Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- The Monument to Party Founding showing the great history and tradition of the Workers' Party of Korea has drawn at least 4. 2 million visitors over the last 13 years since it was opened to the public. They include more than 200,000 overseas compatriots and foreign friends.
A daily average of more than 2,000 servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and people of all strata, overseas compatriots and foreign friends are visiting it on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the WPK.
After being briefed on the monument, officials of the party, army and state, anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, servicepersons of the KPA, officials of organs at different levels, working people and schoolchildren look back with deep emotion on the road of struggle covered by the WPK which remains shining with victory and glory thanks to the peerlessly great men who made a new history of building a revolutionary party and developed the WPK into a mass political organization of Juche type and an invincible party on the basis of the outstanding idea and with dynamic leadership.
