On Sept. 27 the group set in motion the "National Intelligence Service" and police to search 25 places including offices of the Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration in Seoul, Pusan, Kwangju, Kyonggi Province, Jeju Island and other areas and the June 15 Publishing House, the June 15 School and the June 15 TV operated by the solidarity and confiscate documents.

This goes to prove that the Lee group's tyranny has entered an extremely dangerous phase to completely stamp out the progressive pro-reunification movement forces and revive fascist dictatorship in south Korea, the statement says, and goes on:

The Lee group claims that the praise and introduction of the Juche idea and the system in the north and the activities conducted by solidarity at the so-called "instruction from the north" are the main reasons for cracking down upon it. This, however, is sheer sophism and a very poor trick as their claim can not be any ground for incriminating them.

Their act of incriminating those who praise and disseminate the Juche idea which is followed by south Koreans as compatriots and recognized by the world can not but be interpreted as the most barbaric human rights abuses as it is aimed to stamp out the idea cherished by them.

The group is suppressing the massive anti-U.S. struggle and pro-reunification movement of south Koreans who rose up in demand of independent new policy and new life after branding them as activities conducted at the "instruction from the north." This is an intolerable insult and a mockery of the people.

All facts go to clearly prove that the Lee group's suppression of progressive movement forces standing for reunification including the above-said solidarity is an undisguised fascist action to dampen the desire to achieve reunification through alliance with the north mounting in south Korea and justify their moves for inciting confrontation with the DPRK. They also prove once again that the group is made up of hysterics putting the erstwhile military dictators into the shade.

It is as clear as noonday that if the group of traitors is allowed to stay in power, they will savagely trample down upon the movement for independent reunification and the fascist dictatorial system will revive in south Korea and the whole nation suffer disasters.
