The spirit also serves as an ideological and moral foundation enabling our army and people to fully display the firm will and militant stamina by which they can do anything in the on-going general offensive.

Whenever there created grim situation in which the destiny of the revolution and the country and the nation was placed at risk the revolutionaries of the DPRK have successfully overcome the difficulties with indomitable faith and will and persevering spirit of offensive, thus converted adversity into favorable conditions and misfortune into blessing.

The secret of miracles in the struggle finds its manifestation in launching brave offensives going through the difficulties with conviction in victory.

The said spirit also serves as a powerful engine for bringing about great advance in displaying the spirit of self-reliance in the general offensive today.

The general offensive at present represents the advance in the spirit of self-reliance. This provides a sure guarantee for defending the independent dignity of the Korean people and herein lies the inexhaustible source of working signal miracles.
