Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea issued bulletin No. 25 entitled "Fluttering Flag of the Workers' Party of Korea" on October 1 on the occasion of the 63rd founding anniversary of the WPK and the 82nd anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union. The bulletin said in its article that more than six decades covered by the WPK are a history in which it has steadily advanced, demonstrating its victory and glory under the unfurled flag of the party emblazoned with a hammer, a sickle and a writing brush. The WPK has successfully carried out its mission and role as a guiding force of the Korean people, it said, and went on: In the 1990s the Korean people faced indescribably stern ordeal due to the political and military pressure and economic sanctions of the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces and repeated severe natural calamities. However, they firmly protected the sovereignty of the country and socialism, weathering out trials under the leadership of the WPK. The WPK has advanced along the only road of victory without making even a single mistake and undergoing twists and turns in implementing its line despite all sorts of tempests of history. This was possible entirely thanks to the distinguished great men. The WPK was founded and developed by President Kim Il Sung and its history and tradition have been given steady continuity by General Secretary Kim Jong Il. It is, therefore, fully demonstrating its might as an organizer and guide of all the victories of the Korean people. The WPK is invincible because it has the Juche idea, a guiding idea publicly recognized in the era of independence, as its steadfast guidelines. The WPK will always emerge victorious under its fluttering flag, a symbol of victory and glory. The bulletin also carried the picture of the emblem of the WPK. |
