Foreign Ministry Spokesman on DPRK Visit by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA Saturday as regards the visit to the DPRK by the U.S. assistant secretary of State:
Christopher Hill, U.S. assistant secretary of State, visited the DPRK from June 21 to 22.
During his visit he met the DPRK foreign minister and had talks with a vice-minister of Foreign Affairs.
At the meeting and the talks both sides discussed the ways of completely settling the issue of the de-frozen funds just as they had agreed in Berlin in January last and boosting cooperation in the field of financial transaction in the future.
As for the issue of implementing the February 13 agreement, both sides shared the view that they would start implementing the agreement on the premise that the issue of the remittance of the funds is finally settled and had an in-depth exchange of views on the actions to be taken by each side in the next phase before agreeing to deepen contacts and consultations in the future.
The discussions of issues were comprehensive and productive.
Both sides agreed to examine the possibility of holding talks of the heads of the delegations to the six-party talks in the first half of July and opening a meeting of the foreign ministers of the six parties during the ministerial meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum slated to take place in Philippines early in August and cooperate with each other for their realization for the present.
Central Election Guidance Committee Formed in DPRK
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly on June 23 issued its decision No. 96 on organizing the central election guidance committee for the elections of deputies to provincial (city under the direct control of the government), city (district) and county people's assemblies.
According to it, the central election guidance committee was formed with Yang Hyong Sop as chairman, Kim Jung Rin as vice-chairman, Choe Yong Rim as secretary and Ju Sang Song, Kim Kyong Ho, Ryom Sun Gil, Kang Chang Uk, Pak Sun Hui and Kim Yong Ho as members.
Kim Jong Il's Work Published in Russia
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il's work "On Preserving the Juche Character and National Character of the Revolution and Construction" was brought out in pamphlet by the Patriot Office of Russia.
The work, published on June 19, Juche 86 (1997), clarifies the idea that preserving the Juche character and national character of the revolution and construction is a fundamental principle that should be maintained in carrying out the cause of socialism. Also expounded in it are tasks and ways for carrying the idea into practice.
A ceremony of releasing the pamphlet was held in Moscow on June 18. The first deputy editor-in-chief of the Patriot said at the ceremony that the work gives the most scientific answers to the urgent questions facing peoples of all countries aspiring after independence in the present time.
Important Days of DPRK Marked
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- Seminars were held in Egypt and Uganda and a reading session by the Political Bureau of the Pan-African Movement between June 12 and 14 to mark the 43rd anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the 12th anniversary of the publication of his famous work "Giving Priority to Ideological Work Is Essential for Accomplishing Socialism" and the 7th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
Meetings took place in Sweden and Mongolia on June 14 and 15 to commemorate the 43rd anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., WPK and the 7th anniversary of the joint declaration.
Meanwhile, round-table talks were held in Mexico and India, a friendly meeting and a film show in Iran and a lecture in Indonesia on June 13 and 14 on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., WPK.
On display in the venues of the functions were works of the leader and photos showing his Songun revolutionary leadership feats and introducing the achievements made by the Korean people in socialist construction.
Present at the events were personages of political parities, organizations in the above-said countries and regional organizations and invited there were staff members of DPRK missions.
At the film show the participants watched Korean film "The Brilliant History of Great Leadership".
Messages of greetings to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings.
Suppression of Progressive Forces Denounced in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- Ryu Son Min, chairman of the south Korean Federation of University Student Councils (Hanchongryon), reportedly released a statement on June 20 assailing the security authorities' crackdown upon the progressive forces.
The statement recalled that some time ago the security authorities whisked away Choe Sung Hoe, former chairman of the Federation of University Student Councils in Southern Area of Kyonggi Province under Hanchongryon, and Ri Mu Jin, former deputy to Hanchongryon, and arrested Pak Jun Ui, director of the policy-making bureau of the Student Committee of the Democratic Labor Party, on June 18 on the charge of violation of the "National Security Law".
The security authorities are engaging themselves in suppression of the progressive forces by dint of the NSL, the statement pointed out, declaring that Hanchongryon would wage a vigorous struggle to get the decision on defining it as an "enemy-benefiting organization" repealed and the NSL abrogated.
It demanded an immediate halt to cooking up the "case of an organization wire-pulling Hanchongryon" and the prompt release of those arrested.
Full-scale Reunification Movement Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The preparatory committee of the Solidarity for Progress in south Korea reportedly held a "meeting of forerunners from across south Korea in the struggle for peace against war and for independent reunification" in Kumsan County, South Chungchong Province, on June 20 to decide on its action program for the latter half of the year.
