Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- The Korean people's boundless praises to the three generals of Mt. Paektu can be seen in letters engraved on natural rocks. Already in the days of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, Korean revolutionaries engraved the slogan "Twenty million compatriots, when the motherland is liberated, let's convey the feats of General Kim from generation to generation by erecting here a monument cut with gold and jade axes" on a natural rock in Ryonggye-ri, Kyongwon County, North Hamgyong Province, to sow the seed of reverence to President Kim Il Sung in the people's minds. The slogan "Long live Comrade Kim Il Sung!" and the immortal revolutionary song of praise "Song of General Kim Il Sung" engraved on a natural rock of Mt. Suyang, the slogan "The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung will always be with us" engraved on a natural rock by the Yuson Falls in Mt. Myohyang, the immortal classical masterpiece "On an Autumn Day in Mt. Myohyang" engraved on a rock under the Inhodae of Mt. Myohyang and so on impressively show the faith and will of the Korean people to follow the President, always holding him in high esteem. The tradition of loyalty of the revolutionary forerunners following the President, holding him in high esteem, has generated the sentiment of trust in General Secretary Kim Jong Il, succeeded like a never shaking hard rock. After the letters "Jong Il Peak" were engraved on the sacred peak behind the secret camp in Mt. Paektu in November Juche 77 (1988), the letters "Kim Jong Il, Glory of Korea and Pride of the Nation" were engraved on the Oson Peak of picturesque Mt. Kumgang, "Kim Jong Il, Iron-willed Brilliant Commander" on the rock above the Murung Falls in Manphok Ravine of Mt. Myohyang and the slogan "Long live the great Songun policy!" on the Maebong Rock of Mt. Suyang. The letters "Kim Jong Suk, Anti-Japanese Woman General" and "General Kim Jong Suk, Anti-Japanese Woman Hero" were engraved on the rock of Kukji peak of Lagoon Samil of Mt. Kumgang and a rock in Pansok-ri, Cholwon County. Besides, letters praising the feats of the three generals of Mt. Paektu were engraved on rocks in different places of the country including the Oksoe Rock in Phyongji-ri, Maengsan County, the rock of Ryanggak Peak of Mt. Kuwol and the rock of Mangsu Peak in Mt. Kumgang, which are national treasures to be conveyed down through generations. |
