U.S. Ambition for World Supremacy Blasted
Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- The U.S. has recently staged the first test flight of B-52H equipped with laser-controlled guided missiles. This missile is the latest-type weapon called "juggler" which has been improved on the basis of the experience gained from the armed conflicts and others since its first use in the 1960s.

Rodong Sinmun Monday in a signed commentary carried in this regard observes that the test flight of the above-said strategic bomber is a product of the U.S. policy of strength and its wild ambition for supremacy.

The arms buildup and modernization of weaponry stepped up by the U.S. under the pretext of protecting its "security" from the "threat" from someone and "defending" its allies are part of its war moves to realize its wild ambition for world supremacy with upper-hand in strength, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The U.S. bellicose forces are pursuing a high-handed military policy, not away from their outdated viewpoint and way of thinking dating back to the era of Cold War that strength precisely means "justice" and the U.S. position is guaranteed by strength.

The above-said moves find a vivid manifestation in south Korea and its vicinity. The U.S. imperialists have deployed new mobile strike forces in south Korea. They, at the same time, deployed a nuclear-powered carrier in Japan on a permanent basis for the first time, while reinforcing strategic offensive forces in Guam, a military base for invading the DPRK.

This is a revelation of the U.S. stand for military confrontation with the DPRK and the move to round off the preparations for another Korean war, a violation of the points agreed upon at the six-party talks. The U.S. is employing double-dealing tactics, giving more importance to military strength in the relations with the DPRK. This method is only making issues more complicated. The U.S. war-like forces' military high-handed policy does not work on the DPRK.

What is essential for the relations between the DPRK and the U.S. is to build bilateral confidence. This is more urgently required by the present circumstances.

The U.S. would be well advised to roll back its anachronistic policy to stifle the DPRK by force of arms but opt for building confidence with the DPRK.

It is daydream for the U.S. to realize its wild ambition for world supremacy with upper-hand in strength. Bearing this in mind, it had better stop its reckless moves for military confrontation with the DPRK.
