Speakers at the press conference accused Dong-A Ilbo of releasing the malignant misinformation on October 2 that "the said solidarity ran a nursery called 'June 15 playing room' to teach children of its members" and "there is the sign of the efforts to implant the Juche idea even into the minds of children."

They continued:

The solidarity provided those mothers who had no place where their children might be taken care of with a "June 15 room for children" in its office in March last year. It is, indeed, the height of sarcasm that Dong-A Ilbo claimed that this was a nursery modeled after the north's nursing facilities.

Noting with indignation that the conservative paper wantonly violated the rights of the families of those who fell victim to the "National Security Law" by spreading misinformation, they declared they would take a strong legal counter-action against Dong-A Ilbo unless it makes an apology for its biased reporting.

At the end of the press conference, the above-mentioned families handed a letter of protest to Dong-A Ilbo.
