Diplomatic Ties at Ambassadorial Level Established between DPRK and United Arab Emirates
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- A joint communique on the establishment of diplomatic ties between the governments of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the United Arab Emirates was made public in New York on September 17.
According to it, the governments of the two countries decided to establish diplomatic ties at ambassadorial level effective from the date of signing the joint communique, out of their desire to promote the mutual interests of their peoples and strengthen friendship and cooperation, on the basis of the principles and purpose of the United Nations Charter, especially the international law and treaties on the promotion of international peace and security, equality among nations, national sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and noninterference in the internal affairs of other countries and in conformity with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations dated April 18, 1961.
The joint communique was signed by Pak Kil Yon, DPRK permanent representative and ambassador e. p. to the United Nations, on behalf of the DPRK government and Ahmed Al-Jarman, permanent representative of the United Arab Emirates and its ambassador e. p. to the United Nations, on behalf of its government.

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Il, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, sent a message of greetings to Said Musa, Prime Minister of Belize, on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of its independence.
The message wished the Belizean prime minister greater success in his responsible work for the progress and prosperity of the country and expressed the belief that the bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation would continue to develop on good terms in the future, too.

35th Plenary Meeting of Youth League Held
Hamhung, September 20 (KCNA) -- The 35th plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League was held in Hamhung on Thursday.
The meeting discussed the issue of arousing the organizations of the youth league to thoroughly implement the tasks proposed in Kim Jong Il's work "Let Young People Highly Exalt the Honor of Being Young Vanguard in the Era of Songun by Carrying Forward the Tradition of the Juche-Oriented Youth Movement" and matters related to frustrating the imperialists' ideological and cultural poisoning.
Reporter and speakers at the meeting said that the work published on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Young Communist League of Korea serves as a powerful ideological and theoretical weapon for glorifying the idea of the Workers' Party of Korea and the leader, which calls for giving importance to young people, and their leadership exploits and strengthening and developing the youth league into the young vanguard true to the cause of the Party in name and reality and a banner of struggle and advance.

Aphorism on Revolutionary Comradeship
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- "Revolutionary comradeship is the acme of the love for the human being."
The aphorism of Kim Jong Il means that there is no love loftier and more beautiful than the revolutionary comradeship.
The revolutionary comradeship is a noble ideological emotion with which comrades love and value each other.
The love among the revolutionary comrades who share weal and woe, overcoming difficulties and ordeals in the revolutionary struggle is deeper and more enthusiastic than the paternal love or amity among friends.
The history of the Korean revolution struggle is that of revolutionary comradeship.
President Kim Il Sung made a 40 kilometer-long journey for a comrade overnight during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and did not hesitate to throw his life before the enemy's gun for the sake of comrades. His fervent comradeship gave origin to the revolutionary comradeship along with the Korean revolution.
Charmed by his rare love, the young revolutionaries of the new generation regarded the President as the centre of leadership and unity and remained loyal to him in the noble sense of the revolutionary obligation till the last moments of their lives. They thus made the history of unity and cohesion, the source of the inexhaustible strength of the Korean people.
The history of the comradeship made in the Korean revolution under the President is creditably carried forward by Kim Jong Il.
Numerous are anecdotes on comradeship created during his long journey for field guidance.
He visited Chol Pass, Mt. Osong, Panmunjom and other places where servicepersons live to help them to feel the pride and honor and had photo session with them in trenches. Looking up to him, they evinced their resolution to live and struggle as eternal Songun revolutionary comrades of the tender-hearted Supreme Commander.

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- The performance of Art circle members of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex was given before capacity audience at the People's Palace of Culture in Pyongyang, which began on September 15.

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- To realize the unity of the whole nation is a decisive guarantee for achieving independent and peaceful reunification, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Thursday.

Kim Jong Il's Work Off Press in Mexico
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il's famous work "The Juche Philosophy Is an Original Revolutionary Philosophy" was brought out in booklet by the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism on Sept. 15.
The work published on July 26, Juche 85 (1996) scientifically deals with the limitation of the time the preceding philosophy was enunciated and the originality of the Juche philosophy and clarifies the idea that the Juche philosophy serves as a revolutionary and political philosophy of the Workers' Party of Korea and issues of principle arising in studying, explaining and disseminating the Juche philosophy.

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Institutions and organizations in Syria, Britain, Peru and the U.S. posted special write-ups on their Internet homepages on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) posted a photo of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mt. Paektu and an article on its Internet homepage on Sept. 5 to mark the day.
The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy posted a photo of the President announcing a political platform of the DPRK government at the 1st session of the Supreme People's Assembly and an article on its Internet homepage on Sept. 7.
The homepage in the article introduced the glorious history of 59 years covered by the DPRK and stressed that the President would always live in the hearts of the Korean people.
The Peru Group for the Study of Kimilsungism in an article titled "Spirit of Thaechon" posted on its Internet homepage on Sept. 6 noted that the cause of building a great prosperous powerful nation is a sacred cause of implementing the last instructions of the President in the DPRK.
The U.S. Group for the Study of Songun Politics in an article titled "Songun Korea would shine forever" posted on its Internet homepage fully introduced in detail the immortal exploits the President performed by founding and developing the DPRK. Functions Held in Mongolia
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Meetings and art performances took place at Kim Il Sung Kindergarten in Ovorhangay Province and Kim Jong Il Kindergarten in Darkhan-Uul Province of Mongolia on September 8 and 11 on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of naming them after the peerlessly great men and the 59th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
On display in the venues of the functions were famous works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and photos showing their revolutionary activities.
The governor of Ovorhangay Province said in his speech at a meeting that it is pride and honor for his province to have the kindergarten bearing the august name of Kim Il Sung, expressing the will to make a positive contribution to the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

