The statement accused the U.S. and the south Korean puppets of fabricating on October 1, 1953 the "treaty" the keynote of which is to indefinitely keep U.S. forces in south Korea and its vicinity, let the U.S. forces put the puppet forces under their control and conduct the combined military operations in case of emergency on the Korean Peninsula.

Over the past 55 years since the conclusion of the "treaty" the United States has massively introduced aggressor armed forces and WMDs including nuclear weapons into south Korea, turning it into a military base for invading the DPRK and the biggest nuclear arsenal in the Far East. It has, at the same time, staged ceaseless joint military exercises and perpetrated all kinds of military provocations against the DPRK including Team Spirit, Ulji Focus Lens and RSOI, pushing the situation on the peninsula to the brink of war, the statement noted, and went on:

The U.S. forces deprived people of land, their cradle, to build military bases in south Korea. They are openly committing hair-raising crimes such as murder, robbery and violence, exercising extraterritorial rights in south Korea.

Such arrogant and brigandish moves of the U.S. to strengthen its domination and subjugation and launch a war of aggression have reached a more reckless and dangerous phase due to the Lee Myung Bak group's sycophancy towards the U.S. and acts of treachery.

The Lee group is acting a shock force in the confrontation with fellow countrymen and a war of aggression, after totally negating the agreement made with fellow countrymen for reunification and the prosperity of the nation and blustering that "the alliance should not be weakened" when depending to the disgraceful and treacherous treaty signed with foreign forces half a century ago. This is a gang of wicked traitors to the nation and servants for the U.S. keen to ignite a nuclear war.

The statement called on all Koreans to struggle for the annulment of all aggressive, shackling and treacherous agreements and treaties including the above-said "treaty" and an end to the U.S. military presence and domination over south Korea and mete out a stern punishment to the Lee group.
