear to General" was given at the Kanggye Stadium on May 2 by school youth and children in Kanggye City.

U.S. Attempts to Dominate World with Strong Arm Ridiculed
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The United States has carried matters with a high hand, wielding a strong arm like a conquering hero in the international arena, only to find itself forced to pay a high price for it, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Thursday.
Branding it as an anachronistic dream to attempt to bring other countries to their knees and dominate them by a strong arm, the author of the article continues:
The strong-arm policy of the U.S. is the root cause of the harassment of global peace and security and the uneasiness and horror of the people.
The policy of strength, the strong-arm policy, can never go down with the present-day international community in which all the countries and nations are shaping their destinies independently, as it is an anti-historic criminal act aimed to dampen the independent desire of the popular masses.
There were few rulers of the U.S. who did not launch a predatory war of aggression, but the Bush bellicose group, which came to power in the new century, is more outspoken than any other in pursuing the strong-arm policy.
This gives a serious lesson to humankind. It is that humankind can never have a good night's rest and a global peace and security are unthinkable with the U.S. imperialists left alone, those who are working hard to drive the world into horror and hold sway over it by a military strong-arm action. Even the U.S. allies which had been following its lead are cutting off ties with the Bush group, sounding a note of warning against its arbitrariness and strong-arm diplomacy, saying "a lasting peace cannot be ensured with military forces alone".
The failure of the U.S. strong-arm policy is found in the stark reality of the DPRK. The U.S. has in recent years persistently resorted to the strong-arm policy against the DPRK advancing under the uplifted banner of socialism, hating it as a thorn in the flesh.
The U.S. imperialists, however, mistook the Korean people.
The Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people have resolutely shattered the aggressive moves of the enemy under the uplifted banner of Songun and further strengthened the war deterrent.
In the reality of Korea, the world people clearly see the invincible might of Songun politics capable of shattering the enemy's strong-arm policy.
Rodong Sinmun on Might of Ideology

Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Thursday sent a congratulatory message to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Muhammad Hosni Mubarak who is chairman of the National Democratic Party of Egypt on his 79th birthday.
Kim in the message wholeheartedly wished the Egyptian president good health and happiness and greater success in his responsible work for the prosperity of the country and the welfare of the people.
Kim Yong Nam Meets South Korean Delegation
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a talk with a delegation of the Northeast Asia Peace Committee of the Uri Party of south Korea led by Kim Hyok Gyu, a national assemblyman from the party, in a compatriotic atmosphere at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Thursday.

Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Il, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, sent a congratulatory message to Martinho N, Dafa Cabi upon his appointment as Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau.
Expressing the belief that the friendly relations between the two peoples would grow stronger in the future, the message sincerely wished the prime minister great success in his responsible work for national unity and social stability.
Myohyangsan History Museum in Korea
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The Myohyangsan History Museum is greeting its 60th birthday.
The museum which was opened on May 3, Juche 36 (1947) is located in the famous Pohyon Temple in superbly scenic Mt. Myohyang.
Preserved in the museum are a lot of precious relics and remains including old buildings, sculptures, pagodas, monuments, paintings, craftworks and printed cultural relics showing the creative talent and artistic skill of the resourceful and industrious Korean people.
The Pohyon Temple representing architecture of the early 11th century is of high artistic value.
The facade of Taeung Hall, major building of the temple, is decorated in kumdanchong and its back side decorated in morudanchong. The four sides of the building are all colorfully painted with danchong patterns, flowers, birds and others, adding beauty to the building.
The Taeung Hall is associated with the brave struggles fought by patriotic Buddhist priests including Saint Sosan against foreign invaders.
In the east of Taeung Hall, there is the Kwanum Hall, in the west of which there is the Mansu Pavilion built for the royal family in 1894 at the close of the Ri dynasty.
A square nine-storey pagoda stands in the yard of the Manse Pavilion and an octagonal 13-storey pagoda in the yard between the Manse Pavilion and Taeung Hall.
The octagonal 13-storey pagoda was erected with exquisitely trimmed granite blocks in the closing years of the Koryo dynasty. The top of the tower is decorated with bronze and bells are hanging from the ends of octagonal eave of each storey, which make beautiful sound even in a breeze.
Preserved in the museum is also the complete collection of Buddhist Scriptures from 80,000 wooden blocks, a national treasure.
The exhibits of the museum instill the national pride and self-confidence in the minds of the visitors.
Weekly Sogwang, Powerful Weapon in Korean Revolution
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The Korean people observe the 70th anniversary of the weekly political newspaper Sogwang of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army founded by President Kim Il Sung in May Juche 26 (1937) in the flames of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.
"Sogwang" means heralding the dawn of the Korean revolution.
The President indicated its main task and editing direction and guided its publication.
He also contributed many articles to the newspaper.
The weekly published many works and treatises of the President including "The Tasks of Korean Communists".
It carried in a systematic way theoretical and practical issues arising in the Korean revolution such as the character and task, motive force and target of the Korean revolution, the character and mission of the people's revolutionary government, the character and fighting purpose of the KPRA, the worker-peasant alliance and the united front.
Given in the paper were data for political and military study of soldiers and officers, successes and experiences made in study and training.
The paper ran news from local correspondents and articles with the urgent vital demand and immediate fighting slogans of the Korean people as the contents. And it featured heroic struggle and battle results of the KPRA and literary works including poems and novels.
It was widely distributed among the units of the KPRA and the organizations of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland. It thus made a great contribution to equipping the guerrillas with the revolutionary ideas and invincible military ideas, protean guerrilla tactics and outstanding commanding art of the President and to educating and training them to be competent political and military cadres and backbone of the revolution.
The foundation of the newspaper Sogwang was of important significance in the revolutionary struggle of the Korean people and in the history of building mass media of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- A delegation of Changdok School led by its Principal Kang Jun Ho left here Thursday to visit China on the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of Jilin Yuwen Middle School.
Meanwhile, the DPRK team led by Hwang Pong Yong, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, came back home today after participating in the 15th World Taekwon-Do Championships held in Slovenia.
The championships drew more than 400 players from more than 70 countries. The DPRK players came first in the country standing by garnering four cups and 14 gold, eight silver and four bronze medals.

