They noted that the north-south summit meeting was held in October last year and the October 4 declaration, a programme for implementing the June 15 joint declaration, was adopted thanks to the farsighted wisdom and great courageous decision of Kim Jong Il to carry out the last instructions of President Kim Il Sung for national reunification without fail.

They accused the sycophantic and treacherous Lee Myung Bak regime in south Korea of totally negating the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and chilling the desire of the compatriots for national reunification.
