The message said:
We extend warm congratulations and greetings to you and, through you, to the Communist Party, the government and people of China on behalf of the WPK, the DPRK government and the Korean people on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the founding of the PRC.
Over the past 59 years since the foundation of the PRC the Chinese people have built a socialist state with Chinese characteristics, overcoming manifold difficulties.
Noting that the Chinese people have achieved great successes in the struggle to build a harmonious socialist society based on the scientific view on development and attain the reunification of the whole country under the leadership of the CPC headed by General Secretary Hu Jintao, the message continued:
The Korean people are rejoiced over them and sincerely wish the Chinese people greater success in the work to carry out the tasks set forth at the 17th Congress of the CPC.
It is the consistent stand of our Party and government to steadily consolidate and develop the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations.
Availing ourselves of this opportunity, we express belief that the traditional DPRK-China friendly relations will grow stronger thanks to the common efforts of the parties, governments and peoples of the two countries and sincerely wish the PRC prosperity and the Chinese people happiness.