Present there were over 200 champions for reunification from different parts of south Korea.
Underlining the need for the forces aspiring after the independent reunification to implement the June 15 joint declaration to the letter, the organization declared at the meeting that it would sponsor a "cultural event for peace" with the attendance of people from all walks of life in south Korea in Seoul on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice Agreement.
It decided to escalate the action of the reunification vanguard for 2007 involving workers, peasants, youth and students, women and all others and hold a meeting for peace against war and for independent reunification and a grand march for reunification in Pusan with August 15 as an occasion.
It stressed that it would wage a more dynamic movement for withdrawal of the U.S. troops and national reunification by further strengthening the solidarity and unity of the progressive camp in the latter half of the year.
Rodong Sinmun on Root Cause of Last Korean War
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists' occupation of south Korea was a root cause of the Korean war in every way.
Rodong Sinmun Sunday stresses this in a signed article carried 57 years after the outbreak of the Korean war by the U.S. imperialists.
Recalling that the U.S. imperialists started on putting into practice their scheme for aggression on Korea with the intrusion of aggressor ship "General Sherman" into the River Taedong in 1866, the article says:
It was an extension of the scheme that they occupied south Korea after the Second World War and divided Korea into two.
The 38th parallel line was set as the line dividing Korea into two, a product of the U.S. imperialists' wild ambition for aggression on Korea and the selfish tacit approval of allied nations. It was the line of grudge as it allowed the U.S. imperialists to occupy south Korea.
Having secured a justification to set their foot of aggression in the Korean Peninsula under the pretext of controlling the "allotted operational line", the U.S. imperialists militarily occupied the whole area of south Korea and got started on the moves to provide a framework for carrying out the Korean war.
On September 11, 1945, they set up the "U.S. military government," appointing the commander of the 7th infantry division of the U.S. forces as its governor and the commander of the U.S. military police as chief of its police office.
They trained "pivots" of the south Korean army and reorganized south Korea's "national defense guard" into the "national defense forces" in September 1948 and classified it into the ground, naval and air forces in November. In May of 1949, they organized five divisions and one brigade involving all branches of arms and specialized service and in June organized the "metropolitan" garrison command and one division to enlarge the ground armed forces to 22 regiments under eight divisions.
In order to modernize the military equipment of the south Korean army with aggression aims, the U.S. imperialists offered south Korea 110 million U.S. dollars of "military aid" enough for fully arming at least 50,000 soldiers in 1949. They also granted U.S.-made M-1s and carbines to the south Korean army units, thus equipping 93.7 percent of the south Korean army with modern arms.
The root cause of the Korean War lies in the fact that the U.S. imperialist gangsters made the 38th parallel line the artificial division line and illegally occupied south Korea by force of arms. The war was started by the U.S. imperialists' attack on the northern half of Korea on June 25, 1950.
Fifty odd years have passed after the war and nearly 20 years after the end of Cold War. However, the U.S. imperialists are still now keeping their occupation of south Korea while running desperately amuck to provoke a second Korean war.
The U.S. imperialists are greatly mistaken. If they ignite a war on this land again, the army and people of the DPRK will bravely turn out to root out the source of the war.
Greetings to President of Mozambique
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Saturday sent a message of greetings to Armando Emilio Guebuza, President of Mozambique, on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of its independence.
Expressing the belief that the good friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would continue to develop on good terms in the future, too, the message sincerely wished the president great success in his work for the progress and prosperity of the country.
Greetings to C.C., Mozambique Liberation Front Party
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Sunday sent a message of greetings to the Central Committee of the Mozambique Liberation Front Party on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of its founding.
The message said that over the last 45 years the Mozambique Liberation Front Party has achieved great successes in the efforts for the independence of the country, socio-political stability and independent development of economy.
Expressing belief that the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties would grow stronger in the interests of the two parties and two peoples, the WPK Central Committee in the message wished the Mozambique Liberation Front Party greater success in the work for the strengthening and development of the party and the prosperity of the country.
Cambodian Preparatory Committee Formed
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- A Cambodian preparatory committee to remember President Kim Il Sung was inaugurated on June 19.
Vice-Premier in Charge of the Royal Palace Kong Sam Ol was elected chairman of the preparatory committee and Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the People's Party of Cambodia Chea Sot its vice-chairman.
The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse events including a remembrance meeting and a seminar on Kim Il Sung's exploits, a film show and photo exhibition and give wide publicity to the immortal revolutionary exploits of the peerless great person through newspapers and broadcasting services and other media on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of demise of the President.
