Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- The United States brought its nuclear carrier George Washington to Pusan Port on Oct. 6 under the pretext of participating in the so-called "naval review of the fleet." The pretext invented by the U.S. this time was no more than a crafty artifice to cover up its scenario for a war of aggression against the DPRK. Minju Joson Sunday says this in a signed commentary. George Washington is not a sightseeing ship but a super-large nuclear carrier, the commentary notes, and goes on: The above-mentioned action taken by the U.S. is further escalating the tension on the Korean Peninsula where the situation remains tense, getting on the nerves of the servicepersons and people of the DPRK. It is the reality on the peninsula that an accidental incident may spark off an armed conflict and develop into an all-out war. It is beyond doubt that the appearance of the above-said carrier at the port is an undisguised armed blackmail against the servicepersons and people in the DPRK. Herein lies the gravity of its action. As the reality proves, the aggressive nature of the U.S. remains unchanged. It is keen to ignite a war while watching for a chance to do so. This is the very reason why the army and people of the DPRK keep increasing the national capacity for self-defense while fastening their belts. The people of the DPRK will boost the national capability for self-defense in every way under the uplifted banner of Songun in the future, too. The U.S. had better drop its wild ambition to attack the DPRK by force. |
