Kim Jong Il Inspects Command of KPA Unit 351
Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected the command of KPA Unit 351.
After looking round the room devoted to the history of the unit, he dropped in at an operation commanding room and military science study rooms to acquaint himself with the unit's performance of duty and the training of its officers.

Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- The 3rd Symposium on Architectural Aesthetics was held here Wednesday.

Another Hot Spring Found on Shore of Lake Chon
Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- Another hot spring was found on the shore of Lake Chon by the General Exploration Team of Lake Chon on Mt. Paektu. It was named Rakwon Hot Spring.
The hot spring, 20 meters long and 5 meters wide, is located at the foot of Rakwon Peak.
The maximum temperature of the spring of sodium bicarbonate is 47.5 degrees and average temperature is 45 degrees Celsius. Its pH is 6.8 and its total mineral content is 1,250.25 milligrams per liter. It is drinkable as it contains no ingredient harmful to the human body.
An analysis tells that it is as efficacious as Kangso mineral water, which is well known at home and abroad for its asepsis and high efficacy for chronic gastritis, chronic hepatitis, skin disorder, anemia, urinary diseases, etc.
The Paektu Hot Spring and the Paekam Hot Spring had been found earlier on the shore of Lake Chon.
KCNA Terms Lee Myung Bak Traitor of Modern Version
Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- Lee Myung Bak of south Korea betrayed his true colors as a die-hard sycophantic traitor during his junkets to the U.S. and Japan when he sold off the dignity and interests of the nation.
He called south Korea "a stock company of the U.S." and invited the Japanese king to Seoul while calling him "emperor," thus bringing shame to the nation.
In less than two months since he came to power Lee reduced south Korea to a stock company of the U.S. monopoly capitalists and freed Japan of its responsibility for the redemption of the past crimes. This is just the tip of iceberg of his sycophantic and treacherous deeds.

After his inauguration as "president" the spirit of "By our nation itself" has grown weak and the past era of sycophancy toward the U.S. and cooperation with outsiders has been brought back in south Korea.
Before taking office he had called for the tightened south Korea-U.S. "alliance," worrying over the "impaired alliance." He is now strengthening the tie-ups with outsiders, away from serving the nation's interests and dignity.
The Lee Myung Bak regime agreed to increase the costs for the U.S. military presence in south Korea, dispatch troops to Afghanistan again and import American beef. These are a clear proof showing that the regime is set to serve the outsiders for the "relations of strategic alliance in the 21st century."
A particular mention should be made of the fact that his group has called for "friendship" with Japan which still remains a sworn enemy to the Korean nation.
The group considers it "pragmatic" to bury into oblivion the Japanese imperialists' history of aggression on Korea. What a far-fetched assertion it is.
To this end, it has defended Japan's past crimes and even stood in the way of editing "biographical dictionary of pro-Japanese elements," talking about the "new era of cooperation" and "orientation toward the future."

Lee Myung Bak Regime's Arms Buildup under Fire

They are also seeking to purchase fifth generation fighters equipped with Stealth function and technology related to the establishment of Patriot missile defense system.

Implementation of Inter-Korean Declarations Called for

S. Korean Authorities' Sycophancy toward U.S. under Fire

April Holidays of DPRK Commemorated in Different Countries

Pyongyang, 8 de mayo (ATCC) -- Durante su reciente visita a Estados Unidos y Japon, Lee Myung Bak mostro su fachada de vendepatria servil a grandes potencias al manchar y sacrificar la dignidad y los intereses nacionales.
Lo que hizo el en esa gira fue nombrar al Sur de Corea como "Corea del Sur S.A. de EE.UU." e "invitar" al rey japones a Seul llamandole "emperador".

Arrodillado ante las fuerzas extranjeras, para las supuestas "relaciones estrategicas de alianza del siglo 21", el "poder" de Lee acepto el aumento de los gastos para el mantenimiento de las tropas norteamericanas ocupantes del Sur de Corea, el reenvio de efectivos surcoreanos a Afganistan y la importacion de la carne de res de EE.UU.
Para colmo, la banda de Lee sigue hablando hasta ahora de la "amistad" con Japon, enemigo jurado de la nacion coreana.
Segun los compinches de Lee, conviene al "pragmatismo" dejar encubiertos la historia de agresion a Corea y los crimenes del siglo pasado de los imperialistas japoneses.
En ese contexto, ellos estropean hasta la redaccion del "diccionario biografico de elementos projaponeses" hablando de la "nueva epoca de cooperacion" y "orientarse al futuro".

Pyongyang, 8 de mayo (ATCC) -- Hace poco, las fuerzas belicistas surcoreanas convocaron el "comite de promocion de labor de defensa", donde decidieron introducir entre 2010 y 2012 desde Estados Unidos 21 cazas "F-15K" y centenares de misil crucero aire-tierra de tipo ultramoderno a ser cargados en estas aeronaves. Tambien, intentan introducir los cazas de quinta generacion dotados de funcion Stealth y aplicar la tecnologia necesaria al sistema antimisiles "Patriot".
Tales complots de los belicistas surcoreanos devienen una provocacion intolerable contra la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea que aspira a la reunificacion pacifica y una locura antinacional y anti-paz que lleva a la guerra la situacion de la Peninsula Coreana.

Es indiscutible quien persigue la confrontacion, quien agrava la tension en el Norte y el Sur de la Peninsula Coreana.
Mientras las autoridades surcoreanas promueven la politica de confrontacion con la RPDC y fortalecen el aumento armamentista y otros movimientos militares, sera imposible preservar la paz en dicha Peninsula ni librarse la nacion coreana del peligro de la guerra.
En estos momentos en que la vida del pueblo se empeora debido a la bancarrota economica y el desempleo masivo, el "poder" de Lee Myung Bak malgasta colosales fondos para el aumento armamentista y los preparativos de guerra e intenta acarrear a toda la nacion las calamidades de la guerra, lo cual comprueba que el "poder" de Lee es justamente el "poder" traidor y belicoso.