Undying Feats of Kim Jong Il Highly Praised
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Seminars were held by a district committee of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Comrade Kim Il Sung of Old Kampala Higher Middle School in Uganda and the Political Faculty of University of Damascus in Syria on June 14 and 15 on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The director of the international department of the above-said party of Uzbekistan said in a speech that Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the WPK, has developed the WPK into a party strong in organization and discipline over the last 43 years, adding that he is a great thinker and theoretician and a great master of leadership.
Saber Ballul, vice dean of the Political Faculty of Damascus University of Syria, noted that the WPK headed by Kim Jong Il has demonstrated its dignity and might to the whole world as an organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people.
Romesh Chandra, honorary president of the World Peace Council, noted in a statement issued on June 14 that Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., WPK marked an event of historic significance in further developing the Party and bringing the Korean revolution to completion as it provided a guarantee for steadily advancing socialism in Korea despite any adversity.
Leon Nzokene, general secretary of the Congolese Socialist Party, in a statement on June 12, praised Kim Jong Il for having developed the WPK into an eternal party of Kim Il Sung and an invincible revolutionary party over the past more than four decades.
Meanwhile, meetings took place in Basel, Switzerland and Copenhagen, Denmark on June 13 and 16 on occasions of the 43rd anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., WPK, the 7th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the month of international solidarity with the Korean people.
Speakers at meetings highly praised the original Songun policy pursued by Kim Jong Il.
Performance of Art Groups of Servicepersons' Families Goes on
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- The 10th performance of art groups of servicepersons' families of the Korean People's Army is drawing capacity audience here.
The performers presented poems, story telling, choruses and other numbers through which they sang high praise of the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il, the great commander of Songun, and the profound loving care shown by him over the last decade since their contest started.
Their repertoire truthfully represented the militant spirit and optimism with which the servicepersons' families have helped the loud drum beating for the Songun revolution resound through the country.
Their performance dealt in a simple and plain manner with the collectivist spirit and social issues raised by the era with perfect ensemble and refined representation.
Preservation of Independence Called for
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- The maintenance of independence on the part of each country and nation is essential to speeding up the cause of global independence and accomplishing it.
Rodong Sinmun declares this in a signed article Saturday.
The realization of independence of each country and nation will lead to the acceleration of the cause of global independence, and the further victorious advance of the above-said cause will help more reliably ensure their independence, the paper notes, and goes on:
To hold fast to independence is a source of great might that makes it possible to realize unity and cooperation among countries and victoriously advance the human cause of independence.
Each country or nation should develop the friendly and cooperative relations on the principles of equality and mutual respect, and it should neither infringe upon others' sovereignty nor allow others to violate its own sovereignty.
The countries advocating independence should settle any difference of view between them through dialogues and negotiations on the principle of unity. They should never be deceived or involved into the imperialists' crafty plots to cause split, dissension and disputes.
The people's struggle for independence represents justice, and it indicates the orientation of the development of history.
The Korean people have firmly defended their ideology, system and socialism no matter how the international situation may change and despite manifold difficulties.
If one advances the revolution and construction one's own way on one's principle no matter what others may say, one will emerge victorious, finding a way out but if one yields to the foreign forces' pressure or follow others, it would result in the ruin of revolution. This is the truth of history experienced by the Korean people in the course of the struggle for independence and socialism.
GNP Denounced for Falsifying Truth of Grand Festival for National Reunification
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- It was entirely due to the Grand National Party of south Korea that the grand festival for national reunification to mark the 7th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration held in Pyongyang underwent difficulties. But the GNP is busy floating misinformation falsifying the truth of the festival.
The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland says this in information bulletin No. 931 released on June 22.
The GNP has stood against the June 15 joint declaration and hamstrung its implementation, describing June 15 as a "day of national humiliation" and calling for the repeal of the joint declaration, the bulletin recalled, and continued: Moreover, it had neither justification nor qualification nor face to participate in the festival as it did not join the south side committee for implementing the June 15 joint declaration as a political party.
The north side committee for implementing the June 15 joint declaration, foreseeing that the GNP's participation in the recent festival would only lay an obstacle in its way, repeatedly clarified its principled stand of refusing its participation in the festival and sent a notice to the south side.
Nevertheless, the GNP made its way into the festival in the name of "guests to the festival", though uninvited, and promised in advance that it would take part in it strictly in its private capacity. Guys from the GNP, however, obstinately insisted that they should be invited to sit in the first row of the platform party as "representatives of the party dominating the south Korean National Assembly," breaking their earlier promise. They thus persistently tried to scuttle the meeting for national unity, the main event of the festival.
