Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- Officials of ministries, national institutions and Ryanggang Province visited different parts of Taehongdan County of the province Tuesday on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's famous work "On Bringing about a Signal Turn in Potato Farming".

They first laid bouquets in front of the statue of President Kim Il Sung standing at the Monument to the Victorious Battles in the Musan Area and paid tribute to him in humble reverence.

Then, they went round fields of the Second Work-Team of the Changphyong Farm, the Fourth Work-Team of the Hongam Farm, the Potato Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science, the Paeksan Pig Farm, the Taehongdan Potato Processing Factory and other places.

They were impressed to hear about the immortal history of the leadership provided by the President and Kim Jong Il to the relevant units and shining achievements made by them under the warm care of the Workers' Party of Korea.

While visiting different parts of the county, they grasped once again the validity and vitality of the above-said policy of the WPK.
