Korean Delegation Leaves for Mongolia

Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- A friendship delegation of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries headed by its Vice-Chairman Jon Yong Jin who is vice-chairman of the Korea-Mongolia Friendship Association left here today by train to visit Mongolia. On the same day a delegation of the "Russian Railways" Company headed by its President V.I. Yakunin arrived in Rason by train to participate in the ground-breaking ceremony for the reconstruction of Rajin-Khasan railways and Rajin Port. Arriving with the delegation were Governor of the Administration of Maritime Territory of the Russian Federation Sergei Darkin, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksei Borodavkin, officials concerned with railways and other Russian guests. They were greeted at Tumangang Railway Station by Jon Kil Su, minister of Railways, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and others and Valery Sukhinin, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and diplomatic envoys of different countries. |