It was the calculation of the GNP that the successful holding of the festival and the growing atmosphere supporting the June 15 joint declaration would be absolutely unfavorable for itself at a time when "the presidential elections" are drawing near. For this reason, the GNP let its members join the south side delegation in a bid to create difficulties in the work of the festival. Everything would have gone well during the festival, had those lawmakers from the GNP stayed calm and withdrawn their insistence. They, however, insisted on their claim to the last moment.
Worse still, those legislators went the lengths of prattling that when they go back to the south, "they would be welcomed as heroes who have scuttled the festival".
All these facts clearly prove before the nation that if the GNP is allowed to meddle in the inter-Korean movement for reunification, it would bring every undertaking to a bankruptcy though it had been expected to be successful and in case it is allowed to come to power, it would drive the inter-Korean relations to a collapse and only make the atmosphere of confrontation and tension prevail in the Korean Peninsula.
Abolition of NSL Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- The Democratic Labor Party of south Korea and its affiliated organizations reportedly issued a commentary and statements on June 19, demanding the abolition of the "National Security Law" and the release of the arrested person.
The deputy spokesman for the Party pointed out in a commentary that on June 18 the security investigation corps of the National Police Office arrested Pak Jun Ui, director of the police-making bureau of the Student Committee of the Party. The security authorities are mad on man-hunting by dint of such repressive tools as the NSL and the corps, the commentary charged.
The Student Committee of the Party in its statement condemned the security authorities for their frantic efforts to concoct plots with the "presidential elections" forthcoming, and urged the release of the arrested person and the abrogation of the NSL.
Meanwhile, the Student Commission of the Seoul City Committee of the Party charged in its statement that the security authorities are nowadays seeking to stifle the progressive forces by inventing such plots as the "case of the Single-minded Association" and the "case of an organization wire-pulling the south Korean Federation of University Student Councils" on the strength of the NSL.
Visits
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea led by Kim Thae Jong, vice department director of the WPK Central Committee, left here Saturday to visit Egypt, Syria and Yemen.
Meanwhile, a delegation of the European Parliament headed by Hubert Pirker, chairman of its Delegation for the Relations with Korean Peninsula, arrived here on the same day.
U.S. Introduction of More Fighter Bombers into S. Korea Flailed
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialist aggressors transferred 20 F-16 fighter bombers and more than 300 air force personnel from the air force base in Aviano, Italy and deployed them in their air force base in Kunsan, south Korea on June 19 in the wake of the announcement about the transfer made on June 14.
It was reported that the fighter bombers would involve themselves in joint military exercises with the air force of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces in south Korea and the air force of the south Korean armed forces during their long presence there.
In the meantime, the U.S. imperialists staged madcap air battle drills and exercises for intensive strikes at ground targets, close air support and airlifting operations in coordinated operations with F-16 fighter bombers and formations of A-10 assault planes belonging to the U.S. seventh air force in south Korea after deploying overseas based F-15, F/A-18, E-3, EP-3 and flying corps of other type planes in their bases in south Korea.
Japan-and Guam-based B-52 strategic bombers and F/A-18 pursuit and assault planes flew into the air over areas of south Korea in pairs or in formations periodically and staged air battle operational exercises in parallel with the long distance navigation exercises of dropping bombs before returning to their bases, while being refueled in the air.
It is a very dangerous military provocation that the U.S. imperialists are busy staging frantic air battle exercises targeted against the DPRK by massively reinforcing the air force in and around the Korean Peninsula and introducing war planes even from Europe into it.
The U.S. imperialist warhawks had better immediately stop the anti-DPRK war exercises and pull back the air force from south Korea.
Remains of Patriots Discovered
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Remains of 98 patriots and civilians have been discovered in Susan-ri, Kangso County, South Phyongan Province. They were killed by the U.S. imperialists and the class enemies during the Fatherland Liberation War (June 1950-July 1953).
Remains and relics of the dead and lethal weapons used by the killers were unearthed in the site of the chestnut storehouse and Takme Valley from May 13 to 28.
Among them are tuft of hair burnt by fire, the severed foot with shoe, the split and crumbled bones of skull, legs and arms by hoe, shovel blade, hammer and iron bar, bodies without heads and legs and the bones with bullets. There are also the people to hold a baby in their arms or backs.
