The statement said that the proposal for founding the DFRK set forth by President Kim Il Sung comprehensively deals with the principles and ways for founding a federal state, functions of the federal government and the regional governments and the character of the federal state.

It noted that the proposal for reunification by federal formula is acceptable to everybody as it is the most realistic and reasonable way for achieving Korea's reunification.

We actively support the above-said proposal and express firm solidarity with the Korean people in their struggle for the country's reunification, it pointed out.