DPRK's Birthday Celebrated in Different Countries
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Meetings took place in Democratic Congo and Sweden and a meeting, book and photo exhibition and film show were held in Austria from September 4 to 7 on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the DPRK.
On display in the venues of the functions were famous works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, photos showing their immortal feats and books and photos introducing the shining course covered by the DPRK.
Otete Gaston Mboyo, chairman of the National Committee of the Genuine Lumumbist Patriotic Party of Democratic Congo, praised the DPRK for having advanced only along the road of victory under the banner of Songun, adding that the DPRK would always win victory after victory under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, noted that the achievements made by the DPRK in the international arena in recent days proved that the way of Songun chosen by the Korean people was right.

RPDC y Emiratos Arabes Unidos establecen relaciones diplomaticas
Pyongyang, 20 de septiembre (ATCC) -- Se dio a la publicidad el dia 17 en Nueva York el comunicado conjunto sobre el establecimiento de las relaciones diplomaticas entre los gobiernos de la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea y Emiratos Arabes Unidos.
Segun el texto, partiendo del deseo mutuo de fomentar la comprension reciproca y fortalecer la amistad y cooperacion entre los pueblos de los dos paises y basandose en los principios y el objetivo de la carta de la ONU, en especial, en los derechos y tratados internacionales sobre el fomento de la paz y seguridad internacionales, la igualdad entre los Estados, la soberania nacional, la independencia, la integracion territorial, la no-intervencion en los asuntos internos de otros paises, los gobiernos de ambos paises acordaron establecer las relaciones diplomaticas a nivel de embajador a partir de la fecha en que firmaran el citado comunicado conjunto de acuerdo con los articulos de la Convencion de Viena del 18 de abril de 1961 sobre las relaciones diplomaticas.
En representacion de los gobiernos de ambos paises, el documento fue rubricado por Pak Kil Yon, representante permanente y embajador extraordinario y plenipotenciario de la RPDC ante la ONU, y por su homologo del pais arabe, Ahmed Al-Jarman.

Pyongyang, 20 de septiembre (ATCC) -- Cha Kum Chol conquisto la medalla de oro al levantar un total de 283 kg (128 kg en el arranque y 155 kg en el envion) en su division de 56 kg del Campeonato Mundial de Levantamiento de Pesas de 2007 (M), efectuado el dia 18.

Rodong Sinmun aboga por la unidad pannacional
Pyongyang, 20 de septiembre (ATCC) -- El diario Rodong Sinmun publico en su edicion de este jueves un articulo individual subrayando que el logro de la unidad pannacional deviene la garantia decisiva de la reunificacion independiente y pacifica.
La reunificacion de Corea no se propone a acabar con las contradicciones internas y las discrepancias entre los regimenes de ambas partes coreanas sino se orienta a reanudar la arteria nacional cortada por las fuerzas foraneas y lograr la conciliacion nacional, explica el articulista y prosigue:
Por tal razon, esa empresa tiene por su premisa mayor y contenido principal la unidad nacional.
Es una insoportable tragedia nacional el hecho de que la nacion coreana viene sufriendo durante mas de 60 anos las desgracias de la division en el Norte y en el Sur impuesta por las fuerzas foraneas.
Lo fundamental de la reunificacion no reside en algun procedimiento o metodos.
Si se logra la gran unidad pannacional basandose en la reconciliacion entre el Norte y el Sur y la union de voluntades de todos los coterraneos, se resolvera el problema fundamental de la reunificacion del pais.
Por eso, este asunto resulta el motor principal y el factor determinante de esa causa.
Cuando todos los coreanos se unan firmemente siendo fuerzas subjetivas de la reunificacion de la patria, esta causa se cumplira con exito.
La realidad de la actual epoca de reunificacion del 15 de junio, en que bajo la bandera del ideal de "Entre nosotros, los connacionales", la lucha por la reconciliacion y unidad nacionales se desarrolla en una etapa mas alta, corrobora el poderio y la vitalidad de la gran unidad pannacional como el motor de la causa de reunificacion independiente.
Esa cohesion puede ser lograda con exito si todos los compatriotas se fusionan compactamente bajo ese ideal, bandera de la unidad nacional, por encima de las diferencias de ideas y sistemas.
Mexico: editada en folleto obra de Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, 20 de septiembre (ATCC) -- El Comite Mexicano de Estudio del Kimilsunismo dio a luz el dia 15 en folleto la obra maestra del Dirigente Kim Jong Il "La filosofia Juche es una original filosofia revolucionaria", publicada el 26 de julio del 85 (1996) de la Era Juche.
@La obra hace un analisis cientifico de las limitaciones de la epoca de las filosofias antecedentes y la originalidad de la jucheana y plantea la idea de que esta ultima deviene la filosofia revolucionaria y politica del Partido del Trabajo de Corea.
@Tambien indica los problemas de principios que se presentan en el estudio, la interpretacion y la propaganda sobre ella.
