Displayed in the venue of the exhibition are more than 70 etude art works of various kinds such as Korean painting, oil painting, water-color painting and calligraphy done by artists in Pyongyang and in local areas, while witnessing the stirring reality of Taehongdan County whose appearance has changed beyond recognition under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Works including Korean painting "Joy at successful research into a new species," oil painting "Vast expanse of fields under potato flowers at foot of Mt. Paektu," water-color painting "View of potato processing in Taehongdan," calligraphy "Potatoes streaming out from the belt conveyer, scenery of the Songun era" truthfully depict officials and other working people in the county taking the lead in implementing the WPK's policy on bringing about a signal turn in potato farming.

Works such as oil painting "View of street in Taehongdan Township," water-color painting "View of the Hongam Farm" and calligraphy "Radical change" successfully portray the county which has turned into a place good to work and live in.
