A floral basket was laid before the statue of President Kim Il Sung in the joint name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the WPK Central Military Commission, the DPRK National Defence Commission, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet.

Written on the ribbon of the floral basket were letters "The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung is immortal".

They paid profound tribute to the President, looking up to his statue.

They made a bow in humble reverence to the President who successfully carried out the cause of founding a revolutionary party and developed the WPK into a steel-strong party with a high sense of organization and discipline, an invincible one receiving the absolute support and trust of the popular masses with his veteran and seasoned leadership.

Among the visitors to the palace on the same day were anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and people from all walks of life.
