Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are planning to stage a maritime interceptor missile test by SM-3 in November in the wake of the Air "Self-Defense Force's" recent ballistic missile interception test by PAC-3 in the U.S. forces' missile launching ground in New Mexico State, the U.S. This shows that the Japanese reactionaries' scheme for turning Japan into a military power and staging a comeback has reached a very dangerous stage, bringing about an actual danger. Minju Joson today says this in a signed commentary. They assert that such moves for bolstering their missile forces are aimed at "defending" Japan from someone's "missile threat." This is nothing but very absurd and brazen-faced sophism, the commentary notes, and goes on: Their moves to establish missile defence system under the cloak of "defence" are part of reinvasion preparations to launch preemptive missile attack on other countries. Their planned maritime missile interception test in the wake of the ground missile interception test is intended to acquire the capacity of missile preemptive strike and launch reinvasion as soon as possible. The DPRK is the main target of strike in realizing their strategy of preemptive attack. The Japanese reactionaries are getting hell-bent on the moves to establish the missile defence system, in active pursuance to the U.S. policy of aggression on the DPRK, with the wild ambition to stifle the DPRK by force. In the meantime, they are frantically staging the DPRK-targeted joint military exercises of Japan's "Self-Defense Forces" and the U.S. forces, offering their territory as nuclear and missile base and logistic base of the U.S. They are also massively deploying the main combat units of the SDF in the western areas of Japan adjacent to the DPRK while accelerating the modernization of the SDF on a full scale. The army and people of the DPRK are closely following the arms-buildup of the Japanese reactionaries going on under the pretext of "threat" and will bolster its military capabilities for self-defence to cope with such moves. The right to preemptive strike is not a monopoly of Japan. The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised not to make rash act but drop the wild ambition for reinvasion, pondering over what enormous catastrophic sequences their reckless moves for building up the missile force will bring to Japan. |
