The Korean people warmly congratulate the friendly Chinese people on their national day and wish them greater success in their future struggle for the building of a harmonious socialist society based on a scientific view on development, say the signed articles.

The foundation of the PRC on October 1, 1949 enabled the Chinese people to emerge masters of their country and their own destinies and take the road of building socialism, notes Rodong Sinmun, and goes on;

The Chinese government has brought an epoch-making change in the vast land of China where backwardness and poverty once prevailed by correctly organizing and mobilizing the Chinese people to the struggle for implementing the line and polices set forth by the Communist Party of China in every period of the revolutionary development and at its each stage. China is known in the international community as a country strong in national power and a country where economy, culture and science and technology are making rapid progress. It has taken on new looks in the world.

The DPRK and China are close neighbors and the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and peoples are long-standing. The bilateral friendship is developing favorably as the days go by under the deep care of the top leaders of the two countries. It is the common desire and wishes of the two peoples and beneficial to ensuring peace, security and stability in the region to steadily develop the traditional DPRK-China friendship.
