Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Ristiyanto, acting general secretary of the National Guidance Council of the Vanguard Party of Indonesia, issued a statement on the occasions of the 28th anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo (DFRK) and the 1st anniversary of the publication of the historic October 4 declaration.
He in the statement noted that the proposal for founding the DFRK set forth by President Kim Il Sung is the most reasonable one for the reunification on the Korean Peninsula as it makes it possible to achieve it peacefully by the efforts of the Korean people free from interference of foreign forces.
He said that the October 4 declaration is a programme for fully embodying the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, a great programme for reunification which makes it possible to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country in the idea of "By our nation itself".
He expressed full support and solidarity with the above-said declarations, saying that they are the only proposals for reunification suited to the specific conditions in the Korean Peninsula.
He strongly demanded the south Korean authorities stop at once all the unjust actions against reunification and make a switchover to the inter-Korean reconciliation and cooperation.