Among the lethal weapons are fired cartridges, bullets, a shovel with a rope attached to each side of the blade, different kinds of large nails, spit, iron bar, iron chains and wires used to bind the patriots, pieces of glass used in gouging out the people's eyes and blood-stained stones.
Susan-ri, along with Sinchon of South Hwanghae Province, has been known as the land of grudge indicting the brutality of the U.S. imperialists and the class enemies. The murderers cold-bloodedly slew some 1,000 patriots and innocent civilians, one third of the population of Susan-myon at that time during the temporary strategic retreat of the Fatherland Liberation War.
The visitors are swearing revenge on the U.S. imperialists and the class enemies a hundred and thousand fold.
The excavation work continues.
Third Badminton Technical Innovation Contest Held
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- A badminton technical innovation contest was held at the Badminton Gymnasium in Chongchun Street. It was the third one this year.
The contest was held, divided into adult one (A class) and youth one (B class).
The Sports Group of the Pyongyang Railway Bureau won the men's single team events (adult and youth) and the Haebangsan Sports Group the women's single team events (adult and youth).
Ri Wi Song of the Sports Group of the Pyongyang Railway Bureau and Hong Kyu Ok of the Haebangsan Sports Group came in first respectively in male and female single events.
Members of the contest organizing committee, coaches and experts said that the successful smash rate of the winners was raised by two percent and their successful stroke rate per round by three percent compared with the first and second contests.
Pak Chan Sun, secretary of the Korean Badminton Association, said the contest marked an important occasion in further boosting the technique of badminton players onto higher stage and preparing them spiritually, physically and technically.

CRPP condena al "GPN" del Sur de Corea
Pyongyang, 23 de junio (ATCC) -- El Secretariado del Comite por la Reunificacion Pacifica de la Patria (CRPP), en la informacion No. 931 fechada 22, condeno al "Gran Partido Nacional" del Sur de Corea que difunde rumores insolitos tergiversando el verdadero aspecto del Gran Festival para la Reunificacion Nacional efectuado en Pyongyang con motivo del VII aniversario de la Declaracion Conjunta del 15 de Junio.
El "GPN" es un colectivo que ofendio el 15 de Junio calificandolo de "dia de verguenza nacional" y obstaculizo la ejecucion de la declaracion conjunta exigiendo la anulacion de esta. No tiene obligacion ni calificacion ni honra de participar en el citado festival porque no se hizo parte del Comite Sureno para la Ejecucion de la Declaracion Conjunta del 15 de Junio, senala el documento y prosigue:
Al prever que la presencia de este "partido" en el festival creara obstaculo en la realizacion del acto arriba mencionado el comite norteno expreso varias veces la negacion de principios a la participacion del "GPN" y lo notifico.
Sin embargo, el "GPN" se infiltro en el evento nacional con rotulo del "huesped". Y, al volcar su compromiso previo de participar en el estrictamente en "calidad individual" se obstino en ocupar un puesto de la primera linea de la tribuna como "representante de un partido dominante en la asamblea nacional" e impidio de toda trance la realizacion del Congreso de la Unidad Nacional, acto principal del festival.
La marcha exitosa del festival y la elevacion del ambiente de apoyo al 15 de Junio resultaran absolutamente desfavorables al "GPN" en visperas de las "elecciones presidenciales".
Por eso, el "GPN" incorporo sus miembros a la delegacion surcoreana bajo el objeto de llevar al fracaso el festival creando asi obstaculos en la marcha de este evento nacional. A pesar de que no habria ocurrido ningun problema si los parlamentarios del "GPN" se hubieran retirado de buena fe, se obstinaron hasta el ultimo momento en tomar parte en el acto.
Para colmo, los parlamentarios del "GPN" venidos al Norte dijeron que al regresar al Sur "se convertirian en heroes por su merito de llevar al fracaso el festival".
Todos los hechos prueban claramente que si el "GPN" se interviene en el movimiento por la reunificacion N-S, esta causa nacional se llevara al fracaso y si esta horda de traidores prevalece, se empeoraran las relaciones entre ambas partes de Corea y se soplaran vientos de confrontacion y tirantez en la Peninsula Coreana.
Rodong Sinmun subraya necesidad de mantener la independencia
Pyongyang, 23 de junio (ATCC) -- El mantenimiento de la independencia de todos los paises y naciones es importante garantia para acelerar el avance de la causa de la independencia en el mundo y lograr su victoria.
