The gift was conveyed to Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, on Tuesday by Li Yizhen, secretary of the Shenzhen City Educational Commission who is member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen City Committee of the CPC, on a visit to the DPRK.

Kim Jong Il was also presented with a gift in the joint name of Liu Yupu, deputy secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC who is secretary of the Shenzhen City Committee of the CPC, and Xu Zhongheng, mayor of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government.