Pyongyang, 3 de mayo (ATCC) -- El Consejo por la Reconciliacion Nacional (CRN) hizo publica el dia 2 una carta blanca para revelar y condenar la represion de derechos humanos, el aniquilamiento de derechos humanos elementales y la libertad democratica y los genocidios perpetrados historicamente por las camarillas fascistas surcoreanas mediante la manipulacion de los "casos pro-comunismo".
El documento senala:
Las sucesivas camarillas fascistas del Sur de Corea inventaron los casos "pro-comunismo" para reprimir y asesinar cruelmente a las personalidades patrioticas pro-reunificacion y otros habitantes inocentes.
Esta historia ensangrentada se inicio desde el "regimen" de Syngman Rhee.
Bajo la manipulacion trasera de EE.UU., los dominantes fascistas perpetraron abiertamente el terrorismo contra las personalidades patrioticas para eliminar a sus adversarios politicos acusandolos de "pro-comunistas".
Tambien, a fin de sostener "juridicamente" el "gobierno" divisionista proyanqui, elaboraron en diciembre de 1948 la mas infame "ley de seguridad".

Todos esos elementos surcoreanos pisotearon despiadadamente hasta los derechos humanos elementales y la libertad democratica de los habitantes con su mas barbara dominacion de hierro.
Ellos privaron a los habitantes hasta de los derechos a hablar segun su criterio, ver y escuchar.
Para realizar su ambicion politica, vigilaron y controlaron cada movimiento de todos los habitantes independientemente de edades y sexos, entre otros, politicos, cientificos, hombres de prensa, economistas, religiosos, jovenes, estudiantes, ciudadanos y amas de casa. Y si estos incurrian en acciones poco molestas para si mismos, los detuvieron, acosaron, torturaron y hasta asesinaron.
Los gangsteres militares tomaron como blanco de ejecucion y terrorismo a todos los que les significaban obstaculos para su dominacion fascista, incluyendo los ex "presidentes" octogenarios, los candidatos opositores a la "presidencia" y hasta los subditos fieles.
Todas esas camarillas fascistas perpetraron el indiscriminado genocidio contra los inocentes habitantes.
Todos los casos de exterminio masivo perpetrados desde el periodo inmediatamente despues de la liberacion hasta la fecha por parte de esos fascistas en complicidad con las fuerzas foraneas se registraron en las paginas mas vergonzosas.
El llamado "caso de masacre a los civiles" cometido en la pasada guerra coreana (1950-1953) deviene el suceso representativo que demostro las propiedades de la camarilla fascista como asesino.
En particular, el genocidio de Kwangju ocurrido en mayo de 1980 resulta otro crimen antietico de pesima calana.
En el Sur de Corea existen hasta la fecha las malignas y fascistas leyes incluso la "ley de seguridad", usada antes para la represion de los derechos humanos, y los descendientes y elementos remanentes de las camarillas fascistas tratan de restituir sus regimenes del pasado.
Los compinches del "Gran Partido Nacional", quienes tienen la responsabilidad directa de esos crimenes antieticos, no se disculpan por las fechorias de sus antecesores sino maniobran para ocupar el "sillon presidencial" del proximo periodo hablando atrevidamente de los "derechos humanos" y "ciudadanos".
Esta entidad politica manchada de sangre no tiene cara para hablar de los "DDHH", y debe ser desaparecida una vez por todas para no causar mas maldades.