Asi senala el diario Rodong Sinmun en un articulo individual de este sabado y continua:
Cuando se realiza la independencia de cada pais y nacion se acelerara la causa de realizacion de la independencia en el mundo y el avance victorioso de esta causa dara firme garantia para la independencia del pais y la nacion.
Mantener la independencia sirve de fuente de poderosa fuerza para realizar la unidad y cooperacion entre los paises y lograr el avance victorioso de la causa de independencia.
Todos los paises y naciones deben desarrollar las relaciones de amistad y cooperacion en el principio de igualdad y respeto mutuo y no deben atentar la soberania de otros ni ver atentada la suya.
Los paises que abogan por la independencia deben lograr la solucion de las divergencias de criterios entre si en el principio de unidad y en ningun caso deben dejarse enganar por las astutas maniobras imperialistas de division, cizana y de estimulo al litigio.
La lucha de los pueblos por la independencia es la justicia y la direccion de desarrollo de la historia.
El pueblo coreano ha defendido firmemente nuestra idea, regimen y socialismo pese al brusco cambio de la situacion internacional y a las multiples dificultades.
Se abre el horizonte de la victoria al impulsar la revolucion y construccion por cuenta propia sin prestar oidos a lo que dicen otros y se echa a pique la revolucion al doblegarse por la presion de las fuerzas foraneas y seguir ciegamente a estas. Esto es la verdad de la historia que el pueblo coreano saco en la lucha por la independencia y el socialismo.
Comite preparatorio de recordacion de Kim Il Sung nace en Cambodia
Pyongyang, 23 de junio (ATCC) -- Quedo constituido el dia 19 el Comite Preparatorio de Cambodia para la recordacion de Su Excelencia generalisimo Kim Il Sung, gran Lider.
Como presidente y vicepresidente de esta entidad fueron electos el viceprimer ministro encargado del Palacio Real, Kong Sam Ol, y el miembro del Presidium del CC del Partido del Pueblo de Camboya, Chea Sot, respectivamente.
Con motivo del aniversario 13 del fallecimiento del Presidente Kim Il Sung, el comite naciente decidio organizar varios actos como el encuentro de recordacion, seminario sobre sus hazanas, proyeccion filmica y galeria de fotos y dar a conocer ampliamente las imborrables hazanas revolucionarias de este gran hombre sin igual a traves de los medios publicitarios como periodicos y radios.
Varios paises elogian inmortales hazanas de Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, 23 de junio (ATCC) -- Con motivo del 43 aniversario del inicio del trabajo del Dirigente Kim Jong Il en el Comite Central del Partido del Trabajo de Corea, tuvieron lugar los dias 14 y 15 seminarios en un comite distrital del Partido Democratico Popular de Uzbekistan, el Grupo de Estudio de la Idea Juche del Camarada Kim Il Sung de la escuela secundaria de Old Kampala de Uganda y la facultad de la politica de la Universidad de Damasco de Siria.
El jefe del departamento internacional de la primera entidad politica senalo en el seminario que durante 43 anos pasados, Su Excelencia Kim Jong Il, Secretario General del Partido del Trabajo de Corea fortalecio el PTC como un poderoso partido muy organizado y disciplinado y subrayo que el es gran ideologo, teorico y maestro de direccion.
Saber Ballul, subdecano de la facultad de la politica de susodicha universidad, dijo que el PTC guiado por Su Excelencia Kim Jong Il demuestra a todo el mundo su dignidad y poderio como orientador y organizador de todas las victorias del pueblo coreano.
Romesh Chandra, presidente honorario del Consejo Mundial de la Paz, en su declaracion fechada 14, senalo que el inicio del trabajo de Su Excelencia Kim Jong Il en el CC del PTC es un evento de significacion historica para el fortalecimiento del partido y el feliz termino de la revolucion coreana y deviene una garantia que permite al socialismo coreano avanzar sin desvio en cualquier situacion dificil.
Leon Nzokene, secretario general del Partido Socialista Congoleno, en su declaracion publicada el dia 12, elogio que durante mas de 40 anos, el Dirigente convirtio el PTC en el eterno partido del Presidente Kim Il Sung y en la invencible agrupacion revolucionaria.
Por otra parte, en ocasion de la misma efemeride, del 7o aniversario de la publicacion de la Declaracion Conjunta Norte-Sur del 15 de Junio y del mes de solidaridad internacional con el pueblo coreano, se realizaron los 13 y 16 mitines en Basel de Suiza y Copenhague de Dinamarca.
Los oradores en estos conclaves encomiaron el hecho de que el Dirigente practica la original politica de Songun (priorizacion militar).
