The WPK is making a vigorous advance under his wise leadership, holding aloft the banner of independence. It is solving all the issues arising in the party building and activities its own way on the basis of the great Juche idea and Songun idea. The Party is ushering in a new era of the country's prosperity while thoroughly preserving the Juche character and national character in all fields of the revolution and construction and regarding self-reliance as an invincible treasured sword.

Today the WPK is pervaded with the monolithic idea, the Songun idea of Juche. It has formed an invincible integral whole of its members united close around the leader in thought and purpose and in the sense of moral obligation and emerged a militant one strong in organization and discipline. This is the true picture of the WPK in the Songun era. No force on earth can break the unity and cohesion of the WPK as all its members are sharing idea and will and destiny and future with the leader in any difficulties and trials.

The Korean people are firmly determined to make long journeys for the Songun revolution with the Party to the last, always feeling grateful to the Party which takes care of all their destiny and future. The Party and the people have formed a great harmonious whole as the former serves the latter and the latter remains true to its leadership single-mindedly. Herein lies the source of the WPK's invincible might.