En la sociedad internacional de hoy en que todos los paises y las naciones forjan de manera independiente sus destinos, la politica de fuerza, la de despotismo, no puede surtir efecto siendo un acto criminal antihistorico encaminado a detener la aspiracion independiente de las masas populares.
Casi todos los presidentes norteamericanos habian provocado guerras de agresion. En particular, en el nuevo siglo, la banda belica de Bush, que se hizo dueno de la Casa Blanca, recurre de modo mas abierto a la politica de despotismo.
Esto da una seria leccion de que la humanidad no puede dormir a pierna suelta ni esperar la paz y la seguridad del mundo mientras existen los imperialistas yanquis que tratan de llevar la batuta en el mundo poniendolo en pavor.
Hasta los paises aliados de EE.UU. hicieron advertencias a las arbitrariedades y la diplomacia coercitiva de la banda de Bush y se retiran de sus relaciones con esta diciendo que "no pueden garantizar la seguridad duradera solo con las fuerzas militares".
La politica de despotismo de EE.UU. se fracasa en Corea.
En los ultimos anos el imperio se aferro obstinadamente a la politica hostil a la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea considerando como espina enclavada en los ojos esta que avanza con la bandera del socialismo.
Pero, el partido y el pueblo de Corea, bajo la bandera del Songun (priorizacion militar), frustraron tajantemente las maniobras de agresion de los enemigos yanquis y fortalecieron aun mas la fuerza disuasiva de la guerra.
En la actualidad, a traves de la realidad de la RPDC, los pueblos del mundo ven correctamente el invencible poderio de la politica de Songun que destruye la politica despotica de los enemigos.
Acto de Pyongyang por el 35o aniversario de obra de Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, 3 de mayo (ATCC) -- Tuvo lugar el dia 2 en la Casa Central de la Juventud el acto de la ciudad de Pyongyang por el 35o aniversario de la publicacion de la obra maestra del Presidente Kim Il Sung "Sobre los tres principios de la reunificacion de la patria".
En la obra el Presidente dilucido los tres principios de realizar de manera independiente y por via pacifica sin ingerencia extranjera la reunificacion de la patria adhiriendose al principio de fomentar la gran unidad nacional y a base de ello indico los problemas concretos que se presentan en la realizacion de la reunificacion del pais.
El informe de la ocasion estuvo a cargo de Yang Hyong Sop, vicepresidente del Presidium de la Asamblea Popular Suprema y del Comite por la Reunificacion Pacifica de la Patria.
Los tres principios de la independencia, la reunificacion pacifica y la gran unidad nacional son el gran programa comun para la reintegracion nacional que el Norte y el Sur confirmaron a traves de la Declaracion Conjunta del 4 de Julio y proclamaron solemnemente en el interior y exterior del pais, dijo el informante y se refirio a la gran significacion historica que tienen esos principios en la lucha de la nacion coreana por la reunificacion.
Subrayo que brillaran de generacion en generacion las hazanas del Presidente quien al presentar los Tres Principios de la Reunificacion de la Patria, el Programa de diez Puntos para la Gran Unidad Pannacional y el Proyecto de la Fundacion de la Republica Federal Democratica de Coryo preparo la mas racional y equitativa guia directriz capaz de realizar cuanto antes la reunificacion del pais e hizo ingentes esfuerzos hasta el ultimo momento de su vida por heredar a la nacion coreana la patria reunificada.
Apunto que el Dirigente Kim Jong Il definio los principios, el programa y el proyecto para la reunificacion presentados por el Presidente como las Tres Cartas para esta empresa nacional y publico las inmortales obras maestras que indican el camino para la reunificacion independiente y pacifica del pais.
Senalo que por mucho que cambie la situacion, son invariables los principios fundamentales y la posicion de la reunificacion de la patria y destaco que todos los coreanos del Norte, el Sur y en ultramar deben mantener con firmeza las tres cartas para la reunificacion de la patria y la Declaracion Conjunta del 15 de Junio y realizar la causa de la reunificacion del pais.

Museo de la Historia de Myohyangsan
Pyongyang, 3 de mayo (ATCC) -- Hoy se cumplen los 60 anos desde cuando quedo inaugurado el 3 de mayo del 36 (1947) de la Era Juche el Museo de la Historia de Myohyangsan, que usa el edificio del famoso templo Bohyon en el muy pintoresco monte Myohyang de Corea.
En el museo se conservan los preciosos vestigios y reliquias que muestran los talentos creadores y habilidades artisticas del inteligente y laborioso pueblo coreano inclusive edificios antiguos y esculturas, la torre cuadrangular de 9 pisos, la octagonal de 13 pisos y lapidas, pinturas y productos artesanales, reliquias culturales de imprenta.
El templo Bohyon representa una elevada arquitectura a principios del siglo XI.
Y tambien el museo tiene la biblia budista grabada en 80 mil xilografias, precioso tesoro nacional de la nacion coreana.
Por lo tanto, tales reliquias y vestigios conservados en el museo infunden a los visitantes el orgullo y la dignidad nacionales por haber demostrado visualmente la historia y cultura de Corea.
